Abstract

The use of website technology in the ticket sales system is the rightstep to improve the company's business processes. The use of thewebsite can have a great impact on the buyers and sellers of tickets,namely with the existence of a website information will be easilyaccessible. However, after successfully carrying out the process ofbuying and selling tickets through the website, the seller needs quitea lot of time or has not been effective in communicating with thebuyers. This problem occurs because buyers use variouscommunication, so the sellers need to use sundry applications toreach all buyers.This ineffective way of communicating can be solved by embeddinga feature on the website, namely push notifications. Seller can usepush notifications to send broadcast messages to their buyerswithout missing anything. All buyers can be reached easily becausepush notifications are embedded directly in the application so thatbuyers do not need to install other applications to communicatewith sellers.The results showed that the ticket sales system with pushnotifications succeeded in increasing the effectiveness decrease thetime of using the application to send messages by 38.4% comparedto using external applications.

Abstract

These days, the organizational activities in the Indonesian Rally and Rallysprint Championship – including timing process are still done manually, and that means the organizers have to work harder to process all these data. One of the consequences is people are having difficulities on following the event wherever they are because lack of concrete source to give all the updates. Because of that, web-based information system have to be made.Basically the system are divided into two – admin and guest website. Administrative rally organizer, media officer and timekeeper have their respective admin site. Second are the website, which show all these data for the public. This system use PHP, MySQL and Laravel to do all these data operation process.Data are organized with controller as access road between program and database, and also used to save all the function, to make sure that aren’t fill the web script. The timing system are done manually, where a timekeeper would stand by on the end of each SS to input all timing data.Overall, this system are running smoothly, although there are many room for improvements, while the data are could be seen on the admin site and the website. In other side, the survey respondent are satisfied with this system.

Abstract

From the increasing interest of the people in Indonesia in the use of YouTube, this has triggered the emergence of content creators who choose YouTube as a medium for work. So that the content creators are competing to produce video works that can be enjoyed by YouTube users. Various methods are used by content creators to improve the quality of the video produced.The process carried out in this thesis is the process of processing raw data that has been collected from YouTube, before the training and classification process. The process of data preprocessing needs to be done to overcome the raw data that is varied and inconsistent so that it can affect the training process and the classification process. Data preprocessing conducted in this thesis includes Tokenization, Stopwords Removal, Stemming. The classification process is the process by which the classification algorithm is run on comments that are used as input data for comments.Applications used in scientific papers have succeeded in producing smoothing values, where the value shows that the comments belong to the classifications of positive sentiments, negative sentiments or non-Indonesian data.

Abstract

In this day, technology is needed in doing many things that can make it easier for humans to carry out their activities. but there are still many things that are still being done manually and that is less effective. Especially in terms of registering as a member in an event at the Petra Christian University. The purpose of this paper is to create a registration system into an event to help students who need organizational credit points and make it easier for an organization to receive its members.The method that will be used is Content-based recommendation systems, which is a system recommendation method that uses data about each product to recommend new products. In making this application will use student data and data about an activity so that the system recommends division to students in accordance with the division that has been followed by a student from previous events.In this paper a website will be created using the Laravel framework and the database using MySQL.Based on the results of the questionnaire it can be concluded that registering as a member using a system created by the author is more effective than registering manually. And when the organizers of the organization will choose which students will be accepted, this will benefit final level students because the list of registrants is sorted by the year the student enters.

Abstract

Since past time until now, people still loves to travel and sometimes when they travel they went to a shopping center store or what we known as a mall. Inside the mall there’re a lot of facilities that wes can use/enjoy like food and beverages stands, utilities shops, clothing lines, and many more. Apart from us of course there’re another subjects that visits the mall including tourists and online taxi drivers. Of course, even them we can’t guarantee that they understand the location of the shops or facilities that they want to visit.The application will help all people who came to a particular mall. To do this, we need a server that can store the maps data and shops inside each mall. After the data collection process, the application will receive an input from the user about a shop / a facility that they want to visit, then after received an input from the user, a data calculation process will be carried out which will be shown the route that has been calculated by the application and then the results will be displayed on the application that has been made. Based on the results of the tests that have been done, the program is quite successful in storing, calculation and displaying which route the user must take.

Abstract

Along with the increasing number of 4-wheeled vehicles (cars), problems related to the availability of parking spaces for cars have also increased. Flow in and out of the car that is not balanced with the capacity of the parking lot. This is because the drivers/visitors do not have information about the availability of parking space before being in the parking lot.In this study, a trial will be conducted to help resolve the problem by implementing internet of things technology at the entrance and exit gates of the parking lot, and detecting the availability of parking slots. Then use a digital payment system with QR Code media for parking payments. Implementation of Internet of Things that is used at the entrance and exit gates is to use infrared sensors to detect the presence of cars at the gate and servo motor to control the parking entrance gate. While Internet of Things technology to detect parking slots is to use ultrasonic sensors. The ultrasonic sensor will always detect and send the status of each slot on the server. Then for the payment system created, will use the QR Code media as proof of parking transactions. The entire technology and system will be integrated in an application, so that it is expected to help the problem of the availability of parking lots and simplify the parking payment process.

Abstract

The use of technology now has begun to spread to the world of education. One of them is the use of E-Learning. In a learning management system, instructors can give assignments, materials, tests, or quizzes to students. But if many people access it, it can cause problems on the server. If the server goes down during an exam, it will be a serious problem because students will not be able to access the server. To overcome this, we need several web servers that are ready to serve users so that computing is not only focused on a web server. This research will test the implementation of distributed database on learning management system. The application will run on Openshift. Distributed databases will use MySQL Cluster by using sharding method that can make data into multiple partitions and stored on multiple database servers. With the implementation of distributed database, it is expected to increase the availability of applications. So when there is a database server down, the application can still be run properly. In addition, this can also minimize the database server to be overloaded because it is accessed by many users.

Abstract

With the development of open-source technology such as Android, it helps new learning media, namely games. Games can be used to introduce something that rarely know such like edible mushrooms. Therefore, so it’s expected that this game can introduce edible  mushrooms.The game application that will be made in the RPG genre runs on the Android operating system with the Java programming language. With the main theme based on edible mushroom,  which all characters in the game are related to edible mushrooms from characters to NPC enemiesThe results of the development of this game show that the game is not only an entertainment media but also can be a medium of learning to get to know something new.

Abstract

Item-based Collaborative Filtering is a method that is usually used for a Recommendation System based on the items that most users choose, because this method can recommend according to the tastes of most users who choose, this method is very effective in time to recommend an item in any form.This study combines Fuzzy Similarity, Item-based Collaborative Filtering, and User-based to produce a recommendation, by calculating the similarity value using Fuzzy Similarity and User-based will make it easier to find the similarity value between users to be processed again using the Item-Based Collaborative Filtering method for recommendations that are suitable for users.The results of this study are 10 Game Recommendations that are in accordance with the implementation of Item-based Collaborative Filtering, Fuzzy Similarity, and User-based which take from the most similar people by calculating the similarity value between users and take the game that is most chosen by users. and the recommendation system works, and from the survey results, it is found that people who try to enter this website do not feel confused about the User Interface, there are also many users who like to play games, and according to the survey, the accuracy rate is quite large.

Abstract

Along with the development of the number of motorcycle that are growing very fast and also the development of information and communication technology which is also high has brought benefits to the development of human civilization progress in the world and in Indonesia, especially smartphone, but problems related to crime, especially against motorcycle theft can also be said to be very high, so it is necessary to design a security system on motorcycle with Android and Arduino that can be commanded by voice.The system is created using an Android smartphone as a voice command input receiver and Arduino as a tool that controls hardware based on commands. This system will send voice commands from Android that have been converted into text with the speech to text method and send commands according to the command input via a message that sent via SMSManager to the SIM800L V2.0 module that installed on the Arduino Uno. Message received on the SIM800L V2.0 module will be processed by Arduino Uno, so that Arduino Uno can control each module installed, such as the buzzer, the GPS (Global Positioning System) module, and the relay as a controller of the security system, contact system, and starter system on motorcycle.Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it shows that this system can work properly to control motorcycle with Android and Arduino in providing a security system for motorcycle which is also equipped with a location feature to determine the location of the vehicle.
