Abstract

Rural development has undergone significant changes since the digitization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Hybrid media technology has proven to make it easier for innovative villages to build networks and empower their communities to narrow the ICT gap, one of which is through community service. This community service is an effort of Gorontalo State University so that the Tridarma of Higher Education is implemented to contribute science and technology to the community. This Community Service was carried out in Tamboo Village, Bone Pantai District, Bone Bolango Regency. The purpose of this Community Service was to provide counseling on how to condition the beginning of a village so that it becomes a digital village. The expected output targets from this activity are: 1) The officials and community in Tamboo Village have knowledge of the importance of the village internet and how to manage infrastructure related to the village internet. 2) Village officials or village internet managers can have the ability to use internet facilities, which can then be developed to create village websites for digitization: village profile data, population data, village resource and potential data and other activities that can be digitized for work effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract

The fermentation process of tempe embus with conventional methods is highly dependent on weather conditions and requires heat energy (temperature) 25°C - 35°C within 36 - 48 hours. This research aims to stabilize the heat energy and reduce the fermentation process time to get quality tempeh production results in a short time. The research method used is the experimental method by making an automatic temperature and humidity controller and testing its performance. This tool works using the DHT22 sensor and ESP32 microcontroller as the control center. Temperature automation is done with two conditions that are used to regulate lights and fans. If the fermentation temperature is lower than the setpoint, the lower light and upper light turn on, if the temperature rises, the upper light turns off and the fan turns on, to keep the temperature within the pre-set setpoint value. This research shows that the temperature and humidity control device operates stably in the temperature range of 32°C to 35°C. At these temperature conditions, the fermentation process runs stably. At that temperature condition, the fermentation process of tempe embus lasts 16 hours, with testing of color, taste, and smell for the best quality category Tempe.

Abstract

Electrical insulators are vital components in power transmission and distribution systems. The performance of insulators is significantly influenced by environmental conditions, including humidity, pollution, and temperature, as well as their material composition. This study reviews several recent scientific publications related to the performance of ceramic, polymer, and composite insulators under various environmental conditions. The analysis indicates that environmental contamination significantly reduces insulator performance, whereas industrial and agricultural waste-based materials, such as rice husk ash (RHA) and fly ash, offer considerable potential as innovative, environmentally friendly solutions. Experimental and simulation methods play a crucial role in understanding the electrical characteristics of insulators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pemanfaatan Geographic Information System (GIS) untuk perencanaan dan optimasi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) rooftop di Gedung Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG) Kampus 4. Dengan pendekatan integratif berbasis GIS dan simulasi teknis mendalam melalui perangkat lunak HelioScope, penelitian ini berhasil mendesain sistem dengan kapasitas terpasang sebesar 368,79 kWp yang menggunakan 647 modul surya tipe Canadian Solar 570W. Berdasarkan simulasi, sistem ini diproyeksikan mampu menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 486,5 MWh per tahun. Analisis teknis mengidentifikasi konfigurasi sistem optimal menggunakan 99 unit inverter Huawei 3kW serta faktor-faktor kehilangan energi. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan kinerja yang sangat baik dengan nilai solar access rata-rata mencapai 99,2% yang mengindikasikan hampir tidak adanya dampak bayangan pada seluruh array. Penerapan GIS dalam pemetaan spasial lokasi memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menentukan potensi atap, tata letak panel yang terbagi dalam 7 segmen field (C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, Civil Lab, Industry Lab), dan efisiensi sistem secara keseluruhan. Selain itu, kajian ekonomi yang didasarkan pada data kapasitas dan produksi energi aktual ini menunjukkan prospek implementasi yang layak dan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model percontohan yang akurat dan siap implementasi bagi pengembangan PLTS rooftop di UNG serta institusi pendidikan lainnya di kawasan Indonesia Timur, mendukung pencapaian target kampus hijau dan net zero emission.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the quality of service, store image, and the atmosphere of the store to consumer buying interest in the company SB Houseware Bukittinggi branch. Samples in this study were taken as many as 100 respondents and techniques used Sampling probability. the data in this study using survey methods through questionnaires filled by consumers. Data obtained from the results of the questionnaire and then processed to then tested by statistics memlalui SPSS program. The results of analysis using simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, determination test (R2), individual significance test (t test), and simultaneous significant test (Test F) so that it can be seen that service quality variables influence consumer buying interest variable, store image have an effect on consumer buying interest variable, shop atmosphere variable have an effect on consumer buying interest variable, and service quality variable, store image, store atmosphere influence simultaneously to consumer buying interest variable. The calculation results are known R Square is the coefficient of determination and obtained R Square value of 0.541. That is, the quality of service, store image, and the atmosphere of the store affects consumer buying interest by 54.1%.Keywords: Service Quality, Store Image, Store Atmosphere, and Buying Interest Konsumen

Abstract

The increasing demand for electricity and the global commitment to carbon reduction have encouraged higher education institutions to integrate renewable energy into campus infrastructures. However, most previous rooftop PV studies at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG) have been limited to single-building assessments or have not fully integrated spatial analysis with technical simulation. This study addresses this research gap by conducting a comparative analysis and system optimization of a rooftop photovoltaic (PV) installation at the Faculty of Engineering building using a combined Geographic Information System (GIS) approach and detailed technical simulation through HelioScope. The optimized design yields a total capacity of 368.79 kWp comprising 647 Canadian Solar 570W modules. Simulation results indicate an annual energy output of 486.5 MWh with a Performance Ratio (PR) of 95.8%, where PR represents the ratio of actual system performance to ideal irradiance conditions, and a solar access value of 99.2%. The economic assessment shows a payback period of 11.04 years under an export tariff of IDR 1,440/kWh. Furthermore, a comparative evaluation with two previous studies demonstrates significant improvements in both technical and economic aspects due to the integrated GIS and high-resolution simulation approach. The findings provide a valuable reference for advancing renewable energy implementation in educational institutions, particularly in designing efficient and sustainable rooftop PV systems.

Ikhsan Hidayat. Proses Pembuatan Kain Tenun Tradisional Sekomandi Menggunakan Konsep Tradisional di Desa Batuisi Kecamatan Kalumpang Kabupaten Mamuju Sulawesi Barat. Skripsi, Prodi Pendidikan Seni Rupa, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Penelitian ini membahas ke- rajinan kain tenun tradisional Sekomandi di Desa Batuisi yang masih diwariskan secara turun-temurun dan telah dipasarkan hingga ke berbagai daerah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan kain tenun Sekomandi, meliputi pen- golahan bahan, pemintalan, pewarnaan benang, pembuatan dan pewarnaan motif, serta penenunan, serta pengembangan fungsi kain tenun Sekomandi. Data dikumpulkan me- lalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif me- lalui tahap editing, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi.

Abstract

Solar energy is one of the renewable energy sources that has the potential to be developed in Indonesia. However, monitoring the performance of Solar Power Plants (PLTS) is generally still carried out conventionally so that the data obtained is not real-time and makes it difficult to detect disturbances. The Internet of Things (IoT) based PLTS electric power monitoring system is designed to monitor electrical parameters in real-time, including voltage, current, power, temperature, and humidity. The system design uses PZEM-004T, PZEM-017, and DHT11 sensors integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller as the main controller. The measurement data is displayed on an OLED screen and sent to the Blynk and Telegram applications as remote monitoring media with an automatic notification feature. The test results show that the system works well and has a high level of accuracy. During daytime testing, the highest DC and AC voltage values were recorded at 18.22 V and 233.8 V, respectively, while at night they reached 12.36 V and 228.1 V. The maximum DC current and power values were 0.44 A and 7.9 W, respectively. Comparison with manual measuring instruments showed very small measurement differences, namely 0.01–0.05 V for DC voltage and 0.1% for humidity, with an average error of only 0.07%. These findings prove that the developed IoT-based monitoring system is stable, accurate, and efficient in monitoring the condition of the solar power plant in real-time, and has the potential to be further developed on a larger scale through the integration of cloud storage and intelligent energy management.
