Abstract

ABSTRAKANALISIS TERMAL GARAM CAMPURAN MgCl2-NaCl. Thermal analysis of salt mixture MgCl2-NaCl of various concentrations of NaCl as one of the constituents of the salt mixture, has been carried out using Thermal Gravimetry-Differential Thermal Analysis (TG-DTA). The analysis is aimed to determine the weight change, melting temperature and other phenomena in the melting process. The data obtained will be used as references for nuclear fuel material recycling of the salt mixture by melting method in furnace. Salt mixture MgCl2-NaCl with concentrations of NaCl at 30wt%, 50wt% and 70wt% was analyzed using TG-DTA at a temperature range of 30-600°C and heating rate 5°C/min. The results of the experiments show that dehydration and decomposition of MgCl2.6H2O and melting of MgCl2-NaCl salt mixture have taken place. For the concentrations of NaCl at 30wt%, 50wt% and 70wt%, the total weight changes of the salt mixture are 38,63wt%, 27,74wt% and 16,44wt% respectively, while the melting temperature ranges are correspondingly 429-460°C, 416-455°C and 415,69-446,08°C.FREE TERMS: Thermal analysis, Salt mixture MgCl2-NaCl, Nuclear material recycle

Abstract

Campuran NPK memerlukan pengaturan debit 76,51 %. Campuran POC cukup memerlukan pengaturan debit 50,65% . Keseragaman terbaik pada campuran POC pengaturan katup 50% sebesar 86,05%.Koefisien variasi terbaik pada campuran POC pengaturan katup 50% sebesar 17,2. Sedangkan keseragaman statistik terbaik pada campuran POC pengaturan katup 50% sebesar 82,76 %.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal remedies for denial of default in the civil procedural law system in Indonesia. The main problem raised is how the denial mechanism can provide legal protection for defendants who are not present at the trial, and how the application of denial in judicial practice is related to the principle of fair and speedy trials. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of many civil cases being decided by default due to the absence of the defendant, which then leads to the submission of denial as a means of protecting the defendant's rights. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory approach and case studies. Data were obtained through a literature study of laws and regulations, court decisions, and relevant literature, and analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that denial is an important legal right for defendants to defend themselves against unilaterally imposed decisions. However, in practice, the implementation of denial is often hampered by administrative factors, the defendant's ignorance of their rights, and different interpretations by law enforcement officers regarding the deadline for submitting denial. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen regulations and socialize the mechanism of verzet so that the principle of justice in the civil trial process can be realized optimally.

Abstract

The implementation of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs) 1972 is essential for ensuring navigational safety in Indonesia’s strategic waters, where dense international shipping traffic increases collision risks. Although COLREGs have been widely examined, studies specifically addressing watchkeeping responsibilities and navigational aid utilization on Self-Propelled Barges (SPB) in Indonesian crossing situations remain limited. This study aims to analyze the implementation of COLREGs in preventing collisions on SPB Sainty Giant, particularly during crossing situations. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving three informants consisting of the Chief Officer, Second Officer, and Able-Bodied Seaman, who were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, and were analyzed thematically through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of COLREGs on SPB Sainty Giant remains suboptimal, as reflected in watchkeeping officers arriving exactly at the start of their watch without sufficient handover time, crew fatigue caused by excessive daytime workload, and inadequate radar adjustment to weather conditions, which resulted in small vessels remaining undetected. These findings highlight the importance of watchkeeping discipline, navigational aid optimization, and crew competency in strengthening collision prevention. This study contributes to maritime navigation and safety literature by extending understanding of COLREGs application in SPB operations. The practical implications emphasize the need for shipping companies and ship masters to improve watchkeeping procedures, provide regular Radar ARPA training, and strengthen crew understanding of COLREGs through simulation-based training. Further research is recommended to examine COLREGs implementation across different vessel types and shipping routes in Indonesian waters.
