Abstract

This study is aimed to determine whether the composite score of standard deviation model gives more possibility for the students to pass on the Mathematics exams rather than that the composite score of empiric model which has been used in the schools previously.The research was conducted in one of Secondary Schools in Bekasi District with 143 students as respondents for each component of the undertaken assess-ment, namely: Daily Test, Mid Semester Test, and Final Semester Test. The assortment of the daily test data was done by taking the whole scores taken in one semester during the learning process, while the data of the Mid Semester Test and Final Semester Test were obtained by providing sets of Mathematics tests with 40 items each. The data taken from the three test, then, was used to calculate the composite score by using the standard deviation model (standard deviation formula) and two empirical models (The formula 3:1:1 and formula 2:1:1). The results ofresearch areas follow: (1) the proportion of students who could complete the whole Mathematics lessons in which their composite score was calculated by using the standard deviation formula is more than those whose composite score was calculated by using formula 3:1:1, (2) the proportion of students who could complete the whole Mathematics lessons in which their composite score was calculated by using the standard deviation formula is more than those whose composite score was calculated by using formula 2:1:1, and (3) the proportion of students who could complete the whole Mathematics lessons in which their composite score was calculated by using the formula 3:1:1 is more than those whose composite score was calculated by using formula 2:1:1. The implication of this study is that the calculation ofthe composite score by using the standard deviation can become the alternative for the calculation of the composite score in schools by keeping the homogeneity of data taken from the daily assessment for Mathematics specifically and other subjects in general.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAntenatal Care is one of the priority program of the government in reducing the number of mother death and the number of baby death since the mother death in Indonesia is still high in Asia (Saifudin, 2010). There are a lots of factor infuencing the obedience of pregnant mothers in antenatal care, such as the characteristics of individual involving age, education, economic,  and knowledge (Notoatmodjo, 2012). This research is aimed at knowing the relationship between education level and antenatal care obedience in pregnant mothers in Community Health Center of Gajahan Surakarta. This research applied analytic observational method through retrospective approach. This research was conducted in Community Health Center of Gajahan Surakarta in April 2015. The sample was the pregnant mothers visiting Community Health Center of Gajahan Surakarta in April having more than 36 week gestational age. The sampling used was accidental sampling.The research instrument was the maternal and child health book. The analyzed by Chi Square test. The result of the research shows that there is relationship between education level and antenatal care obedience in pregnant mothers in which X2observation (8.591) is higher than X2table (5.991) and ρ Value (0.014) is lower than (0.05) so Ho is rejected and Ha is received with contingency coeffcient  0.472. The relationship between education level and antenatal care obedience in pregnant mothers. It can be drawn a conclusion that the positive relationship shows that the higher education level the better antenatal care obedience.Keywords: Education Level, Pregnant Mothers, Antenal CareABSTRAKAntenatal care (ANC) merupakan salah satu program prioritas pemerintah dalam upaya menurunkan AKI dan AKB karena Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Indonesia masih tergolong tinggi di Asia (Saifuddin, 2010). Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam antenatal care, diantaranya dari karakteristik individu yang meliputi usia, pendidikan, ekonomi, dan pengetahuan (Notoatmodjo, 2012). Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan kepatuhan antenatal care pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Gajahan Surakarta.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan retrospektif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Gajahan Surakarta pada tanggal April 2015. Sampel yang digunakan adalah ibu hamil dengan usia kehamilan 36 minggu yang berkunjung di Puskesmas Gajahan Surakarta pada bulan April. Teknik pengambilan datanya menggunakan accidental sampling. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan buku KIA ibu hamil. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data Chi Square atau Chi Kuadrat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan kepatuhan ANC pada  ibu hamil dengan X2 hitung (8,591) X2 tabel (5,991) serta pValue (0,014 0,05) sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, nilai koefsien kontingensi 0,472 ada hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan kepatuhan ANC pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Gajahan Surakarta dengan keeratan hubungan sedang.  Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan dengan arah positif hal ini menunjukkan semakin tinggi tingkat pendidikan akan menaikan tingkat kepatuhan melakukan ANC.Kata Kunci: Tingkat Pendidikan, Ibu Hamil, Antenatal Care

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus demam berdarah yang ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti. DBD berpotensi menimbulkan komplikasi serius berupa pendarahan hingga syok yang dapat berakhir pada kematian. Di Desa Mrawan, Kecamatan Mayang, Kabupaten Jember, tingginya kasus DBD dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan nyamuk vektor tersebut. Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember kelompok 77 menjalankan program kerja dengan fokus utama pada sosialisasi pencegahan DBD, pembuatan spray anti nyamuk berbahan alami dari tanaman serai, serta pembuatan lubang biopori untuk mengurangi penyimpanan udara. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi penyuluhan edukatif kepada masyarakat, pelatihan praktis pembuatan semprotan anti nyamuk, dan pembuatan biopori sebagai resapan udara sekaligus media penguraian limbah organik menjadi pupuk alami. Hasil pelaksanaan program menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat sebesar 75%, penurunan konsentrasi udara hingga 60%, serta tingginya partisipasi warga dalam pembuatan biopori dan spray. Program ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi risiko penularan DBD secara efektif melalui pendekatan ramah lingkungan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Temuan ini menjadi model pencegahan berbasis komunitas yang berkelanjutan dan dapat direplikasi di daerah endemik lain.
