Abstract

Learning media has a very important role in teaching and learning activities. Learning media is a medium to convey knowledge to students. In the current era of the COVID-19 pandemic, learning media must be able to make students obtain optimal learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to produce learning media in NC machining courses and to determine the feasibility of learning media in NC machining courses. This study uses the Research and Development method with the main subject being students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University who take NC machining courses. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire in the form of a google form. The results showed that the percentage score obtained from material experts was 78.6% and the percentage score obtained from media experts was 72%. These results also show that the media and materials used in the application of NC learning media are said to be valid. In addition, in the small group trial the score obtained was 91.73%. The score also indicates that the application has been felt practical. Likewise in the field trial, where the score obtained is 84.20% or it can be interpreted that the application has been felt practical by the majority of users. So, based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of multimedia-based NC learning media is feasible to use.

Abstract

AbstractThis training aims to provide practical skills for the community Kp. Cinangka, Serang Banten, in general and in particular the alumni of SMK Negeri 1 Cinangka. The skills provided are how to operate a SC 2.2 steam engine and how to wash motorized vehicles, and cultivate interest in entrepreneurship. The training partners are SMK Negeri 1 Cinangka Serang Banten, together and alumni of SMK Negeri 1 Cinangka who have not worked, or are filling the waiting period to be accepted to work where they want. The training methods are; lectures, questions and answers, discussions, through zoom meetings. The training participants received a module on how to use the SC 2,3 steam engine and videos how to operate and maintain the SC 2.2 steam engine and 5.5 HP gasoline engine. The results of the training showed that the trainees were able to turn on a 5.5 HP combustion engine and operate a SC 2.2 steam engine to wash motorized vehicles, were able to work together, were able to communicate and expressed interest in opening a car wash business. AbstrakPelatihan ini bertujuan memberikan ketrampilan praktis bagi Masyarakat Kp. Cinangka, Serang Banten, pada umumnya dan khususnya alumni SMK Negeri 1 Cinangka. Ketrampilan yg diberikan adalah cara mengoperasikan mesin steam SC 2,2 dan cara mencuci kendaraan bermotor, dan menumbuhkan minat berwirausaha. Mitra pelatihan adalah SMK Negeri 1 Cinangka Serang Banten, bersama dan alumni SMK Negeri 1 Cinangka yang belum bekerja, ataupun mengisi masa tunggu di terima bekerja di tempat yang mereka inginkan. Metoda pelatihan berupa; ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, melalui zoom meeting. Peserta pelatihan mendapatkan modul cara penggunaan mesin steam SC 2,3 dan video cara pengoperasian dan perawatan mesin steam SC 2,2 dan motor bensin 5,5 HP. Hasil pelatihan menunjukan bahwa peserta pelatihan mampu menghidupkan motor bakar 5,5 HP dan mengoperasikan mesin steam SC 2,2 untuk mencuci kendaraan bermotor, mampu bekerja sama, mampu berkomunikasi dan menyatakan berminat untuk membuka usaha cuci mobil.

Abstract

Abstract Activity Community Service Program aims to improve competence in managing LMS for teachers. The materials provided include: Basic LMS concepts, introduction to licensed LMS platforms, such as: Moodle, A Tutor LMS, etc. Based on the evaluation of the activities, the following results were obtained: (1) Suitability of Teaching Needs 4,36- (2) Relevance of Teacher's needs 4,28- (3) Coverage of material delivery 4,16- (4) Training methods 4,12- ( 5) Competency of resource persons and clarity of material delivery 4.04 and (7) time allocation 3.64. Most of the participants stated that they were satisfied with the average participant satisfaction with the PKM results of 4.09 Abstrak Kegiatan Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi dalam mengelola LMS bagi guru. Materi yang diberikan antara lain: Konsep dasar LMS, pengenalan plarform LMS yang berlisensi, seperti: moodle, A Tutor LMS, dll. Berdasarkan evaluasi kegiatan, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: : (1) Kesesuaian Kebutuhan Mengajar 4,36- (2) Relevansi kebutuhan Guru 4,28- (3) Cakupan penyampaian materi 4,16- (4) Metode pelatihan 4,12- (5) Kompetensi narasumber dan kejelasan penyampaian materi 4,04 serta (7) alokasi waktu 3,64. Sebagian besar peserta menyatakan puas dengan perolehan rata-rata kepuasan peserta terhadap hasil PKM sebesar 4,09.

Abstract

The purpose of the design of a cyclone dust filter system for biomass pyrolysis is as an alternative to improve the work yield of the biomass pyrolysis process. The cyclone functions as a filter for char and dust with gas produced after the pyrolysis process in the reactor tube, before being forwarded to the condenser and motor. The results of data analysis show that the biomass pyrolysis testing process with the addition of a cyclone dust filter system, the conclusion obtained is that with the addition of this cyclone dust filter system, the results of the biomass pyrolysis process obtained are even better, because the gas that is still mixed with char and dust will be filtered in this process. The test results using wood shavings, corn cobs, and rice husks also showed improvements compared to without using a cyclone dust filter system
