Abstract

Watershed (river basin) is a hydrological unit. DAS holds water, distributes water through a channel system from upstream to downstream, and ends in a body of water in the form of a lake or sea. Watershed is also an ecosystem, where the elements of organisms and the biophysical environment and chemical elements interact dynamically and in which there is a balance. DAS is seen as a unit of territorial unity where rainwater collects into a river to become a river flow. The factors that influence the characteristics of the watershed are morphometric factors and the biophysical aspects of the watershed. Watershed morphometry is a quantitative measure of the natural characteristics of the watershed, namely the geomorphological aspects of an area. This characteristic is related to the process of draining (drainage) of rainwater that falls in the watershed including the shape of the watershed, the area of the watershed, the density of the river (drainage), and the flow pattern. River flow is greatly influenced by the biophysical conditions of the Kambang watershed. Analysis of the biophysical conditions of the Kambang watershed includes analysis of soil types, land use, topographic conditions including slopes and contours, as well as the quality of Kambang river water. Considering the strategic designation of the Kambang watershed should be aligned with the watershed character.

Abstract

Camphor resin has been harvested since the seventh century from west coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. This historic oil or crystal have been collected from sumatran camphor trees (Dryobalanops aromatica) and utilized as fragrance, antibiotic, topical treatment for pains, and aromatherapy. The paper describes the local wisdom of camphor essential oil, phytochemical content, and potential utilization for herbal medicine. Conventionally, camphor crystals are harvested through felling and log splitting. This method produces about 1.5–2.5 kg of crystals. Extraction of camphor is also possible by making notches in standing tree trunk, as well as collecting liquid resin that exudate from wounded resin channel. The leaves biomass contains significant essential oils, especially fresh-young leaves. This volatile compound is distilled at 0.46–0.73% yield. The essential oil compounds include a-pinene, b-caryophyllene, 1.8-cineole, limonene, and p-cymene. For aromatherapy application, camphor oil has a relaxing fragrance offer relief to congested respiratory system thereby boosts immune system. In topical uses, it relieves inflammation, insect bites, itching, irritation, rashes, and muscular aches and pains. Local wisdom revealed camphor oil for digestive problems treatment, bloating, relieve muscle and joint pain intensity. The compound 1.8 cineole has potential as antiviral, expectorant, and prospective for respiratory and blood vessels treatment.

Abstract

The global pandemic Covid-19 encourages peoples to improve their immune system. Both healthy food and regular exercise, good immunity can be achieved from healthy and relaxing mind, including through aromatherapy. This is in line with increasing awareness in holistic and organic medicine. The objectives of study are to develop aromatherapy products based-on sumatran camphor, styrax, and eucalypts essential oils; and to identify consumer preferences for innovation products. A conjoint analysis was operated to determine consumer preferences. The active compounds contained in essential oils combination are including a-pinene, 1.8-cineole, limonene, b-caryophyllene and p-cymene. The combination and presence of similar active compound harmonize aroma with minimal contraindications and produce refreshing and relaxing aromas. The 1.8-cineole is known as anti-fungal, antiviral which offer relief to congested respiratory system, thereby boosts immune system. Moreover, p-cymene has been identified to reduce anxiety, nervousness, and relaxing the mind. Based on conjoint analysis, aroma has the greatest influence on consumer preferences. The most preferred profile is aromatherapy product which soft-refreshing aroma, roll-on package, volume 6 ml, at price of Rp 35,000. Aroma is influenced by personal’s perceptions, which related to initial recognition of certain scents as olfactory memory.

Abstract

Game Surival Shooter adalah game yang pemainnya mengalahkan semua musuh yang menghadangnya untuk bertahan hidup agar mencapai titik puncak keberhasilan dari suatu misi. Di dalam permainan untuk mengumpulkan score yang dicapai berdasarkan misi yang ada dengan mengalahkan semua musuh yang menghampirinya, tetapi musuh pun ikut menyerang sampai darah pemain habis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan hasil perhitungan aksi NPC yang sering terjadi. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan perilaku NPC adalah Markov Chain yang dimasukan di Finite State Machine. Uji coba implementasi Markov chain ke Finite State Machine pada perilaku NPC sesuai dengan desain output perilaku yang didesain sebelumnya, yaitu patrol, mengejar dan menyerang player. Hasil Pengujian dari 10 data kondisi player yang berbeda perilaku NPC adalah NPC Patrol 60%, NPC Mengejar 20% dan NPC 20% Menyerang.

Abstract

Saat ini penggunaan cloud computing merupakan hal penting dalam suatu sistem penyimpanan file dan sharing file.Penggunaan USB flashdisk untuk penyimpanan file dan sharing file memerlukan kontak fisik langsung antara komputerdengan flashdisk dan harus dilakukan satu persatu. Selama ini staf pengajar dan mahasiswa Politeknik NegeriLhokseumawe menggunakan flashdisk untuk berbagi data dan modul bahan perkuliahan. Dalam penelitian ini tujuanyang ingin dicapai yaitu menghasilkan sebuah sistem cloud computing menggunakan embedded system raspberry pisebagai media penyimpanan dan sharing file. Hasil pengujian Quality of Service dengan menggunakan dua usermenunjukkan persentase rata-rata bandwith throughput 1,543 MBit/sec, rata-rata Delay 314 ms, dan rata-rata Jitter114,53 ms.Kata kunci : Cloud computing, Embedded system, Quality of Service
