Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze relationships between physical conditions of the working environment and employee well-being as well as to analyze relationships between employee well-being with employee commitment in a profession that deals intensively with high level of job stress. The study uses a quantitative approach and involves 72 respondents of medical employee in Brawijaya Women & Children Hospital at South Jakarta, taking into account its recent operational establishment and a business specialty in women and children healthcare. Data was collected through a survey in 2012 by using questionnaire as a research instrument. We adopt Likert scaling with data analysis technique uses Rank Spearman method. The hypothesis is tested using Z-test. Exploratory factor analysis confirms that the measurement scales used in this study met the acceptable standards of validity and reliability analysis. Furthermore, the Rank Spearman correlation analysis shows two important findings: first, physical condition of working environment is significantly correlated with employee well-being; second, employee well-being is significantly correlated with employee commitment.

Abstract

Quality improvement in public service has become a major concern in government institutions in their effort to provide the public with maximum service. It is also a major concern for Samsat (One-Roof System) institutions in Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi (Jabodetabek). The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality level of the service provided by Mobile Samsat units in Jabodetabek. The study uses the quantitative approach in order to illustrate the gap between consumer expectation of public service and consumer perception of the actual service, based on five dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibility. Measurement results of the five dimensions show that customers find the service provided by Mobile Samsat in Jabodetabek to be unsatisfactory.

Abstract

Economic empowerment in Indonesia is quite dynamically developing, this is also not free from the study of Islamic religious education on Islamic economics. Apart from this, researchers also used YouTube social media for review in this study. The formulation of the research problem is how to commodify an economic perspective in the study of Islamic religious education on social media. This study aims to analyze the commodification of economic perspectives in the study of Islamic religious education on social media. Researchers use a quantitative approach with a survey method where data will be taken from a predetermined population and sample and then a questionnaire to the respondent. The results of this study indicate that the commodification of YouTube content about the economy packaged in Islamic Religious Education affects the attitudes of YouTube users who watch the content. This is evidenced by conducting a regression test with the results that all ha received and accepted are declared good. In addition, economic empowerment in the perspective of Islamic religious education can also increase community economic empowerment and support the economic activities of the Indonesian people.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to examine collaboration between strategic management and economics. These views are intended to challenge both economics and strategists to recognize each others contributions, limitations as well as the opportunities each faces in connecting theory and application. The importance of economic relationships for strategy is a central theme of this paper. Most of important literatures on strategy in the past 20 years are based on well-developed ideas from economics. Understanding robust economic relationships can help us understand why some strategies are well-suited to one set of conditions but not to other. The judicious application of economic principles to a firm’s circumstances can increase the odds of formulating and executing a successful business strategy. There is much to be said for viewing strategy from the perspective of multiple disciplines lenses. But depth of strategic knowledge is as important as breadth. Deep knowledge of any discipline permits the formulation of subtle and powerful hypotheses and development of rich strategies. An advance economics use for analyzing individual and institutional decision making is that it requires the analyst to be explicit about the key elements of the process of strategy. Abstract

This research raised issues on knowledge – based economy (KBE) in Jabodetabekjur, especially Bogor, Depok and South Tangerang. Using qualitative approach, this research examines collaboration involving city governments, college/research institutions, businesses/industries,communities and found the reasons why collaborations for the beneft of KBE in Jabodetabekjur as a learning region has not established yet. The causes are: (1) lack of cohesion in terms of policy/administration, ecology, economics and social system; (2) institutional failure; (3) non optimalregional cooperation; (4) unalignment with the national urban development strategies; and (5) loss of momentum in KBE development. Learning regions can be constructed by analyzing a path or trajectories combined with the potentials of the urban region elements (Academicians, Businesses, Communities and Governments). They can also be constructed via governance approach and development of appropriate organizational models. City’s administrations should take active roles as the initiator of the collaboration process opted by certain types and activities. Strategy and policy – making related to collaboration gave rise to: (1) KBE development themes; (2) vision/ mission statements; and (3) principles of engagement and capacities. Resources gaps were found and can be applied as inputs to build joint projects, namely: (1) incubation and innovation centers; and (2) product innovation promotion center.

Abstract

Health communication has become important after two years of the world experiencing Covid 19. The quality of healthy life in the community is important. New media make good information about maintaining health. However, because of the long period of being in normal healthy conditions, many new media accounts provide incorrect health information. The research question is how effective is health communication in the content of its messages in the new media about health in the post-pandemic period against the healthy living attitudes of its followers? The purpose of the study was to find out health communication in the content of its messages in new media about health in the post-pandemic period towards the healthy living attitudes of its followers. The concepts of health communication, healthy living attitudes, and previous research support this research. Health communication has the dimensions of interpersonal communication and mass communication. A healthy life attitude has cognitive, affective, and conative dimensions. This research method uses quantitative by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The validity and reliability of the measuring instrument is valid and reliable so that it can be continued to the next statistical analysis. The results of descriptive research are of good value to all dimensions, both health communication variables and attitude variables. The analysis of the next two variables is that both have strong effectiveness. The interplay of both variables is considered strong according to the applicable standards according to some literature. This means that the effect of health communication in new media is effective in influencing the life attitudes of the Indonesian people. So the alternative hypothesis of this study is accepted, and the null hypothesis is rejected. The results of this study are related to previous studies. So that it can be utilized by subsequent research and health communication academics. Research suggestions can be developed from other theoretical perspectives and use other methods to enrich the development of health communication studies.

Abstract

Kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengetahui informasi kesehatan dalam kondisi pandemic di media baru dan dapat mengaplikasikan dalam kehidupannya. Literasi komunikasi kesehatan sudah banyak dilakukan oleh seluruh unsur masyarakat. Pertanyaan penelitian adalah bagaimana literasi komunikasi kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia terhadap sikap penanganan kesehatan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk dapat menjelaskan literasi komunikasi kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia terhadap sikap penanganan kesehatan keluarga. Teori dan konsep yang digunakan penelitian ini juga ada beberapa artikel penelitian sebelumnya dalam mendukung penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan responden dari beberapa daerah kabupaten yang ada di Indonesia. Analisis penelitian adalah menggunakan analisis determinan dengan sikap menangani dan tidak menangani kesehatan untuk individu dan masyarakat. Hasil deskriptif semua dimensi dalam literasi komunikasi kesehatan menunjukkan positif dalam semua dimensi dan indicator dalam literasi komunikasi kesehatan. Kondisi pandemic dalam dua tahun belakangn ini menunjukkan masyarakat Indonesia di kota besar sangat peduli terhadap semua informasi kesehatan dalam penanganan kesehatan individu dan masyarakat. Ada beberapa daerah menunjukkan masih belum mengetahui sampai pada mengaplikasnnya kondisi pandemi ini. Maka ketika dilanjutkan dalam analisisi determinan masih menunjukan positif responden penelitian dalam sikapa penanganan kesehatan dan sedikit sikap tidak menangani dalam kesehatan individu dan masyarakat. Saran penelitian kelanjutan penelitian literasi komunikasi kesehatan masih sangat diperlukan dalam menginformasikan sampai mengaplikasikan penuh kondisi kesehatan pribadi dan masyarakat dalam kondisi pandemic.

Abstract

This research focuses on evaluating the policy implementation of Digital Population Identity in Surakarta City, particularly for citizens required to have an E-ID card (KTP-el). Through a series of population organization and regularization efforts, the primary objective of the study is to ensure the fulfillment of population rights and provide legal certainty regarding the legality of population documents. The research employs a qualitative method with a constructivist paradigm and a single instrumental case study approach, conducted at the Surakarta City Population and Civil Registration Office. The study gathers both primary and secondary data relevant to the topic. Descriptive analysis is employed to present an overview of the policy on the implementation of Digital Population Identity in Surakarta City, particularly for citizens obligated to have an E-ID card. The research findings conclude that the policy implemented by the Surakarta City Population and Civil Registration Office regarding the application of Digital Population Identity for citizens with mandatory E-ID cards can be considered successful, particularly in terms of coverage using the applied method. Therefore, this research not only provides a comprehensive overview of the policy but also demonstrates its effectiveness and significant benefits in terms of coverage. This evaluation can serve as a foundation for further improvements or as a reference for other regions planning to implement similar policies in managing digital population identities.

Abstract

Kepuasan pelayanan publik terhadap pelayanan pemerintah masih banyak digunakan dan berguna untuk memberikan informasi kepada pembuat kebijakan mengenai ruang yang mungkin untuk perbaikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kualitas pelayanan dalam penyelenggaraan ibadah haji menggunakan model Hajjsequal pada Jemaah haji Provinsi Daerah Khusus Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan mixed methods yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan metode survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden yang memenuhi kriteria populasi dan sampel penelitian. Responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah 193 Jemaah haji di wilayah Provinsi Daerah Khusus Jakarta. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah probability sampling dengan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui tingkat kualitas pelayanan dalam penyelenggaraan haji dari sudut pandang Jemaah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penilaian kualitas penyelenggaraan ibadah haji 2024 untuk Jemaah Haji Provinsi Daerah Khusus Jakarta menggunakan model Hajjsequal mencakup lima dimensi: kesehatan, bimbingan, akomodasi, transportasi, dan fasilitas lainnya. Untuk seluruh dimensi harus menjadi perhatian pemerintah agar kepuasan Jemaah dapat meningkat.

Abstract

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of construction companies in Indonesia was 197,030 units in 2022. The number was corrected by 3.13% compared to the previous year which reached 203,403 units. In the construction industry, the supply chain is a coordinated and cooperative system consisting of various parties, which contribute to the overall course of the project to achieve project goals in producing construction products. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires via Google Form to 120 respondents who work as leaders of medium-sized construction companies in Jakarta. By using SPSS, descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics were obtained using regression testing. The results showed that in the sample of medium-sized construction companies in Jakarta: a) there is a relationship between Communication Methods and Use Integrated Information Technology with Interfunctional Cooperation; b) there is a relationship between Interfunctional Cooperation and Communication Methods with Interorganizational Cooperation; c) there is a relationship between Interfunctional Cooperation and Interorganizational Cooperation with Supply Chain Performance Outcome.
