Abstract

Chayote (Sechium edule) is a fruit vegetable with nutritional content, which rich in minerals and vitamins. In West Sumatra, precisely in Tanah Datar Regency, Salimpauang District, chayote has become a household product, not only is it processed into vegetables, but chayote is also processed into snacks such as chayote chips. The process of processing chayote is generally still carried out conventionally by the Salimpauang community. To overcome the problem of automatic and remote monitoring of equipment during dough mixing by applying the IoT method. This monitoring system integrated with IoT was created using a NodeMCU 8266 microcontroller device and a TCS3200 color sensor. The TCS3200 color sensor is used to monitor color changes in chayote dough. Apart from that, this sensor is also used to determine differences in the evenness of the dough color. The RGB color of the dough so that the average value for a smooth texture is R>53, G>92 and B>42.

Abstract

Treatment of Spinach, even though it has been given fertilizer, also keep on eye to monitor lots of water when watering. If the soil is too wet it will interfere with the absorption of nutrients needed for spinach growth. The use of technology makes it easy to monitor and control the condition of spinach plants in real time. Good soil moisture for spinach plants is in the range of 45% equivalent to a voltage value of 2.78 Volts to 60% which is equivalent to a voltage value of 2.03V. Meanwhile, soil that is suitable for growing spinach is soil that has a pH between 6-7. Mamdani fuzzy logic method is applied to a microcontroller as a reference in making decisions to regulate the speed of the water pump. There are five levels of pump speed for automatic watering of spinach from very fast to very slow to maintain stable soil moisture. Based on the test results, it is proven that the system can work correctly using Mamdani fuzzy with an error of 0.023%.

Abstract

Health issues commonly faced by the elderly include geriatric syndromes. The impact of these syndromes on older adults can lead to instability (disruption of balance, making them prone to falls) and intellectual impairment. Because of these concerns, monitoring is essential for individuals experiencing geriatric syndromes to prevent symptoms from worsening due to falls. As technology advances, object tracking systems using Global Positioning System (GPS) have developed significantly. However, GPS tracking systems are primarily suitable for outdoor tracking. Thus, there is a need for a method capable of detecting individuals with geriatric syndrome indoors and providing alerts if they fall. This study proposes a multi-room monitoring system for patients with geriatric syndrome to mitigate the adverse effects of falls by implementing an Indoor Positioning System (IPS) that utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and gyroscope sensors for fall detection. The proposed IPS employs BLE technology using the trilateration method. The ESP32 module is selected as the reference point for scanning BLE signals, measuring signal strength (RSSI), and transmitting data to a server for further processing via the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol. The result of the test carried out during indoor conditions showed an average deviation in the x-cordinate of 0.28 meters and y-cordinate of 0.27 meters from the patients actual location.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada pom bensin mini konvensional adalah sistem masih manual, kurang efisien, dan tidak mampu memvalidasi keaslian uang. Penelitian ini merancang prototipe pom bensin mini digital berbasis image processing menggunakan Jetson Nano untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Webcam dengan lampu UV digunakan untuk mendeteksi nominal uang kertas, lalu dianalisis menggunakan algoritma YOLO. Hasil deteksi dikirim ke Arduino Uno untuk mengendalikan pompa, sensor waterflow, serta LCD sebagai penampil informasi. Pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu mengenali uang kertas dengan akurasi tinggi dan mengeluarkan volume bahan bakar sesuai transaksi. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sistem berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan keandalan proses pengisian bahan bakar mini secara otomatis.
