Abstract

ABSTRAK. Sebuah penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan konsentrasi  dan waktu aplikasi EM4 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai serta interaksinya terhadap produksi cabai pada tanah Entisol.  Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Pola Faktorial dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah konsentrasi EM4 terdiri dari 3 taraf:  5, 10, dan 15 ml liter-1 air dan waktu aplikasi terdiri dari 3 taraf: 1 minggu, 2 minggu dan 3 minggu setelah tanam. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang umur 15, 30 dan 45, serta berat buah selama tiga kali panen.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi EM4 berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 45 HST.  Waktu aplikasi EM4 berpengaruh terhadap berat buah pada panen pertama, kedua, dan ketiga. Terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara konsentrasi dengan waktu aplikasi EM4 terhadap berat buah panen ketiga. The Effect of Concentration and Application Time of EM4 on Growth and Production of Chilli (Capsicum annum L.) in Entisol SoilABSTRACT. A research was conducted to study effect of concentration and application time of EM4 on growth and production of chilli in Entisol soil  and interaction between these factors. These experiment was performed using a randomized complete block design with three replications. There were two factors studied, namely concentration of EM4, consisting of 3 levels: 5, 10 and 15 ml L-1 of water. The second factor was  application time consisting of 3 levels:  1, 2, 3 week after planting. The observased  parameters are plant height at 15, 30 and 45 day after planting (DAP),  stem diameter at 15, 30 and 45 DAP and fruit weight for three times harvesting. The results showed that concentration of EM4   gave a significant effect on plant height at 45 DAP. Application time of EM4  gave significant effect on the first, second, and third time harvesting. There was significant interaction between concentration and application time of EM4 on fruit weight at the third time harvesting.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk N dan P serta media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah. Ada 2 faktor yang diteliti yaitu dosis pupuk N dan P terdiri dari 4 taraf: tanpa pupuk, 0,21 + 0,21, 0,26 + 0,32, dan 0,32 + 0,42 g/pot. Faktor media tanam terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu: tanah Entisol tidak tercemar tanpa isolat bakteri, tanah Entisol tercemar tanpa isolat bakteri dan tanah Entisol tercemar diberi isolat bakteri. Peubah yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, diameter pangkal batang, jumlah polong, berat polong dan jumlah polong bernas pertanaman, berat basah dan kering berangkasan tunas, berat basah dan kering berangkasan akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah terbaik dijumpai pada perlakuan dosis pupuk N dan P 0,32 + 0,42 g/pot (90 kg urea + 120 kg SP36/ha). Selanjutnya pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah terbaik dijumpai pada media tanam tanah entisol tidak tercemar tanpa isolat bakteri. Pertumbuhan dan hasil kacang tanah pada tanah tercemar hidrokarbon diberi isolat bakteri lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan tanah tercemar hidrokarbon tanpa isolat bakteri. The Growth and Yield of Peanut (Arachis hypogeal L.) by Affected Nitrogen and Phospate Fertilizers on Growing Media of Hydrocarbon ContaminatedABSTRACT. This study aims to determine the effect of N and P fertilizers and growing media on the growth and yield of peanut plants. There are 2 factors studied were N and P fertilizer consists of 4 levels : no fertilizer , 0.21 + 0.21 , 0.26 + 0.32 and 0.32 + 0.42 g / pot. Factors planting medium consisting of 3 levels: Entisol uncontaminated soil without bacterial isolates, entisols contaminated soil without bacterial isolates and soil contaminated Entisol given bacterial isolates. Parameters observed that the plant height, stem diameter, number of pods , pod weight and number of pods pithy planting, wet and dry weight of shoots, wet and dry weight of roots. The results showed that the best peanut plant growth observed in the treatment of N and P fertilizer dose of 0.32 + 0.42 g / pot ( 90 kg urea + 120 kg SP36/ha). Furthermore, growth and yield of peanut plants best observed in growing media entisols uncontaminated soil without bacterial isolates. Growth and yield of hydrocarbon contaminated peanuts given bacterial isolates better when compared with hydrocarbon contaminated soil without bacterial isolates.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis tanah dan dosis FMA terhadap sifat kimia tanah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Keutapang, Kecamatan Syamtalira Aron, Kabupaten Aceh Utara, sejak April  sampai Oktober 2013.  Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial. Faktor pertama yaitu jenis tanah: Ultisols  Buket Rata, Inceptisols Reuleut dan Andisols Saree. Faktor kedua yaitu dosis Fungi Mikoriza Arbuskular yang terdiri dari enam taraf : 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, dan 50 g pot-1. Peubah yang diamati adalah pH, N-total, P-tersedia dan KTK tanah pada umur tanaman kedelai 45 HST. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara mandiri jenis tanah mempengaruhi nilai pH, P-tersedia dan KTK,   jenis tanah dengan tingkat kesuburan tanah rendah yaitu tanah Ultisols Buket Rata. Pemberian dosis FMA mampu meningkatkan nilai pH, p-tersedia dan KTK dibandingkan tanpa pemberian FMA. Interaksi antara jenis tanah dengan dosis FMA berpengaruh terhadap N-total tanah. Tanah Inceptisols Reuleut dengan pemberian dosis FMA 20 g pot-1, Andisols Saree dengan pemberian dosis FMA 40 g pot-1  mampu meningkatkan N-total tanah. The Effect of Soil Type and Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi Doses on Soybean of  Soil Chemical PropertiesABSTRACT. The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of soil type and Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi doses on soybean plants of  soil chemical properties.  The research was conducted in  Keutapang village Syamtallira Aron  subdistrit  Aceh  Utara from April  to  October  2013.  The  experimental  design  was  factorial randomized completely block design. The first factor was soil types: Ultisols from Buket Rata, Inceptisols from Reuleut  and Andisols from Saree. The second factor was  AMF doses consisted of six levels: 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50  g  per pot. Variables measured were pH value, total-N, available P, and CEC soil at the age of soybean plants  45 days after planting. The results showed that soil type gave significantly effect to pH value, available P and CEC soil. We also found that soil type with low soil fertility levels are Ultisols from Buket Rata. FMA dosing increased the pH value, available P and CEC compared to without giving FMA. There was a significant interaction between soil types with FMA doses on soil total nitrogen. Inceptisols from Reuleut with FMA dosing 20 g per pot and Andisols from Saree with FMA dosing 40 g per pot is able to increased the soil total nitrogen.

Abstract

Effect of Germination Medium From Sands of Tsunami and Deep Planting on the Vigor of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata STURT.) Variety Manise-1ABSTRACT. The research was conducted in Seed Science and Technology Laboratory, Agriculture Faculty Syiah Kuala University from February until June 2005. The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of germination medium from sands of tsunami, deep planting and interaction between these factor on the vigor of sweet corn seed var. Manise-I. Factorial type of Completely Randomized Design with three replications was used in the experiment. The factor germination medium consist at three levels; river sand, sands of tsunami sand, washed tsunami sand; whereas deep planting factor consist of 2, 3, and 4 cm. The research result show that germination medium from sands of tsunami had high significant different on all parameters which consist of growth potential, germination ability, growth velocity, growth sincronization, and seedling vigor. Deep planting had high significant different on the all of parameters. There were no significant different on interaction between germination medium and deep planting on all of observed parameters.
