Abstract

AbstractIn the education system of Pesantren salaf (traditional Islamic boarding school), Kiai is the highest authority in determining the direction and policies of a pesantren. The figure of Kiai in Pesantren has the authority to determine the direction, the purpose of education, and curriculum/learning materials in Pesantren. Kiai has authority in determining the books of certain scholars. Some books are specifically used in Pesantren to provide guidance for students in implementing the learning process in Pesantren.Those books are selected by Kiai to provide guidance for students in implementing the learning process in this Pesantren. This writing seeks to discuss mutual and interrelated relations among kiai’s authorities, curriculum and norms of students in learning. This paper will discuss how Kiai with authority to select and specify the books on the provisions of the students in learning. While such rules directly strengthen and perpetuate the leadership of Kiai in Pesantren. AbstrakDalam sistem pendidikan Pesantren salaf, Kiai adalah otoritas tertinggi dalam menentukan arah kebijakan pesantren. Sosok Kiai di Pesantren, memiliki wewenang untuk menentukan arah, tujuan pendidikan, kurikulum\materi pembelajaran di Pesantren. Kiai memiliki otoritas dalam menentukan kitab-kitab para Ulama tertentu. Beberapa kitab secara khusus digunakan di Pesantren untuk membimbing siswa dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran di Pesantren. kitab tersebut dipilih oleh Kiai untuk membimbing siswa dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran di Pesantren ini. Tulisan ini berusaha untuk membahas hubungan timbal balik dan saling terkait antara otoritas kiai, kurikulum dan norma-norma siswa dalam pembelajaran. Tulisan ini akan membahas bagaimana Kiai dengan wewenangnya memilih dan menentukan kitab-kitab belajar  siswa. Sementara aturan tersebut langsung memperkuat dan melanggengkan kepemimpinan Kiai di Pesantren.

Abstract

Moderatism in Islam teaches balance, inclusivism, tolerance, and love of peace. With this value, Muslims appear with a peaceful face and tolerance against various differences. Pesantren al-Amin Prenduan, the value of modernism instilled these values, in the process of learning, in the subject of al-Qur, an, Al-Hadith, Fight and Islamic History. While outside the learning process, the planting of moderate values ​is done in extra-curricular activities, santri life management, and incidental activities in pesantren. This paper intends to examine 1) the implementation of moderate education in Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School in the framework of local wisdom Madurese, 2) constructivism learning model in cultivating the values ​​of moderatism, and 3) learning strategies used in moderatism education. The research method used is qualitative research, by using observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this research are 1) The planting of moderatism in Pesantren al-Amin is conducted through 1) the learning process based on the curriculum that is applied (intrakurikuler). 2) learning outside of the curriculum (extra curricular), and 3) hidden curriculum (hidden curricular). As a boarding school located in Madura, this pesantren conducts its education process in the framework of the local wisdom of Madura that is respect to the teacher.

Abstract

Perlindungan terhadap profesi guru merupakan upaya melindungi guru-guru dari berbagai kekerasan, ancaman, perlakuan diskriminatif, ketidak adilan, kriminalisasi, dan perlakuan-perlakuan yang menyimpang dari siswa, orang tua dan masyarakat. Studi ini bertujuan bentuk-bentuk perlindugan bagi guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai pendidik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Yuridis sosisologis dalam bingkai penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam dan dokumomentasi. Analisis data dilakkan dengan Langkah-langkah dengan reduksi data, pengambilan kesimpulan. Dari penelitian yang dilaksakan. Hasil penetian ini menujukkan terdapat 1) perlidungan hukum guru melalui advokasi dan sosialisasi hukum, perlindungan dari kekerasan, 2)perlindungan profesi dengan penghasilan yang layak dan kebebasan mengeluarkan pendapat, 3) perlingungan terhdap kekayaan intelektual dengan mendorong guru berkarya, namun karya-karya tersebut belum dipatenkan.

Abstract

This writing is trying to understand the character- based teaching and learning in the state of Islamic School Pamekasan. The researcher used qualitative approach in this research, where non-participant observation, interview and documentation as the instrument to collect the data. Data analysis used were data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion.  The research result  showed that the patterns used in the character- based teaching and learning in the State Islamic School Pamekasan are in the form of: 1) uncovering the meaning from several theories, 2) relating the theory analysis with values in life (reflective approach), 3) revealing the siginificance of knowledge, 4) explaining values containing in the knowledge, 5) inserting suggestion for students about self control and keeping away from what is being banned in Islam and social norms, 6) giving some warnings when the students break the rule of ethics, 7) giving punishment to students for breaking the rule.
