Abstract

ABSTRACT  To reach the goal of learning, teaching media is really crucial in theaching and learning process.The type of teaching media developed is interactive teaching media. It is a kind of multimedia format that is designed in compact disc with the purpose of interactive application in it. Teaching media that is commonly used at school nowadays is powe point. This kind of media still cannot attract students attention yet. Because of this problem, interative teaching media was developed for learning material excretion system at the seccondgrade of senior high school. The purpose of the study was to investigate the validity and practicality of interactive teaching media. This study was research development that used 4D  Models consists of four stages: define, design, develop and disseminate. The research was done at develop stage. Meanwhile, at define stage, the curriculum and student’s analysis was done. The interactive teaching media for learning material excretion system for students it self was designed at stage design. Then, the validity test was conducted at the testing. The practicality was done by two teacher and twenty students of third grade in senior high school. The data was analyzed by percentage technique and presented descriptively. The result of validity test for interactive teaching media reveals that interactive teaching media is valid, 88,65 % based on material aspect, type of media, motivation and language. Moreover, from practicality test, it shows that interactive teaching media is very practical in use, 88,64 % and the results of practicality test from students is 80,9 % (practical). Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that interactive teaching media for learning material excretion system at the second grade of senior high school have fulfilled the validity and practicality criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Effectiveness of Marketing Mix on the Level ofEcotourism Visits in the Oi Marai Area, a tourist attraction in Kawinda To'i Village,Tambora District, Bima Regency. Marketing, which includes a marketing mix strategy, isused as the main tool to attract tourists, focusing on products, prices, places, andpromotions. Using a descriptive research method, researchers selected 48 respondentsconsisting of tourists and area managers using the Purposive Sampling technique. Based onthe results of the study, it was found that the level of effectiveness of Oi Marai tourismmarketing was very high, with an effectiveness ratio reaching 90% and above in 2019-2020and increasing to 100% and above in 2021-2022. Partially and simultaneously, all elementsof the marketing mix were proven to have a significant influence on the level of tourist visits,with a significant value of less than 0.05. These results indicate that the marketing strategyimplemented in Oi Marai was successful in attracting tourist visits and increasing theeffectiveness of local tourism.

Abstract

Panti asuhan Yaumiddin merupakan lembaga sosial yang mendidik dan memelihara yatim piatu dan anak yang kurang beruntung di Kota Balikpapan. Keberlangsungan kegiatan di panti asuhan erat hubungannya dengan ketersediaan air bersih. Saat ini ketersediaan air bersih di panti asuhan masih kurang baik dikarenakan secara visual air yang digunakan terlihat keruh. Dengan fokus pada ketersediaan air bersih yang berkualitas, pengabdian ini mengidentifikasi, melakukan pemasangan, dan pemeliharaan infrastruktur pipa serta sistem filtrasi air yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan panti asuhan. Perbaikan dan infrastruktur aliran air yang dilakukan mampu meningkatkan debit air yang mengalir menjadi 0,3 liter/detik. Hasil pembuatan filtrasi air berhasil meningkatkan kualitas air yang tersedia dengan adanya perbaikan nilai pH yang mendekati netral (7), penurunan nilai pada uji kekeruhan dari 0,994 menjadi 0,126 NTU serta penurunan padatan yang terlarut (uji TSS) dari 178 menjadi 29 ppm.  Kegiatan terakhir adalah melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai prosedur pemeliharaan sistem filtrasi air. Implementasi infrastruktur pipa dan sistem filtrasi air secara efektif meningkatkan akses terhadap air bersih, meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan penghuni panti asuhan, serta mengurangi risiko terpapar penyakit akibat konsumsi air yang tercemar.

Abstract

Dissolved oxygen (DO) is a critical parameter in common carp (Cyprinus carpio) aquaculture, as low DO levels can cause stress, inhibit growth, and lead to fish mortality. Conventional measurement methods, such as manual titration or DO meters, are limited because they cannot provide continuous or real-time monitoring. Therefore, this study aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based dissolved oxygen monitoring system using the Waterfall development method to maintain optimal water quality in carp ponds. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller, a DO sensor, and the Blynk platform as a real-time remote monitoring interface. It continuously measures DO levels, displays data locally on an LCD, and sends automatic notifications when the DO value falls below 5 mg/L. Field testing was conducted for one week at the Rama Graha carp pond, showing that the system achieved an accuracy of 92.7%, an error rate of 7.3%, and a precision of 98%. The developed system effectively supports farmers in maintaining stable water quality and reducing fish mortality. This study contributes to the development of practical, low-cost IoT technology for sustainable freshwater aquaculture management.
