Abstract

In Indonesia, home garden have not aequire any much awareness yet. Although this home garden can be a valuable incomes for family if manage in good way. Research and inventory on plant diversity of home garden in Lampeapi village, Wawonii Dictrict, Southwest Of Celebes resulted of 40 species.Those plants are used daily needs and can be used for raising family income such as “onii” Cocos nucifera, “marisa” Piper nigrum, “dambo” Anacardium occidentale, “punti” Musa spp. and coklat Theobroma cacao. Diversity of plants species, as proportion and indigenous knowledge of local people is very interesting to study in order to conserve their germ plasma.

Abstract

Abelmoschus esculentus (L,) Moench. (Malvaceae) is non-indeginous speciesin Indonesia but people in Wawonii Island, Southeast Sulawesi, was long enough traditionally domesticated and used it. The utilization of this plant teds increase but effort on intensively cultivated was still limited. Because of its potency a study of Abelmoschus esculentus especially in relation with daily necessity of people in Wawonii is needed. The status, description and other information related with its utilition were discussed.

Abstract

Indigenous people who live in Gunung Halimun National Park (GHNP) rely their on their traditional life natural resources around them.The ethnobotanical research had been conducted in three villages surrounding GHNP.This research including indigenous knowledge in using plants for their daily life such as for food, medicine, fuel, ritual need etc. Most of the plants can be found wildly.Over harvesting of those wild plant might affect the sustanability the national park. Therefore, the environmental education for indigenous people is needed.

Abstract

Indonesia has diversity of ethnics with various cultural patterns, traditional knowledge and cultural differences, it makes Indonesia become a country with the most cultures in the world. Traditional cuisine is a dish that is consumed from generation to generation with various spices. Traditional cuisine are foods and dishes that have been consumed for many generations. Biodiversity in Indonesia was a source of commercial commodities in the past, that attracted traders, including spices. This research was conducted in Nanggewer Mekar, Cibinong, Bogor. The majority of people are Sundanese, besides Javanese and Betawi. The traditional cuisine found in Nanggewer Mekar, using a lot of spices that can characterize their dish. The spice plants were used for traditional cuisine around 23 species (19 genus and 14 family). The traditional cuisine include: laksa, soto betawi, semur jengkol and served on certain occasions.

One species is a new species described here for the first time and named Freycinetia sumbawaensis A.P. Keim & M. Rahayu.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan, kevalidan, kepratisan dan keefektifan e-booklet interaktif pada materi keanekaragaman hayati kelas VII MTs DDI Tuppu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research & Development (R&D) dengan mengadopsi model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil uji kevalidan dari ahli materi 1 diperoleh persentase 95,23% dengan kategori “sangat valid”, dari ahli materi 2 diperoleh persentase 96,42% dengan kategori “sangat valid”, dari ahli media 1 diperoleh persentase 95% dengan kategori “sangat valid”, dari ahli media 2 diperoleh persentase 91,25% dengan kategori “sangat valid”, dan dari ahli bahasa diperoleh persentase 91,25% dengan kategori “sangat valid”. Hasil uji kepratisan oleh pendidik IPA diperoleh hasil sebesar 95% dengan kategori “sangat praktis”. Adapun oleh peserta didik, diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 90,60% dengan kategori “sangat praktis”. Berdasarkan data hasil belajar pengujian awal pengetahuan peserta didik melalui pre test, diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 42,80. Adapun setelah penggunaan media diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 80,6. Adapun dari hasil pengujian N-Gain, diperoleh skor sebesar 0,66 yang artinya efektifitas penggunaan e-booklet berada pada kategori "sedang"
