Abstract

Globally, obesity has entered the epidemic proportion, with at least 2.8 million people dying every year due to obesity, for Indonesia itself the incidence of obesity has also increased significantly in every region with Jakarta's first ranking of 11.4%. The purpose of this study was to describe the life experiences of people who are obese in Bulukumba Regency. The method in this study uses qualitative research (cases) and takes a sample of 6 respondents with obesity. The data in this study were collected through in-depth interviews on selected subjects and analyzed using thematic analysis. The analysis results obtained four themes, namely (1) Knowledge, (2) Diet, (3) physical activity (4) Paradigm. The conclusions and suggestions of this study are the level of knowledge, diet, physical activity and a person's perspective on obesity greatly influence the incidence of obesity. Researchers suggest that future researchers dig deeper into the causes of obesity.

Abstract

The main disease Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). Covid-19 is classified as a new virus for the human body's immune system so it does not have a natural immune system can fight the virus. Seeing the ease with which Covid-19 is transmitted and the high and increasing cases is of particular concern to health workers who are at the forefront of treating patients, especially nurses. Nurses as one of the health workers who provide services to patients in the hospital for 24 hours are at high risk of infection. Based on data from the Health Influence Index for Health Workers as of 21 July 2020,ratio of deaths medical personnel and health workers compared to total confirmed Covid-19 deaths in Indonesia has reached 2.4% and one of highest compared to other countries. Emergency and Special Isolation Rooms, like it or not, have an obligation to be ready to be at the forefront of struggling with a virus that is very deadly and can infect them, not to mention the condition of fatigue and nutrition that they even have enough of while busy caring for patients. their immunity decreases so that it is easier for the virus to enter to attack the immune system in these nurses. Efforts to prevent and transmit Covid-19 to nurses, one of the health workers, must be carried out and tightened to minimize the continued rise of Covid-19 cases in health workers. The Indonesian Ministry of Health has issued a Guide to Balanced Nutrition During the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine with certainty that fat and carbohydrates are factors that influence the incidence of obesity in the youth of Bulukumba community. adolescents. Method: Case control study with a total of 155 subjects, cases are people with obesity (IMT/U > +2SD) and controls are people with non-obesity. Independent variables are carbohydrates and fats that they consume. While the dependent variable is the incidence of obesity. Data analysis using Chi-Square test and logistic regression. Results: Factors that are significantly associated (p<0.05) and become causal factors the risk of obesity cases in the community is that fat (OR = 2.34; CI: 1.19-4.57) and carbohydrates (OR = 2.64; CI: 1.34) which were significantly influenced. Conclusion: the youth who have excessive intake of macro foods with high carbohydrate and fat content are more at risk of obesity.

Abstract

Menurut WHO pasien Diabetes Melitus pada tahun 2018 mencapai 425 juta orang. Latihan jasmani merupakan bagian dari penatalaksanaan DM.  Kombinasi senam merupakan salah satu latihan jasmani yang berpengaruh terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa pada Diabetes tipe 2 dan pencegahan terjadinya luka diabetik serta memperlancar peredaran darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan kadar gula darah sewaktu sebelum dan setelah mengikuti senam dengan Gerakan kombinasi pada pasien Diabetes Melitus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre eksperimental dengan menggunakan pendekatan one group pre test post test. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara sebelum diberikan perlakuan variabel diukur terlebih dahulu (pretest) setelah itu diberikan perlakuan berupa senam (senam kaki dan senam peregangan) lalu diukur kembali setelah diberikan perlakuan (postest). Tehnik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat dan bivariate dengan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan Wilcoxon.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata kadar glukosa darah sewaktu sebelum intervensi yaitu 177,58 mg/dl dan setelah intervensi mengalami penurunan yaitu 152,76 mg/dl. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan intervensi kombinasi gerakan senam memberikan perubahan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien Diabetes Melitus tipe II. Hasil Uji Wilcoxon didapatkan nilai p=0,000 (p ≤ 0,005), Ho ditolak atau ada perbedaan rerata bermakna kadar glukosa darah sebelum dan setelah pemberian intervensi kombinasi gerakan senam pada pasien DM. Terdapat perbedaan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien Diabetes Mellitus sebelum dan setelah mengikuti senam dengan gerakan  kombinasiKata kunci: Diabetes Melitus, glukosa darah, kombinasi senam.

Abstract

Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases in the world. Where cancer can occur is caused by the growth of body tissue cells that are not normal. Breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy often experience side effects from chemotherapy which can cause a disturbed quality of life.The existence of side effects of chemotherapy on breast cancer patients and the lack of research that discusses the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, so researchers are interested in conducting this study. Purpose: To analyze the biological, psychological, social and spiritual conditions of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy regarding the quality of life in Bulukumba Regency. This study uses a qualitative study (phenomenology) and the number of samples is 5 respondents with the criteria of respondents are breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. The data in this study were collected through in-depth interviews on selected subjects and analyzed using Thematic Analysis. Researchers found 4 themes from the results of data analysis. The themes are: (1) physical health condition, sub-themes: Lethargy, decreased appetite, disturbed sleep patterns and fatigue. (2) psychological changes, sub-themes: feelings of anxiety and worry, lack of confidence. (3) family support, sub-themes: positive support, forms of support, and coping mechanisms. (4) spiritual activities, sub-themes: worship and surrender activities. There are 4 themes obtained in this study. It is hoped that breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy will increase their motivation, so that their quality of life will increase.

Abstract

Background: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), stunting is defined as a growth factor that describes the failure to achieve growth potential as a result of suboptimal health and/or nutritional status, chronic nutritional problems caused by a lack of food for a long time, usually because the diet does not meet needs. nutrition. The problem of stunting starts in the womb and is not realized until the child is two years old. The prevalence of stunting in Bantaeng district is 5.84% and there is a high prevalence of stunting in local health centers at 211 (25.53%) and the highest prevalence of stunting in villages is in Bonto Tallas, namely 55 and the lowest is at Bisappu Community Health Center at 0 .58% (Dinkes 2023). Objective: to find out whether there is a relationship between mother's knowledge about food presentation and children's appetite Method: This research is quantitative research with a cross sectional method Results: the results of the Kolmogorof alternative chi squere test obtained a value of p= 0.023 (p<= 0.05) so it was concluded that there was a relationship between mother's knowledge about food presentation and changes in children's appetite. Conclusions and suggestions: there is a relationship between maternal knowledge and appetite in stunted children. The results of this research theoretically can be expected to provide additional knowledge and theory towards the development of nursing science to conduct further research related to the relationship between maternal knowledge about food presentation and appetite in children. stunted children
