Abstract

This study aimed to (1) describe the moral values in the novel “Ceplik” by Nanang Al-Qos, (2) describe social values in the novel “Ceplik” by Nanang Al-Qos. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The approach used is a sociological approach. Data collection method that used in this research is using read and note method. Data analysis techniques used in this research are identifying data, classifying, describing, and reviewing. The results of the study are four aspects of moral values related to God which are sincerity, praying, patience, and worship. The five aspects of social values are love, forgiveness, politeness, deliberation, and responsibility. The results of this study are planned as teaching materials for high school. Keywords: moral values, social values, novel, high school teaching materials Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan nilai moral dalam novel “Ceplik” karya Nanang Al-Qos, dan (2) mendeskripsikan nilai sosial dalam novel “Ceplik” karya Nanang Al-Qos. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sosiologis. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu mengidentifikasi data, mengklasifikasi, mendeskripsikan, dan mengkaji. Hasil penelitian tersebut berupa nilai moral yang berhubungan Tuhan yaitu ikhlas, memanjatkan doa, kesabaran, dan beribadah. Nilai sosial lima aspek berupa kasih sayang, saling memaafkan, kesopanan, musyawarah, dan tanggung jawab. Hasil penelitian ini direncanakan sebagai bahan ajar SMA. Kata kunci: nilai moral, nilai sosial, novel, bahan ajar SMA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar bermain drama dengan model SAVI (Somatis, Auditori, Visual, dan Intelektual) sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran drama bagi siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dengan sumber data dan kebutuhan prototipe bahan ajar siswa dan guru SMA. Untuk memvalidasi kebutuhan prototipe bahan ajar drama dilakukan uji pakar dan uji lapangan. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap bahan ajar bermain drama dengan model SAVI secara keseluruhan modul pembelajaran layak untuk dikembangkan dengan aturan kebahasaan yang baik dan tampilan bahan ajar pada gambar yang lebih menarik Sedangkan penilaian prototipe oleh ahli diperoleh hasil kategori baik. Adapun penilaian rata-rata yang diberikan oleh tiga orang guru dengan model dan aspek yang sama juga menghasilkan kategori baik Berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan guru, maka nilai rata-rata prototipe bahan ajar bermain drama dengan model SAVI termasuk kategori baik. Maka berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan guru, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan guru. Hasil akhir penelitian ini berupa prototipe bahan ajar bermain drama sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran drama dalam bentuk buku ajar. Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the structure of the Tiger novel! Tiger! 2) The social background of the Tiger novel! Tiger! 3) Cultural background of the Tiger novel! Tiger! 4) Religious background, and 5) Educational value in the Tiger novel! Tiger!. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a sociological approach to literature. Sources of research data consisted of objective data sources in the form of text data, genetic data sources in the form of author biographies and informants by conducting interviews with observers and literature lovers. Based on the results of the analysis of this study it can be concluded as follows: 1) The structure of the novel "Tiger! Tiger!" Mochtar Lubis's work with Themes, no matter how small the crime that is stored, will be exposed as well. Mandate: Life is most important believe in God and yourself. Language style uses personification. The plot / plot of this novel uses a plot / plot forward and backward. Characterization / Characteristics of good and evil doers. The setting / setting was built in the middle of a wilderness. 2) Social background is Belief in customs, superstitious ties, marriage, about leadership, religious life, and social harmony 3) Cultural background is a matter of marriage that is not based on genuine love and affection 4) Religious background is upholding religious value to repent before dying 5) Educational value of the Tiger novel! Tiger! Is the value of strong friendship and high tolerance.Abstract is written in English in maximum of 200 words in italics with Times New Roman 11 point. Abstract should be clear, descriptive, and should provide a brief overview of the problem studied, the method how to solve the problem and the result(s). Abstract preferably end with a comment about the importance of the results or conclusions briefly

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan buku ajar dalam perkuliahan Apresiasi dan Kajian Drama Berbasis Kebudayaan Brebes dan menguji keefektifan buku Apresiasi dan Kajian Drama bagi mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan model penelitian one group pretest-postest design. Jenis eksperimen ini menggunakan satu kelas dengan perlakuan tes awal sebelum dilakukan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai awal (pretest) terdapat nilai yang belum tuntas sebanyak 20 mahasiswa dan nilai akhir (postest) tuntas semua. Hasil uji keefektifan penggunaan buku ajar berdasarkan tabel independent samples test menyatakan adanya perbedaan signifikan hasil pretest dan postest. Dengan demikian, buku ajar mata kuliah Apresiasi dan Kajian Drama Berbasis Kebudayaan Brebes efektif digunakan dalam perkuliahan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of cartoon puppet learning media on short story writing skills (short stories). Used in this study is the experimental method. The subject matter used in the research is the material for writing short stories (short stories). This study was analyzed by using the hypothesis test paired sample t test and independent sample t test. The results obtained from the paired sample t test Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The calculated t value is 15,783 and the t table value is 2,086. This shows that the value of t count 10,883 > t table 2,086. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average value between the results of the pretest and the average value of the posttest results in the experimental class. This proves that there is a significant influence from the use of cartoon puppet learning media on the short story writing skills of students in class XI SMK Negeri 1 Kersana. The results obtained from the independent sample t test test the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The calculated t value is 16,900 and the t table value is 2,021. This shows that the t arithmetic value is 16.900 > t table 2.021. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average value between the posttest results of the experimental class (using cartoon puppet media) and the average value of the control class posttest results (not using cartoon puppet media). This proves that there is a significant influence from the use of cartoon puppet learning media on the short story writing skills of students in class XI SMK Negeri 1 Kersana. Descriptively, there is a difference in the average posttest score for short story writing skills in the experimental class (using cartoon puppet media) with the average posttest score for the control class short story writing skill (not using cartoon puppet media). This is indicated by the average value of the posttest results of the experimental class which is higher than the average value of the posttest results of the control class. The average value of the control class posttest results is 65.24; while the average value of the posttest results of the experimental class is 87.86.

Abstract

Layar Terkembang adalah novel yang termasuk dalam novel Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana dan diterbitkan pertama kali pada tahun 1937 oleh Balai Pustaka. Novel itu berkisah tentang dua bersaudara antara Tuti dan Maria yang sama-sama mahasiswa kedokteran Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral yang berkaitan dengan manusia dan Tuhan, hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri, dan hubungan manusia dengan manusia dalam novel Layar Terkembang karya Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana. Penelitian ini kami menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak dan catat yaitu dengan cara menyimak dan membaca Novel Layar Terkembang. Dari penelitian tersebut ditemukan 3 nilai moral yaitu 1) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan tuhan tentang mempertanyakan tentang agama dan bertakwa kepada tuhan 2) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendri terdiri dari 9 sikap yaitu, semangat, jujur, tidaak mudah kagum,sikap toleransi, sikap disiplin, kerja keras, tanggung jawab, kreatif, rasa ingin tahu 3) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan manusia yang terdiri dari 3 sikap yaitu, sangat mencintai maria, sangat menyayangi yusuf, selalu menyemangati dan menghibur maria, dan kasih sayang dan perhatian seorang ayah pada anaknya.

Abstract

Seringkali para guru SMA kesulitan mengadakan karya sastra dalam pembelajaran tentang unsur intrinsik dan nilai pendidikan sehingga hasil kajian tentang topik tersebut dapat menjadi solusinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan  unsur intrinsik, nilai pendidikan, dan implikasi novel Kami Bukan Sarjan Kertas karya Jombang Santani Khairen dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan strukturalisme. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Uji validitas data dilakukan dengan triangulasi teori dan metode. Data dianalisis dengan metode heuristik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan novel Kami Bukan Sarjana Kertas Karya Jombang Santani Khairen  (1) merepresentasikan struktur pembangunyang meliputi tema tentang realitas sosial, alurnya majut, tokoh utamanya Ogi dengan beberapa tokoh tambahan, latar utamanya kampus UDEL, sudut pandang yang digunakan adalah orang pertama dan ketiga, gaya bahasa yang dominan adalah ironi, dan amanatnya semua orang berhak memiliki mimpi; (2) memuat nilai pendidikan  religius, jujur, dan tolong menolong; dan (3) kajian  ini dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah menengah atas dengan Kurikulum 2013 pada kompetensi dasar menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan novel dan merancang novel atau novelet dengan memperhatikan isi dan kebahasaan baik secara lisan maupun tulis.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the development of Indonesian language learning, especially in language skills. Another purpose of holding learning evaluations is so that teachers can find out the extent of students' abilities in learning, and can improve learning so that later students can improve more in learning. Evaluation of learning in schools, especially in SMA, SMK, and SMU, is considered important for improving students' learning abilities, especially in class X SMA, evaluation of the progress of student achievement needs to be observed as a whole because at this time after graduating from Junior High School (SMP), students go on to high school (SMA), will the abilities of the students still follow them when they are still in junior high school or have they started to develop when they go to high school. In this research method the author uses a quantitative descriptive method by collecting various data, objects and observations around which are put together. The results of the important role of evaluating Indonesian language learning in language skills in class X, are reflected in the 4 Indonesian language skills, namely: listening skills, writing skills, reading skills, speaking skills.

Abstract

This study generally aims to determine the level of success and ability of students to practice writing poetry through the application of the synectic model. In particular, this study aims to determine the effect of applying the synectic learning model on the ability to write poetry for class X students of SMAN 1 Wanasari. The research was conducted using an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research was conducted on class X students at SMAN 1 Wanasari Brebes. The research population consisted of 6 classes with 256 students. The research sample was taken as many as 2 classes with cluster random sampling technique. Data obtained by test consisting of pretest and posttest. Data analysis used the t-test formula with prerequisite tests including normality and homogeneity tests. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, this study concluded that there was an effect of the synectic learning model on the ability to write poetry in class X SMAN 1 Wanasari, Brebes Regency.
