Abstract

One measure of the success of an employee in carrying out his job is his election as an exemplary employee in the agency where he works. The selection must of course be based on standard measurement and objective assessment, the goal is that the predetermined results can be justified. A decision support system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method can help PPKH Garut regency in determining exemplary PKH socialworker in each sub-district PPKH unit, this method will look for weight values for each predetermined criterion consisting of quantity, integrity, dedication, reliability, initiative, diligence, attitude, motivation and presence. The data sample taken in this research was PPKH X Sub-distric, where the results of the research are in the form of a ranking that can support the decision to choose an exemplary PKH social worker in PPKH Garut Regency

Abstract

The use of computer technology and information systems in the 20th century has been widely used, including companies. The advantage of using an information system in the company is that it can provide data management media in the company's business processes where it is very necessary for effectiveness to be achieved. The Verbasar section is one of the sections in Perum Peruri which is in charge of checking the printouts of banknotes, with around 100 employees. There are still problems in the management and storage of data on the results of money checks in the Verbasar Section. The problem is the use of Microsoft Excel as a media for data management and storage which is considered not optimal. Therefore, a web-based application for data management results from Verbasar Section money checks was built as a substitute for the old system so that data management and storage became more optimal in the process and reports. In making this application, researchers used data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and literature studies. SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Waterfall model is used for system development method with UML (unified modeling language) as modeling tools to develop information system design. The expected result is that the management of money audit results data can provide a better system than the old system in terms of data management

Abstract

The development of increasingly modern technology has been widely used by humans in all aspects, be it education, defense, health, psychology, communication and so on. This is inseparable from the role of technology which makes human work easier, faster and more accurate. The election of the student council president is one of the activities that must be carried out by SMAN 25 Garut every year. Currently the method of selecting the student council president is carried out using conventional techniques, namely voting by punching ballots, then calculating the results of the recapitulation manually. This technique is in fact ineffective and inefficient because it requires a lot of resources. To answer these problems, an electronic voting (e-voting) system is proposed. E-voting is seen as being able to answer these problems because it can facilitate and speed up the voting process and vote counting so that the spent resources can be minimized. The e-voting system was built using the system development life cycle (SDLC). Which consists of identification, analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation. The testing phase was carried out by observing, interviewing, and studying literature. The results of the analysis were then analyzed, then designed using UML modeling. Meanwhile, the application program is designed using the CodeIgniter framework, the PHP programming language and the MySQL database. Based on the results of research and testing, it is concluded that the e-voting system is more effective in terms of implementation, and more efficient in terms of costs, personnel and implementing personnel.

Abstract

Selection of majors that are not in accordance with the qualifications possessed by students at Senior High School Negeri 1 Garut will be one of the inhibiting factors while the student is in college. To minimize such conditions, a decision support system is needed that can analyze student profiles with the profiles of existing majors. The goal is that the majors chosen by students are in accordance with their qualifications. The profile matching method or GAP analysis is the method used in this study. With GAP analysis, the gap between student profiles and majors profiles can be identified. The smaller GAP value is higher the match level, and vice versa. Meanwhile, the recommended major that has highest recommendation value. Based on the results of research conducted on a student named Roihana Asfahani, recommended majors based on value of knowledge, skills, talents and interests in these students are majors in the psychology with a recommendation value of 16.96.

Abstract

The information system currently used at SMP Binar Ilmu Boarding School (BIBS) is only local. The applications used are still not integrated, and have different platforms and database types. This will greatly affect the speed and reliability in carrying out the process of collecting, storing, searching and processing data and also distributing information to school management.The purpose and objective of this research is to analyze the business needs of BIBS as a whole and align it with the school's strategy in order to create an integrated information system with the EAP method so as to produce a clear blueprint to support school governance in the use of information. Enterprise architecture planning is carried out by analyzing business processes at BIBS which include 3 main business processes, namely: New Student Admission, Teaching and Learning Process, and Student Graduation. As well as 3 supporting business processes, namely: Islamic Boarding School Management, ICT Management, and Counseling and Women's Talent Interest Development Management. The results of the research carried out are planning for school information system architecture at BIBS, in the form of recommendations for information system architecture development.

Abstract

Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Garut is currently still experiencing difficulties in managing information related to social welfare services, so it is necessary to strive for better information management, one form of implementation is by implementing a computer-based information system and technology. In information technology there are three interconnected parts, namely: hardware, software, and databases. Planning an integrated information system architecture and in accordance with the organization's business goals is one of the efforts to improve services in a better direction so that they can compete with other organizations. This study discusses the architectural planning of social welfare service information systems using Enterprise Architecuter Planning (EAP) which was developed and integrated with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF at Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Garut, where the discussion is focused on four stages, namely: business architecture planning, data architecture planning, application architecture planning, and technology architecture planning. The results of the research that has been carried out are recommendations for the development of information system architecture to support the improvement of public service performance and system integration into all parts of the organization.

Abstract

English is an international language that has been used almost all over the world with the number of speakers increasing every year. According to The Ethnologue, currently the number of English speakers has reached 1.45 billion people. With these facts, English is a language that should be mastered by everyone in the current era. However, there are still many people who find it difficult for various reasons. By utilizing the development of information systems and information technology in the modern era, the author intends to design an interactive web-based English learning media information system, where the system design method used is Kanban with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling tools. The programming language used is PHP, Laravel framework, and MySQL database. From the design results obtained an interactive learning software equipped with pictures, audio, video, animation, and exercise, so that it is hoped that it will be able to improve students' English skills.

Abstract

In determining a potential life partner, each individual must have certain types or criteria, where one important aspect that must be considered is socio-economic status. Every married couple certainly hopes and wants to form a sakinah, mawaddah and warahmah family. By using a decision support system that can process data on the socio-economic status of a potential partner, each individual will get an overview of the best potential partner from the available alternative potential partners. One method that can be used is the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART). Based on the results of research that has been conducted with the criteria of education level, type of work, income level, amount of savings and number of siblings, it can be concluded that the SMART method is effective for objectively determining prospective spouses.
