Abstract

A change partially saturated soil conditions(unsaturated) becomes saturated(saturated) as a result of the changing seasons will cause problems in the geotechnical field. Changes in water contentdue to precipitation, evaporation and evapotranspiration will affect the soil shear stress. Partially saturated soil behavioris more complex than the saturated soil. The extent to which the influence of matric suction value, a measure of the soil saturated portion of the soil shear strength changes the purpose of this study.       The soil type is silt kelempungan used in Unggaran Sta18+600. Specimens made by field density(γd, field) with variations in water content. Measurement of matric suction values was conducted using filter paper which refers to the ASTM D5298-03. Direct shear testing performed by water content variation store present changes inthe value o fmatric suction.      According to the USCS , the soil including soil type MH with field water content in the soil subgrade 50.7 % did not meet highway subgrade . The relationship between water content and degree of saturation and matric suction can be described through the SWCC curve fitting and estimates contained in SoilVision 4.19. SWCC fitting is suitable for use while Brooks and Corey Fredlund and Wilson PTF suitable to represent the SWCC curve estimation . SWCC curve estimates are quite far from the experimental data to test the filter paper still needs to be done .SoilVision program is very useful for describing both the SWCC curve fitting and estimation methods . From the research , it was found that the water content contained in the soil will affect value of matric suction , shear strength parameters of the soil and its CBR value.The higher water content or degree saturation of the soil , the more  value of matric suction , the soil shear strength parameters ( cohesion and angle of friction in )as well as its CBR value will fall.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPalembang dengan jumlah penduduk 1.7 juta jiwa tidak luput dari masalah transportasi. Sistem satu arah yang diterapkan pada tanggl 6 november 2017 merupakan manajemen transportasi yang baru diterapkan di Kota Palembang guna mengurai kemacetan yang sering terjadi pada simpang lima DPRD, Palembang. Dalam hal ini Jalan Pom IX merupakan jalan yang turut menjadi bagian dari sistem satu arah diberlakukan. Kajian ini dimaksudkan sebagai masukan bagi instansi terkait dalam untuk evaluasi manajemen masa akan dating. Metoda yang dipakai adalah pengamatan lalulintas kendaraan langsung pada ruas jalan yang bersangkutan dan sekitarnya Dari hasil kajian terhadap karakteristik lalulintas dan kapasitas pada ruas jalan POM IX kota Palembang menghasilkan hasil volume kendaraan pada jam puncak sebesar 2808,85 smp/jam pada titik pertama, 2874,65 smp/jam pada titik kedua, dengan kecepatan pada masing-masing titik 22,12 km/jam dan 17,70 km/jam serta kepadatan 126,95 smp/km dititik pertama dan 161,48 dititik kedua, dengan derajat kejenuhan sebesar 0,47 dan 0,49 pada masing- masing titik. Disertai hambatan samping yang tinggi sehingga memperoleh nilai tingkat pelayanan C yang memiliki karakteristik arus stabil dan kecepatan yang dikontrol oleh lalulintas. Dengan demikian penerapan sistem satu arah pada ruas jalan POM IX layak diterapkan sesuai dengan hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

Di Desa Air Putih Kecamatan Bengkalis Riau, khsususnya di wilayah Pelabuhan Ro-Ro Penyeberangan dari Pulau Bengkalis ke Sungai Pakning (daratan sumatera) memiliki permasalahan pendangkalan di area dermaga nya. Hal ini tentu menjadi masalah bagi pemerintah dan akan merugikan masyarakat dalam keberlangsungan dan kelancaran arus pergerakan penyeberaengan yang menghubungkan pulau Bengkalis dan daratan sumatera. Untuk itu penulis ingin mengwetahui jenis tanah di wilayah pantai Ro-Ro penyeberangan agar dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan mengeani material yang diangkut dan menjadi sedimen di wilayah dermaga tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan survey di lapangan dan melakukan serangakian penggujian di Laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Sipil Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis. Pengujian yang dilakukan antara lain adalah kadar air tanah, berat jenis tanah, analisa saringan dan hydrometer, indeks plasitisitas tanah. Sampel tanah yang diambil adalah tanah di wilayah pantai yang mengalami permsalahan pendangakalan dari surut terendah hingga pada posisi pasang tertinggi masing-masing diambil mengguakan hand boring. Berdasarkan hasil analisa uji distribusi ukuran butiran tanah > 90 % lolos saringan No. 200, nilai Bj berkisar 2,58 – 2,65, nilai PL < 30, dan nilai IP diatas 11. Seperti yang disebutkan pada klasifikasi AASHTOO bahwasanya tanah ini tergolong ked lam A-7-6 yakni tanah berlempung.

Abstract

This activity background to support the officer of Ihsan Sukajaya mosque, Sukarame, city of Palembang in design the infrastructure development. Hence, It considers better learning facilities. The steps are site visit, pra-design processes, detail engineering design, and budget planning. Field surveys are used to collecting data in a particular foundation area and analyze the existing condition. This result is a basic planning process to design the detailed drawing and cost estimate. The result of community service is a detailed drawing of mosque infrastructure development such as the main building of Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran, library, and office. This includes the budget planning
