Abstract

This study aimed to explore the preparation of an outdoor study, the experiences of students and the results of their essays after doing an outdoor study using the exploration method of 14 students. The techniques used were interviews and analysis of their written documents. The findings of this study indicated that outdoor study activities began with preparation to achieve learning objectives by setting a schedule of activities. Students felt that outdoor study activities in learning to write made it easier for them to write based on the realities of people's lives without having to imagine as well as being able to socialize with the community. Students' essays were generally seen from the aspects of content, content organization, vocabulary and grammar in general according to facts, good and precise. There were three topics written about the function of the Kereng Bangkirai Pier and the title of the essay and the flow of the different descriptions. The implication of this research is that learning in an environment that matches the theme of the material helps students in developing their competences from cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

This study examines the leadership of the Kiai at the Hidayatul Insan Islamic Boarding School, Fii Ta'Limiddin, Palangka Raya City with the formulation of the nature of pesantren leadership and how to integrate Islamic boarding school culture and Dayak culture in the Hidayataul Insan Islamic Boarding School, Palangka Raya City. The research was conducted using a phenomenological approach through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out through three activity streams. The results showed that the leadership of the pesantren is a leadership phenomenon that tends to be autocracy in which the highest power and authority is in the hands of the Kiai. Integrative leadership as a cooperative and democratic leadership model can be an alternative model of leadership, especially in the context of cultural integration in Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between students and teachers with learning materials, delivery methods, learning strategies, and learning resources in a learning environment. Usually the Indonesian people know that the learning process is a process that is carried out in schools. However, it's different now. The world has created a new history, including changes in the learning system and order. This is caused by the emergence of كوفيد-19 which requires all forms of activities including learning to be carried out from home, one of which is learning Arabic which involves the role of parents in it. This study aims to describe parental involvement in the process of learning Arabic during the كوفيد-19 pandemic taking place in class III MIS Al Jihad Palangka Raya. This study involved five respondents consisting of two parents (key instrument), Arabic subject teacher, and two students (support instrument). The results of this study can be seen that parents are involved in giving attention by motivating, reminding, and supervising. Become a facilitator who provides textbooks, cellphones, wifi, and includes children in tutoring. Become a mentor or mentor who guides and advises children to be responsible in learning. Become a supervisor who always monitors children's learning activities. Be a motivator who always invites children to study every day, and become a communicator who receives and informs everything related to lessons in the student's Arabic learning process which is carried out from home.

Abstract

Ismul Mutmainah, 2021, The Effectiveness of Using Hot Potatoes Applications in Improving the Ability to Arrange Arabic Sentences in Mts. Istiqamah Muara Teweh. Department of Language Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, at IAIN Palangka Raya, Advisor (1) Dr. Ahmadi, M.Pd. Supervisor (2) Cecep Zakarias El Bilad, M.Pd.This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Hot Potatoes application in improving students' ability to compose Arabic sentences. This study uses a quantitative research method of experimental type or a true experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in the study was class VII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Istiqamah Muara Teweh. From this study, the following results were found: 1. Students in the control class and Students from the experimental class show an increase in their ability to compose sentences seen from the average value of the pretest and posttest results. So, it can be concluded that the Hot Potatoes application can improve students' ability to compose sentences. 2. The comparison of the posttest mean scores of the experimental class and the control class using the independent sample test, obtained a significance value of 0.020 which is smaller than 0.05, so there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between experimental class students who learn to use the Hot Potatoes application with control class students who do not use the Hot Potatoes application. The Hot Potatoes application was more effective for students in this study.

Abstract

The research is a quantitative study which aims to measure the effectiveness of using Sparkol Videoscribe media to improve mastery of Isim Isyarah material for class IV students at SDIT Darul Istiqomah, Palangka Raya City. The type of research used is an experiment with a one group pre-test post-test design model, while the data collection technique used is a test. The subject of this research is class IV which consists of 20 students. The results obtained showed that there was quite a significant increase in the average pre-test score (52.11) and post-test score (84.47), which showed an increase in results. Furthermore, from the results of the paired sample T-test, the sig value is known. 0,000. Based on the decision making rules in the paired sample T-test that the sig. value <0.05 or 0.000 <0.05, then the hypothesis H0 is rejected and for Ha it is accepted because there is a fairly large difference between the pre-test and post-test results. So, it can be concluded that the use of Sparkol Videoscribe learning media is effective in improving mastery of Isim Isyarah material for SDIT Darul Istiqomah Palangka Raya students

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the quality of learning in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Palangka Raya City. The quality of learning has a major impact on the quality of students in an educational institution. Madrasah must have the ability to carry out the learning process smoothly and efficiently to achieve the agreed goals. One of the favorite Aliyah madrasahs, namely MAN Palangka Raya City, every year has abundant academic achievements, this does not escape the application of learning quality. This study aims to describe activities in MAN Palangka Raya City in carrying out quality learning. Researchers use qualitative methods. In collecting the necessary data, researchers use interview techniques, observation techniques, and documentation techniques. The subjects in this study consisted of the Head of MAN Palangka Raya City, Wakamad Kurikulum, Teachers of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics Specialization subjects while supporting informants were students of grade XI MIPA 1. Triangulation of sources and methods used as data validation. The study used Miles and Huberman's data analysis, the data was analyzed by gathering all available information, subtracting it, presenting it, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research conducted show that the implementation of learning quality in MAN Palangka Raya City runs well and is balanced with Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 concerning Primary and Secondary Education Process Standards, which among others contain requirements for the implementation of the learning process, namely the allocation of face-to-face learning hours, study groups, textbooks and classroom/laboratory management. Then, the implementation of learning quality includes preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities.
