Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This research examined the synergy of transformational and servant leadership character, which was suitable for Islamic boarding schools' perspective as an Islamic typology. Background Problems: The study of transformational and servant leadership has only focused on the business sector from a western perspective, which tends to be productivity-oriented. Meanwhile, the spirit of the two leadership characters is on morals and human, which have never been reviewed in empirical studies, especially in the perspective of Islam and in the context of Islamic boarding schools. Novelty: The synergy of transformational and servant leadership formed a new model which was inclusive perspective leadership of Islamic boarding school. Research Methods: This research used single case study approach with an exploratory descriptive design. Data collection was done by in-depth interviews with several informants who were selected purposively and through snowball sampling. The data were analyzed by using interactive models. Finding/Results: The results showed that the conformity of transformational and servant leadership could be implemented in the leadership in Islamic boarding schools. The leader of the Islamic boarding school can be a transformational leader as well as a serving leader. Islamic boarding school as an organization has a mission of change in the context of transformational leadership with modes of serving in the context of servant leadership. The synergy of these characters could potentially be an inclusive leadership model. Conclusion: The two models of leadership must be used simultaneously in leadership in Islamic boarding schools. The resulting combination will manifest the message of the mercy of Islamic leadership.

Abstract

On the basis of a library research study of various library items related to communities and schools that are clashed with multicultural terminology, this paper has been prepared. According to the approach, the data collecting techniques utilised in this study are documented procedures, in which data is gathered through documents referred to as library materials. Content analysis is used to analyse the data gathered in this study. It emerged that multicultural schools and communities are institutions of higher education that recognise the existence of a wide range of distinct identities in the community and are prepared to accept all of them

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik keuangan terhadap economic performance pada perusahaan food and beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Berdasarkan pembahasan dan analisis data, maka dapat ditarik beberapa kesimpulan sebagai berikut: a) Secara simultan variabel Struktur Modal, Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, Valuation, Pertumbuhan dan Investasi Modal Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap economic performance; b) Secara parsial Struktur Modal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap economic performance; c) Secara parsial Likuiditas tidak berpengaruh terhadap economic performance; d) Secara parsial Profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap economic performance; e) Secara parsial Valuation tidak berpengaruh terhadap economic performance.; f) Secara parsial Pertumbuhan tidak berpengaruh terhadap economic performance; g) Secara parsial Investasi Modal Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap economic performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of perceived organizational support, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), and the role of organizational commitment in mediating influence between perceived organizational support and job satisfaction on OCB of teachers of Islamic boarding high schoolin Tulungagung. This study useda census method by distributing questionnaire to the entire population of 150 teachers. Data was analyzed using a partial least square approach. The results showed that the perceived organizational support does not significantly affect OCB,job satisfaction affects OCB, perceived organizational support affects organizational commitmet, job satisfaction affects organizational commitment, organizational commitment affects OCB, perceived organizational support affects OCB through organizational commitment, and job satisfaction affects OCB through organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of ethical leadership, compensation, and organizational culture on employee performance. This research is quantitative with a sample of 42 employees through the census method. The multiple linear regression analysis showed several results. First, ethical leadership has no significant effect on employee performance. Second, compensation has a significant impact on employee performance. Third, organizational culture has a significant negative impact on employee performance. Although the results contradict previous studies, ethical leadership, compensation, and organizational culture still have an essential role in achieving employee performance. The results provide positive implications for improving employee performance through applying for compensation and work culture. However, the implementation of work culture needs to be accompanied by other variables such as good corporate governance.

Abstract

Murabahah merupakan salah satu kontrak dalam transaksi keuangan syariah yang memiliki proporsi paling besar dalam dari semua transaksi keuangan syariah di Indonesia. Malangnya, penetapan harga murabahah masih menjadi masalah terkait dengan kepatuhan syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan membedah sistem penetapan harga kontrak murabahah di salah satu bank syariah di kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang melibatkan staf dan dokumen-dokumen pemasaran Bank dimaksud. Pada akhir penelitian, ditemukan bahwa sistem penetapan harga pada kontrak murabahah identik dengan sistem bunga pada operasi bank konvensional.  Sehingga, di akhir bagian  artikel  ini, direkomendasikan solusi alternatif untuk menghitung penetapan harga.

Abstract

For the advancement of organizational leadership practices, the Islamic spiritual leadership model is critical. Particularly, to bridge the gap between the principles of Islamic teachings and their application, such as in Islamic banking. This study seeks to determine the implementation of Islamic spiritual leadership and its influence on Bank Syariah Indonesia. For the research design, I used exploratory descriptive with a holistic single-case design focus. The selection of informants was carried out using purposive and snowball sampling, while the data were obtained through in-depth interviews. The obtained data were further analyzed using an interactive model which had previously been triangulated. The study results show that the Islamic spiritual leadership model can be applied in Bank Syariah Indonesia with an inclusive cultural approach to facilitate the employee to participate in various activities, inducing their sense of pride. Besides, Islamic spiritual leadership's positive principles inherently inspire people, both internally and externally, which fosters the employees’ sense of community and belonging. These values increase organizational commitment, social sensitivity, and life satisfaction.

Abstract

Saat ini media sosial telah menjadi pemasaran yang efektif untuk berkomunikasi secara interaktif dengan konsumen. Bahkan media sosial memiliki peran penting dalam Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui penerapan media sosial dan manfaat media sosial terhadap perkembangan UKM TARAJUNIK (Tas Rajut Unik). Beberapa manfaat paling nyata dari penggunaan media sosial adalah 1) sebagai kontak pribadi dengan konsumen, 2) sebagai galeri produk, 3) sebagai media promosi, dan 4) sebagaidasar pengambilan keputusan bisnis. Selain manfaat tersebut, beberapa manfaat lain yang dirasakan adalah menyampaikan tanggapan kepada konsumen, survei pelanggan, forum diskusi online, pendataan kebutuhan konsumen, dan lain-lain.

Abstract

Social entrepreneurship (SE) merupakan perspektif baru tentang nilai tambah sosial selain tujuan keuangan dan lingkungan dari peran kewirausahaan untuk siklus berkelanjutan. Untuk memadukan berbagi peran tersebut, diperlukan upaya mempromosikan nilai-nilai SE secara integratif dan berkesinambungan. Kegiatan pendampingan SE ini mengarah pada tujuan tersebut pada praktik SE di berbagai bisnis yang berafiliasi dengan pondok pesantren Sidogiri, Pasuruan. Kegiatan pendampingan SE ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan secara terpadu melaui pre-test, post-test dan pengujian statistik. Hasil program pendampingan SE terintegrasi mengarah pada keseimbangan dalam bidang CSR, orientasi BOP, kegiatan SE lainnya dan nilai-nilai spiritualitas dalam entrepreneurship. Keseimbangan nilai-nilai SE yang tercermin dalam “holistic blended value” ini menjadi distingsi pengembangan SE dalam perspektif bisnis berbasis pondok pesantren di Indonesia. Penilaian pre-test dan post-tes mengindikasikan pemahaman secara komprehensif nilai-nilai dalam SE. Hasil pengujian statistik menunjukkan bahwa program pendampingan SE memberikan kontribusi positif bagi peserta dengan tingkat perbedaan yang signifikan.
