Based on industrial competition nowadays, production quality occurs to be the main concern of severals top companies. Method of machine maintenance is a way to incresing their production quality. Nowadays, several companies still using a corrective maintenance to maintain their machine, which is all of machine maintenance only be performed if the machine damaged. This thesis only focus to high frequency stitching machine. This thesis using Reability centered maintenance method to obtain optimum maintenance interval. This method gathers 7 step of data processing, starting from data selection, determinating restricions of the system, descripting the system and function of block diagram, and then FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and LTA (Logic Tree Analysis). The result of this method is a correct maintenance action for critical components that included in condition directed and time directed categories. Qulitative analysis for Reliability Centered Maintenance method includes types indectification of maintenance, cause of damage and the occuring failure. Resul of the research contain several maintenance actions for critical components using condition directed method and critical component replace schedule using time directed method. From the suggested system maintenance simulation with RCM method, downtime can be decrease until 47,83%.

Waste has a negative impact on the environment. Hospital medical waste is a hazardous waste for the environment. Environmental performance measurement systems are used to measure the performance of hospitals in handling waste. The measurement of its environmental performance in the hospital is expected to provide improved sewage treatment systems. AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and OMAX (Objactive Matrix) methods are used to design environmental performance systems at hospitals. The data needed is medical and non medical treatment. Data were collected using pairwise comparison questionnaires. The questionnaire data shows the importance of key environmental performance indicators (KEPI). Results of questionnaires processed using Expert Choice. Expert Choice's output produces weight and consistency ratio. Weighted KEPI results are processed by OMAX method. The OMAX method is used to determine the value of environmental performance. There 41 KEPI aspects of the environment. Based on the results of the environmental performance assessment, liquid waste has the highest weight of 0.229.Â

Eka Surya Makmur is a company that produce plastic bag. For couple years before, this company can't fill the customers demand because the machine capacity. Because of that, the labor working overtime, but still not optimal and effected to financial aspect significantly. That's way, need accurate analysis to minimize the failed effect and increase company income. To solve the problem, its suggest to use Prediction Method to predicted the future quantitatively based on current data. NPV (Net Present Value) is different value between current investment and reseipt net cash in future. IRR (Internal Rate of Return) is current interest level same with current cash flow or cash receipt in first investment. PI (Profitability Index) is ratio between present value proceed with present value outplay. PP (Payback Period) is payback parameter investment. The research result is that machine investment properly to conduct to avoid overtime job, and as financial aspect can increase net income. From financial prediction knew that demand increase 10% every year; NPV = Rp. 94.803.643.788; IRR = 40%; PI = 54,41 %; PP = 0,06 year (21,9 days).

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) PT Indo Pusaka Berau is a PLN work unit that provides electricity to consumers. The problem of the company is the frequent damage to boiler engine components. The company uses corrective maintenance system. On the problem, it is necessary to develop a machine maintenance system with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach. The objective of the study was to select a boiler system maintenance action based on the RCM method and component replacement interval to minimize Total Minimum Downtime (TMD). Results of data processing RCM method, component in category Condition Directed (CD) is El Bow component. Components in Time Directed category (TD) are gland seal steam and check valve. Components in the Time Directed category are calculated for component replacement intervals on TMD criteria. The calculation result from component replacement interval was obtained 37 days for gland seal steam component and 58 days for check valve component. The proposed treatment of RCM method can reduce downtime by 11.33% of the company's maintenance methods.

Perum Perhutani KBM-IK (Kesatuan Bisnis Mandiri Industri Kayu) Gresik is a unit of the organization under the Office of Perum Perhutani Unit II East Java, which is responsible for the implementation of business management in the field of Industi Wood. In the production process, Perum Perhutani has used the modern machining tools. However, due to the negligence of the operator / worker, often causing work accident. Like do not use personal protective equipment, it is often underestimated by the operator. The method used is SHERPA to identify the source of danger while JSA used to provide solutions to the problems faced in companies. Research and calculation of risk score can be known the value of the biggest error lies in the activities taking pieces of the board after the cut using a band saw machine, cutting boards using a machine band resaw and cutting wood with a cross cut machine. The suggested solution is to further improve supervision in each process, conducting training K3 conducted by the management company, give firm sanction for operators who do not wear APD and design tools such as limiting engine band resaw and handle holder on the machine cross cut.

Machines and tools was used to support the production process have the potential effect to cause noise. Noise is the unwanted sound that interfere and endanger health. This research aimed to analyze the effect of noise level on the performance of the employees. Data collection was done by doing direct observation and questionnaires to workers in some sampling points. Processing data using the t test to determine noise level and simple linear regression to determine the effect of noise level on employee performance. Conclusion from data processing it was known that the noise level in the work area Power Plant II showed significant differences with the Threshold Limit Value (TLV) set by the government namely 98.599dB (A), while TLV set by the government for the work area (Industry) is approximately 85 dB (A). Results of simple linear regression analysis indicate that the value of t test was 10.227, this value was greater than t table namely 2.013. Value of significant level is 0.000 less than a 0.05. These results indicate that the noise in the work area Power Plant II had a significant impact on employee performance.Â
