Abstract

PT. AI is an industry that moves their business in the agro-industrial sector. One of their products is insecticide that has cypermethrin (hazardous material) and xylene (flammable material) as the main materials in a formulation process. Moreover, PT. AI also use aluminum and corrugated box as the packaging materials. By utilizing Green-VSM (process visualization) and LCA (environmental impact assessment), this study is intended to assess each production process of the insecticide and the environmental impact that is caused by process, material and waste that occurs within each process. Furthermore, the identification of improvement opportunities for reducing environmental impact will be done. Based on this study, the existing condition of the process causes environmental impact towards human health of 0.01 DALY (714 points), ecosystem quality of 361.45 PDF*m2y (20.528 Points) and resources of 5.9 MJ (0.8 points). By analyzing the existing condition there are four improvement opportunities that are identified. The first opportunity is redesigning the current corrugated box design, which reduces the environmental impact for 8.675 points from material use reduction. The second opportunity is having a sorting activity towards the cap of the bottle which reduce environmental impact for 3.548 points. The third opportunity is changing into a new procedure towards the box sealing process which reduces environmental impact for 0.0008 points. The fourth improvement is substituting material towards bottle material (from supplier) packaging into the duplex board which reduces environmental impact for 2.915 points. Those improvements opportunities in total are expected to reduce the environmental impact for 15.138 points.

Abstract

Student Service Centre (SSC) is a center that provides services and information to active students at InstitutTeknologi Telkom Surabaya (ITTS). ITTS provides SSC with academic, student, and faculty services to support its students' academic and non-academic development. One of the main services provided by SSC is the Active Certificate. However, SSC users need help obtaining the letter. This study aims to measure the quality of Active Certificate services using the Lean Six Sigma method and provide recommendations for improvement. The results showed that the quality of SSC services still needs to be improved, with a DPMO value of 289686, a sigma value of 2.07, and the highest negative gap in the Responsiveness dimension. The total Non Value Added time was obtained at 10 hours 31 minutes, and the total Value Added time was 4 hours 8 minutes. Proposed improvements include the deployment of QR Codes to provide information on document requirements and using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to reduce the time spent on non-value added. Lean Six Sigma method can reduce the total value-added time and improve the efficiency of SSC services.

Abstract

Abstrak: Puskesmas Taman memiliki permasalahan terkait kurang kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pemantauan kesehatan berkala, padahal Kecamatan Taman di Kabupaten Sidoarjo memiliki tingkat kejadian penyakit Hipertensi, TBC, dan Diabetes yang cukup tinggi. Terlebih lagi, pihak Puskesmas juga mengeluhkan dokumentasi manual selama ini yang turut memperumit penanganan medis dan pemantauan rutin. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memfasilitasi pemantauan kesehatan di masyarakan Kecamatan Taman sekaligus membantu efisiensi dokumentasi medis di Puskesmas Taman melalui pengembangan dan penyuluhan aplikasi Kesehatanku. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan memberikan sosialisasi, demo aplikasi, dan pendampingan kepada peserta penyuluhan. Penyuluhan dilaksanakan oleh enam orang tim abdimas dan 13 orang peserta dari Puskesma Mitra yang merupakan mitra dalam kegiatan ini. Evaluasi kegiatan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test yang menunjukkan hasil bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan peserta paling tinggi adalah terkait pemahaman monitoring kesehatan, yaitu naik sebesar 8%. Hal ini menegaskan pentingnya keterlibatan dan antusiasme pihak yang teredukasi akan pengetahuan terkait informasi dan teknologi yang tepat dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran kesehatan masyarakat terhadap monitoring kesehatan.Abstract: Puskesmas Taman faces issues related to a lack of public awareness about the importance of regular health monitoring, even though Taman District in Sidoarjo Regency has a relatively high incidence of hypertension, tuberculosis, and diabetes. Additionally, the Puskesmas has expressed concerns about the manual documentation system, which complicates medical handling and routine monitoring. The objective of this initiative is to facilitate health monitoring in Taman District and enhance the efficiency of medical documentation at Puskesmas Taman through the development and outreach of the "Kesehatanku" application. The outreach involves socialization, application demonstrations, and assistance for participants. This outreach is conducted by a team of six community service members and 13 participants from the Puskesmas as partner involved in the project. The evaluation of the activity employs pre-tests and post-tests, which reveal that the greatest increase in the knowledge of the participants is related to understanding health monitoring, with an improvement of 8%. This underscores the importance of involving and engaging the educated parties in relevant information and technology to enhance public understanding and awareness of health monitoring.

Abstract

This study compares the life cycle inventory (LCI) of family card application services conducted online (via the J-SIP application) and offline (conventional) at DISPENDUKCAPIL Jember. The analysis focuses on identifying the environmental impact, particularly the carbon footprint, generated by both service methods. Data collection includes energy consumption, material usage (paper), and transportation emissions at each stage of the process. The results indicate that the online service significantly reduces environmental impact compared to the offline service. The carbon footprint of the online service is 865.6 grams of CO2 lower, representing a 92.3% reduction compared to the offline service. This reduction is primarily due to decreased transportation emissions, as the implementation of digital infrastructure (J-SIP) eliminates the need for the public to travel by motorcycle to submit and complete their applications. These findings highlight the potential benefits of digital transformation in public services in achieving sustainability goals from a carbon footprint perspective.

Abstract

Perkembangan kendaraan listrik roda dua di Indonesia semakin pesat, dengan motor listrik sebagai salah satu pilihan utama karena biaya operasional dan perawatan yang rendah. Motor listrik memiliki tiga komponen utama, yaitu motor, kontroler, dan baterai. Baterai merupakan sumber energi utama untuk mengoperasikan seluruh sistem elektronik motor listrik. Design case baterai juga penting sebagai pelindung baterai. Kondisi awal design case baterai membutuhkan banyak proses perakitan dan pemasangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan usulan design improvement case baterai menggunakan metode Design For Manufacturing And Assembly (DFMA) untuk meminimalkan jumlah proses perakitan dan pemasangan case baterai motor listrik. Penelitian ini menganalisis dan mengembangkan design case baterai motor listrik C70 dengan pendekatan DFMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa design baru berhasil mengurangi total waktu proses dari 6961 detik menjadi 3198 detik dan mengurangi limbah dari 20 gram menjadi 11,5 gram, yang masing-masing mencerminkan pengurangan sebesar 54% dan 42,5%. Selain itu, total biaya produksi turun signifikan dari Rp116.062 menjadi Rp55.294, menghasilkan penghematan biaya hingga 52,3%. Design improve tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses manufaktur dan perakitan, tetapi juga menawarkan solusi yang lebih ramah lingkungan dan ekonomis. Penelitian ini diharapkan berkontribusi dalam pengembangan kendaraan listrik yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan, serta menjadi referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya di bidang teknik industri dan otomotif. Saran untuk penelitian lebih lanjut mencakup pengujian prototype dan eksplorasi penggunaan material alternatif yang lebih inovatif. Kata kunci— case baterai, dfma, improvement, motor listrik

Abstract

Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kota Surabaya adalah sebuah Organisasi Perangkat Daerah yang berfungsi untuk menegakkan peraturan daerah. dalam menjalankan tugasnya diperlukan kualitas pelayanan yang baik untuk masyarakat Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan proses rekrutmen Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Kota Surabaya menggunakan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Masalah utama yang teridentifikasi adalah ketiadaan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang jelas dalam proses rekrutmen. Satpol PP, sebagai institusi yang bertugas menjaga ketertiban dan ketenteraman masyarakat, memegang peran strategis yang sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, kinerja dan efektivitas Satpol PP sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas proses rekrutmen. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai permasalahan dalam proses rekrutmen, termasuk ketidaksesuaian standar pendidikan, fisik, dan usia pada sebagian pelamar. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan SOP yang komprehensif untuk meningkatkan, objektivitas, dan akuntabilitas rekrutmen. Selain itu, pelamar yang tidak memenuhi standar diusulkan untuk ditempatkan dalam divisi yang sesuai dengan kemampuan mereka atau diberikan pelatihan khusus untuk meningkatkan kompetensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan SOP yang terstruktur mampu memperbaiki proses rekrutmen secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan efektivitas dan efisiensi kinerja Satpol PP Kota Surabaya melalui rekrutmen yang lebih terstandarisasi. Abstract

Digital transformation in public services has become a key strategy to improve efficiency, accessibility, and environmental sustainability. The Government of Indonesia has designated the acceleration of public service digitalization as a national priority to realize inclusive, transparent, and environmentally friendly services exemplified by the City of Surabaya, which has implemented massive digitalization efforts since 2019. This study evaluates the environmental impact of digitalizing the “Pindah Keluar” (Out-Migration) administrative service, one of the services provided by the Department of Population and Civil Registration (DISPENDUKCAPIL) in Surabaya, using a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach. The study compares four service system phases: the manual system (SIAK), LAMPID, KLAMPID, KLAMPID during the COVID period, and the fully digital service (KLAMPID Online). The LCA results show that digitalization significantly reduces paper consumption and transportation-related emissions, with the total environmental impact score decreasing from 87.83 mPt in the manual system to 32.67 mPt in the fully digital system. However, digitalization also leads to increased electricity consumption and reliance on digital infrastructure, indicating a shift in environmental burden from the community (in the form of physical activities such as paper use and transportation) to the service provider institution (in the form of energy consumption by digital infrastructure). These findings highlight that achieving sustainable digitalization, from an environmental burden perspective, requires internal system efficiency and the adoption of environmentally friendly energy sources to minimize the total ecological footprint generated by public service providers.
