Abstract

Maternity feels anxious and afraid to face the labor process, then the adrenaline hormone will come out and can inhibit the release of oxytocin which is needed for the progress of labor. The purpose of deep breathing relaxation is so that individuals can control themselves when there is a feeling of tension and stress that makes individuals feel in an uncomfortable condition to be comfortable, the purpose of the study is to find out whether there is an effect of deep breathing techniques on the level of anxiety in the first stage of labor at the Aek Goti Public Health Center. district. Silangkitang, Labusel Regency in 2021. This study uses a quantitative research type, the population used is all patients who delivered the first stage of labor at the Aek Goti Public Health Center, Silangkitang district, Labusel Regency which was carried out in August 2021 with a population of 25 mothers during the first stage of labor. sampling technique at the time of the study. Data analysis used Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of this study were the level of anxiety in the first stage of labor before giving the method of deep breathing relaxation techniques at the Aek Goti Health Center, Kec. Silangkitang Labusel Regency in 2021 the majority experienced severe anxiety as many as 11 respondents. The level of anxiety in the first stage of labor after giving the method of deep breathing relaxation techniques at the Aek Goti Health Center, Silangkitang District, Labusel Regency in 2021, the majority experienced moderate anxiety as many as 12 respondents. Conclusion These results prove that there is a significant effect of deep breathing techniques on the level of anxiety in the first stage of labor at the Aek Goti Health Center, Silangkitang District, Labusel Regency in 2021. These results prove that deep breathing techniques can reduce the level of anxiety in the first stage of labor. It is recommended that midwives are able to be directly involved in the process of deep breathing relaxation techniques so that the implementation of relaxation techniques can be carried out optimally by patients.

Abstract

Communication is an individual effort in maintaining and maintaining individuals to keep interacting with others and is an important component in nursing practice. Communication is an effective tool to influence human behavior, so that communication is developed and maintained continuously. Objectives In Research on Therapeutic Communication Relationships with Inpatient Satisfaction at Martha Friska Hospital, Brayan Island, 2018. This study used a cross-optional research design. The population in this study were all inpatients on the 3rd floor, amounting to 20 nurses, with a total sampling technique, the number of smapel in this study was 20 people. The data analysis technique was performed using univariant and bivariant statistical analysis. The statistical test in this study used the chi square formula (kai squared) to estimate or evaluate the frequency under investigation has a significant relationship or not, with a 95% degree of confidence. Based on the results of the study, there is a significant relationship between therapeutic communication and satisfaction of inpatients at the Martha Friska Hospital, Pulau Brayan in 2018, with a p value = 0.001 (p <0.05). For research sites, therapeutic communication training is one of the efforts that must be continuously carried out in maintaining or even further improving the quality of service to patients or the community.

Abstract

Stunting is a major nutritional problem that will have an impact on social and economic life in society. There is clear evidence that individuals who are stunted have a higher mortality rate. Stunting will affect physical work performance and mental and intellectual functions will be impaired (Mann and Truswell, 2012). This is also supported by Jackson and Calder (2004) who state that stunting is associated with impaired immune function and increases the risk of death. So that high protein is needed to stimulate the growth of toddlers with stunting by using foods that have high protein such as anchovies, eels and broccoli. Food and nutrition are factors that are closely related to efforts to improve the quality of human resources. People who have fulfilled their needs with balanced nutritional quality are better able to participate in development. Food and nutrition problems are complex problems and are interrelated with one another. Several approaches are used in determining food and nutritional status assessments by assessing consumption and eating habits as well as assessing the nutritional status of a particular area or group. Each region has food and nutrition problems that are different from other regions. The area where the population lives also determines the consumption pattern of the community (Augustyn, 2002). To fulfill the dietary pattern of children under five requires an innovation in research to fulfill the nutrition of children in the form of naget (libertri) giving programs, namely broccoli, anchovies and eels. The research objective was to identify whether giving nuggets could increase the growth of toddlers with stunting. Research method using quasi experiment Research results There was a significant difference in the mean z-score of TB / U before and after treatment in the group given the libertarian nugget, with a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05). There was a significant difference in the growth of stunting children who were given nuggets and those who were not given nuggets. The increase in the nutritional status of toddlers from very short to short and from short (stunting) to normal, namely 36%. Meanwhile, in the control group there was an increase of 4%.

Abstract

The increase in age has a major effect on life expectancy, especially for women, encouraging the wisdom of the elderly population, the increase in the number of the old population is not only interpreted as an increase in the level of welfare and the increase in health conditions but can also be interpreted as a burden because this old age group is no longer productive. Reproductive health problems need to be widely socialized so that women / future mothers know the reproductive problems they will experience and get a way out of these problems. In addition to the influence of age, another thing that affects reproductive health in women is the reproductive health organs themselves. Without knowing the reproductive health organs well, it is feared that the future mothers will be completely blind and may eventually result in the harmony of the husband and wife relationship. reproductive health is a good state of physical, mental and social well-being, not only free from disease or disability, but also healthy from aspects related to the reproductive system, its functions and processes. Based on the results of previous studies, the total population in Tumpatan Nibung Village, Batang Kuis district, is 6,898 people and 1,100 households this number is part of the total population in batang kuis district, Deli Serdang regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of age on women's reproductive health in Tumpatan Nibung Village, Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used in this study is Mixed Method Research (MMR) which is a research method that is applied and tested in terms of outcomes and processes with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative study population was 250 people, with a sample plan of 158 people. Quantitative analysis in a univariate, bivariate manner using chi-square with multivariate using multiple logistic regression at a confidence level of 95% (α=0.05). The data obtained from the measurement results can be used as an analysis of the next program situation by using test analysis using SPSS on the running system and turning it into an Analysis system as outcomes

Abstract

One of the reasons for the failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding is their perception of insufficient milk production so that they cannot breastfeed their babies optimally. The decrease in milk production in the first days after giving birth is triggered by a lack of stimulation of the hormones prolactin and oxytocin which play a very important role in the smooth production of mother's milk. One of the efforts made to improve the smoothness of breastfeeding is Hypnobreastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Hypnobreastfeeding on the Fluency of Breastfeeding in Postpartum Mothers at Leni Langsa Independent Maternity Homes in 2022 This type of research is experimental research with the research design used being Pre-Experimental with the One Group Pretest-Posttest approach. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers at the Leni Langsa Maternity Home in September 2022 as many as 14 respondents. sampling technique with purposive sampling obtained as many as 12 respondents. Bivariate data analysis used the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of this study indicate that the mean value of each is 2.9167 (Pre) and 5.5833 (Post). The results of statistical tests using the Wilcoxon test are known that the p value (0.001) < (0.05) means Ho is rejected. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant effect of hypnobreastfeeding on the smoothness of breastfeeding in postpartum mothers at the Leni Langsa Maternity Home in 2022. It is recommended for midwives can apply hypnobreastfeeding in overcoming the inability of breastfeeding so that postpartum mothers can exclusively breastfeed without obstacles
