Abstract

This paper aims to analyze and examine how the figure of the kiai as the head of the Islamic boarding school manages the Islamic boarding school by modernizing management. Which leadership is required to have the ability to carry out innovations that are no longer relevant to the current situation in order to achieve the vision and mission of Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study type. Data collection procedures through observation, interviews, and documentation. As well as data analysis used with data reduction, data display and data verification. The research focus in this study is: How is the kiai's leadership pattern in the modernization of pesantren management. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study type. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that: The Kyai's Leadership Pattern in the Modernization of Islamic Boarding School Management consists of three main elements, namely: exemplary nature (Uswah Hasanah), attention to subordinates and service taining.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Knowledge Management (KM) and Product Innovation on Business Performance, with Absorptive Capacity acting as a mediating variable. Focusing on SMEs in the food and beverage sector in West Java, Indonesia, the research employs a quantitative explanatory approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) on data from 400 respondents. The findings reveal that Product Innovation significantly enhances strategic Absorptive Capacity, which in turn strengthens financial control and positively affects Business Performance. In contrast, Knowledge Management shows no direct or mediating impact on either Absorptive Capacity or Business Performance. These results emphasize the importance of the indirect pathway from Product Innovation to financial control as a key mechanism for improving organizational performance. The study contributes theoretically by integrating critical variables into a unified conceptual framework and offers practical insights for innovation-driven strategies to boost SME competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Tasawuf, dalam konteks historis, merupakan bagian tak terpisahkan (integral) khazanah ilmu-ilmu keislaman. Dalam perkembangannya, baik sebagai sebuah konsep pemikiran maupun sebagai sebuah praktik dan gerakan, membutuhkan dan mengembangkan satu sistem pendidikan yang khas di mana persoalan spiritual mendapat tempat paling dominan. Pada gilirannya, perkembangan ini melahirkan lembaga-lembaga pendidikan sufi yang merupakan fenomena besar dan tidak mungkin diabaikan dalam kajian sejarah pendidikan Islam. Diantara lembaga tersebut ada tiga jenis terpenting yang menjadi bahasan ini: ribâth, zâwiyah dan khanqah.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an memberi gambaran yang sangat variatif tentang manusia dengan berbagai macam penyifatannya. Dengan adanya berbagai sifat negatif atau kelemahan yang dimiliki manusia, maka diperlukan langkah-langkah efektif dan upaya solutif untuk meminimalkan potensi negatif sekaligus berusaha untuk memaksimalkan potensi positif melalui pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, tugas dan fungsi pendidikan dalam Islam adalah untuk membimbing dan mengarahkan manusia agar menyadari esensi dan eksistensi dirinya. sehingga secara esensial ia akan mampu untuk memposisikan diri sebagai ‘abd Allâh, dan secara eksistensial ia mampu mewujudkan tugas sebagai khalîfah Allâh.
