Abstract

Abstract The objectives of the research are to find out determine the effect of the general manager's leadership style on employee performance at Kharisma Hotel Bukittinggi. This research was conducted on 38 employees of Kharisma Hotel Bukittinggi who were respondents, data collection was done by questionnaire. Sampling is determined using the Total Sampling technique. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to respondents and using secondary data from the hotel. The analysis technique in this study uses simple linear regression analysis. The data in this study were processed with SPSS version 21. The results of this study showed leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Kharisma Hotel Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Abstract This research originated from the results of PLI 2 along with pre-research results for guests using the function room at the Axana Hotel in Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of servicescape on guest satisfaction at the Hotel Axana Padang function room. This type of research is quantitative with an associative causal approach. The number of samples of this study is 98 people with the sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques are by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) using the Likert scale method that has been tested for validity and reliability. Then the data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of the SPSS version 16.00 program. The results showed that Servicescape was in the very good category with a percentage of 89.90% and guest satisfaction was in the excellent category with a percentage of 71.43%, and there was a influence of servicescape variables on guest satisfaction by 39% while 61% was influenced by other factors. Abstract

The challenge of tourism destination in industrial revolution 4.0 is the existence of its information system. Website becomes one of the potential media to promote positive image of a tourism destination. Nagari Harau is one of potential tourist destinations at Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatera. However it’s an existence as well as potencies was not sufficiently published on the internet. The main obstacle of this problem is the capability of the management, in this case called a pokdarwis, in promoting it at the internet through its official website. Thus in order to overcome the problem, a public service program was design to empower the member of pokdarwis in Nagari Harau. The method used in public service program is action learning. The result of the program after having a post test toward the participants is 95% for cognitive aspect, 95% for affective aspect and 85% for conative aspect. The result show that the participants enthusiasm to the program and their increasing capability as well as capacity in promoting destination through website

Abstract

Kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis) merupakan organisasi di desa yang berperan penting dalam pengembangan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di kegiatan ini adalah penguatan kapasitas organisasi porkdarwis di Desa Muntei, Desa Madobag, Desa Matotonan yang terletak di Siberut Selatan, Kabupaten Mentawai. Ketiga desa tersebut dipilih untuk mendukung proyek pengembangan ekowisata berbasis masyarakat yang merupakan proyek kerjasama antara Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Trisakti dan Tropical Forest for Conservation Action (TFCA). Penyuluhan terbagi menjadi beberapa topik, yaitu konsep dasar pokdarwis, manfaat didirikannya pokdarwis, struktur organisasi prokdarwis, job description masing-masing bidang dan komitmen untuk mengadakan pertemuan rutin setelah penyuluhan. Metode penyuluhan adalah dengan melaksanakan pretest terlebih dahulu untuk mengetahui pemahaman peserta mengenai pokdarwis, kemudian FGD, penyuluhan dan di akhiri oleh post test. Kesimpulan dari hasil penguatan pokdarwis ini adalah adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait pokdarwis, dan terciptanya komitmen untuk melakukan pertemuan rutin dalam rangka membuat dan melaksanakan program kerja. Setelah penguatan pokdarwis ini selesai dilakukan oleh narasumber, selanjutnya akan dilakukan pendampingan oleh fasilitator wilayah (faswil) di masing-masing desa. Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know the potential of agro-tourism in Lembah Gumanti, Solok rejency. The type of this research is qualitative research in using observation method, interview and dokumnetasi. Determination of informant using Snow-ball Sampling the are: head of tourism pfficial, 2 persons from agriculture official, 5 farmers and local community in Lembah Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti, solok regency. This research concluded: 1) strength is the temperature are clean, the sufficient clean water, fertile soil, State of the State of nature, the area is thick with customs. The process of planting and harvesting vegetables, fruit and flowers still traditional. 2) Beside that, the opportunities is agro tourism at Lembah Gumanti distrisk, the presence of local community organizations to support agro tourism, there are lot of supporting tourist attractions in Lembah Gumantiss district, Solok Regency..Keywords: Potention, attraction and agro tourism1

Abstract

The background of this research is the perception of the people of Bagot Village towards Bagot Tourism Village in Samosir Regency which started from the problem that Bagot Village has not been optimized to become a tourism village. And the purpose of this study was to find out how the people of Bagot Village perceive Bagot Tourism Village in Samosir Regency. There are 3 (three) indicators that are seen, namely cognitive, affective, and conative. This type of research is descriptive qualitative data by determining the sample using purposive sampling. The informants of this study were 8 (eight) people. Data collection techniques in research using observation, interviews and documentation. Qualitative data analysis techniques using three ways, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The research results show that 1). community knowledge of the tourist village, where the community can understand and know the conditions around the tourist village and the problems that occur in the tourist village. 2). From an affective perspective, the people who have been interviewed have responses that show a good attitude towards tourist villages, and 3). From a conative perspective, the community has shown concern for the tourist village, but according to the observations of researchers, the actions taken by the community are only for their own or personal interests.

Abstract

Batu Basurek is one of the cultural tourist attractions in Tanah Datar Regency that has high historical value. As a tourist destination, Batu Basurek attracts both domestic and international tourists to learn more about the culture and historical heritage. However, the facilities at this location still do not meet the standards that should be possessed by a cultural tourist attraction. This research aims to analyze the level of importance and performance of tourist facilities in Batu Basurek.This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach, where a questionnaire is used as a data collection tool. The analysis technique applied is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to measure the gap between the level of importance and the performance of tourist facilities. This research was conducted from January 14 to 20, 2025, with a total sample of 131 respondents.The research results show a gap between visitor expectations and the actual condition of the tourist facilities. The Total Suitability Index (TSI) of 152% indicates that the performance of the tourist facilities still needs improvement. Some attributes that require primary attention are hotels (69%) and prayer rooms, toilets, and trash bins (66%), as despite being considered important by visitors, their performance is still inadequate. Meanwhile, the friendliness of the community (73%) and restaurants (68%) show quite good performance and need to be maintained. Tourist attractions (62%) and souvenir shops (63%) provide quite high satisfaction levels, even though their importance levels are relatively lower. As for attributes like travel agents (61%) and information centers (61%), they are not the main priorities for improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the receiving section at The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru. Using a qualitative descriptive method with purposive sampling to select informants, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data were transcribed and analyzed using Nvivo software. The findings reveal that the receiving section has implemented SOP related to the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in accordance with hotel standards. However, several procedures were found to be inadequately executed, indicating gaps between the SOP guidelines and actual practice.
