Abstract

Keadilan dan kesetaraan gender hingga saat ini masih terus diperjuangkan untuk menempatkan perempuan pada posisi yang setara dengan laki-laki. Hasilnya telah banyak ditunjukkan dengan banyaknya perempuan menduduki posisi penting sebagai pengambil kebijakan bersama-sama dengan laki-laki. Demikian juga dalam bidang pendidikan. Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang bagaimana kontribusi perempuan dengan laki-laki dalam memanajemen pendidikan madrasah. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini bertempat di pondok pesantren Nurul Jadid. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif merupakan metode yang memiliki prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis dan lisan dari orang atau bahkan dari perilaku orang yang dapat diamati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi perempuan dalam pelaksanaan program serta pengawasannya pondok pesantren Nurul Jadid memfungsikan kaum perempuan berperan sebagai perpanjangan tangan dari pengasuh dalam mengelola pesantren, pada posisi wakil ketua, sekretaris dan bendahara. Peran laki-laki masih sebagai “raja” sedangkan perempuan sebagai manajer yang bertanggung jawab dalam mengatur santri

Abstract

This study aims to determine the life skill education of children with physical disabilities through religious extracurricular activities at SLBN Gending, Probolinggo, East Java. The research design used is descriptive qualitative research in the form of data exposure in the field of study under study. Data collection techniques used are direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis model used was using the Miles and Huberman technique, namely data reduction, data exposure / presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research obtained were that there were several religious extracurricular activities at SLBN Gending, including praying together before and after carrying out learning activities, praying Duha and Zuhur in congregation, memorizing prayers and short letters, reciting the Koran, and studying have a good character. Children with physical disabilities will acquire four skills, namely personal skills (the ability to know themselves and their God), academic skills (the ability to think intelligently according to religious demands), social skills (the ability to have a social character with religious values ​​that have been embedded in them), and vocational skills (The ability to have potential skills and vocational skills about religion

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of kiai leadership in increasing public interest in using educational services at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in the midst of increasingly competitive competition from educational institutions. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, with data obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of kiai, pesantren administrators, teachers, guardians of students, students, and community leaders, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study show that kiai leadership plays a significant role in increasing public interest through three main aspects, namely building a positive image of pesantren through moral example, developing educational services that are adaptive and in accordance with community needs, and strengthening social relationships through communication and active involvement in community life. These three aspects are integrated with each other in building public trust which is a key factor in determining the choice of pesantren education services. These findings confirm that the success of pesantren is not only determined by the quality of the educational program, but also by the leadership capacity of the kiai in building trust, a positive image, and harmonious social relations, thereby making a theoretical contribution to the development of Islamic education leadership studies as well as practical implications for improving the competitiveness of Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong sekolah untuk mengadaptasi strategi komunikasi pendidikan yang lebih efektif dan responsif. Hubungan masyarakat (humas) sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam mengelola arus informasi antara sekolah dan orang tua peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi humas dalam pemanfaatan aplikasi WhatsApp sebagai media komunikasi pendidikan di SMPIT Permata Kraksaan serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap efektivitas penyampaian informasi pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, staf humas, dan wali kelas, serta didukung oleh observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi humas dalam pemanfaatan WhatsApp di SMPIT Permata Kraksaan dilaksanakan secara terencana dan terstruktur melalui penetapan WhatsApp sebagai media komunikasi resmi, pembagian peran yang jelas antara humas dan wali kelas, pengelolaan pesan yang sistematis, serta penerapan komunikasi dua arah yang terkontrol. Bentuk informasi yang disampaikan meliputi informasi akademik, kegiatan sekolah, kebijakan dan administrasi, serta pembinaan karakter peserta didik, yang dikemas dalam berbagai format pesan untuk meningkatkan kejelasan dan pemahaman. Pemanfaatan WhatsApp terbukti meningkatkan efektivitas penyampaian informasi dari aspek kecepatan, keterjangkauan, kejelasan pesan, dan partisipasi orang tua.Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperkuat peran humas sebagai fungsi manajemen strategis dalam komunikasi pendidikan berbasis digital. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi sekolah dalam mengelola komunikasi pendidikan melalui media digital secara profesional dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study focuses on examining the effectiveness of integrating situational leadership with traditional values to enhance student discipline in Islamic boarding schools. The primary objective is to explore how a holistic leadership training program, tailored to the unique cultural context of pesantren, can improve student adherence to school regulations and foster self-discipline. A qualitative case study method was employed, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. Data were collected from school administrators, teachers, and students at Nurul Jadid Middle School in Probolinggo, East Java. The findings indicate that the integration of situational leadership principles with the values of pesantren significantly improves student discipline, resulting in a more orderly and conducive learning environment. The study's implications suggest that this model can be adopted by similar institutions to enhance student behavior and academic outcomes. The research contributes to the growing body of literature on educational leadership and discipline, particularly within the context of Islamic education.
