Abstract

Perusahaan asuransi merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang melindungi nasabahnya dari suatu kejadian yang tidak diinginkan di masa yang akan datang. Perusahaan asuransi jiwa harus menyiapkan dana cadangan manfaat untuk diberikan kepada nasabah, jika nasabah mengalami risiko kematian di masa yang akan datang. Oleh sebab itu, perusahaan asuransi harus mengelola dana cadangan manfaat agar perusahaan tidak mengalami kerugian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghitung besar premi bersih tahunan dan menghitung besar cadangan manfaat pada asuransi jiwa berjangka. Metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung nilai cadangan manfaat adalah metode retrospektif. Hasil perhitungan premi bersih tahunan menyatakan bahwa besar premi bersih tahunan untuk nasabah yang berusia lanjut lebih besar daripada nasabah yang berusia lebih muda untuk jangka waktu yang sama. Sedangkan nilai cadangan manfaat asuransi akan terus meningkat pada awal kontrak asuransi dimulai dan nilai cadangan asuransi akan terus menurun menuju nol pada akhir kontrak asuransi. Hal ini dikarenakan pada awal kontrak asuransi pendapatan perusahaan yang diperoleh dari pembayaran premi bersih tahunan akan lebih besar daripada jumlah manfaat yang harus dibayarkan.

Abstract

Banyaknya pegawai yang akan pensiun dalam sebuah instansi pemerintah yang disebabkan pensiun dini, meninggal atau cacat merupakan hal yang sulit diprediksi, sehingga instansi tersebut harus mempersiapkan dan memperhitungkan pembayaran secara periodik bagi pegawai dalam bentuk program dana pensiun berupa iuran normal dan kewajiban aktuaria terhadap pria dan wanita. Metode yang digunakan adalah Entry Age Normal (EAN) dan Projected Unit Credit (PUC). Hasil perhitungan yang diperoleh nilai iuran normal dengan metode Entry Age Normal selalu konstan setiap tahun, tetapi dengan menggunakan metode Projected Unit Credit nilainya bertambah dengan pertambahan masa kerja. Nilai kewajiban aktuaria dengan metode Entry Age Normal dan Projected Unit Credit menunjukkan hasil semakin meningkat dengan pertambahan masa kerja, namun peningkatannya lebih tinggi dengan metode EAN pada pertengahan tahun. Metode EAN lebih baik dari sisi peserta dan metode PUC lebih baik dari sisi perusahaan. It is difficult to predict the number of employee that are going to retired in a government institution because of several factors such as early retirement, death or disability. Therefore such an institution need to prepare and calculate a pension plan  that pay their employee pension periodically such as normal cost and actuarial liability for both woman and men. This research aims to determine the normal cost and the actuarial liability of civil servants (PNS. The method used in this article are entry age normal and projected unit credit. The result of normal cost by using entry age normal method is constant every year, while using projected unit credit method the value is increase as the years of work increase, but the increase is higher when using entry age normal method on mid of years of work. Therefore the entry age normal method is better from the employee side while the projected unit credit is better form the institution side.

Abstract

Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) is one of complex optimization problem that is difficult to be solved, and require quite a long time for a large number of cities. Evolutionary algorithm is a precise algorithm used in solving complex optimization problem as it is part of heuristic method. Evolutionary algorithm, like many other algorithms, also experiences a premature convergence phenomenon, whereby variation is eliminated from a population of fairly fit individuals before a complete solution is achieved. Therefore it requires a method to delay the convergence. A specific method of fitness sharing called phenotype fitness sharing has been used in this research. The aim of this research is to find out whether fitness sharing in evolutionary algorithm is able to optimize TSP. There are two concepts of evolutionary algorithm being used in this research. the first one used single elitism and the other one used federated solution. The two concepts had been tested to the method of fitness sharing by using the threshold of 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75. The result was then compared to a non fitness sharing method. The result in this study indicated that by using single elitism concept, fitness sharing was able to give a more optimum result for the data of 100-1000 cities. On the other hand, by using federation solution concept, fitness sharing can yield a more optimum result for the data above 1000 cities, as well as a better solution of data-spreading compared to the method without fitness sharing.

Abstract

This research showed the application of Proportional, Integral, and Derivative (PID) control system on heat equations that has non-integer ordered solutions on Laplace domain. Zala tuning method and Ziegler-Nichols method; which is ultimate cycle and process reaction method, are used to determine the value of Kp, Ti and Td as constants in PID to maintain the temperature of 1oC on the position of x = 3 m from the heat source with k = 0,042 m2s-1 diffusivity. Based on the results, there were ten systems that were closest in the desired criteria. With regards to overshoot and the time taken to reach the stable position, therefore the ten systems that are produced have not many differences in strengths and weaknesses.
