Abstract

The aims of the research were to develop Arabic learning material model for the senior high school level which was able to become a standard textbook in Arabic learning for high school. It was a realization of the National Language Politics policy that stated, Arabic as a language of religion and culture is taught from elementary school to university level. The research used to research and development (R & D) approach that refers to Borg and Gall theory. There are 10 steps in the development research cycle. However, it was given the small-scale research, which developed materials and media Arabic learning in Jakarta area, this research did at the stage of getting the final product, namely the prototype of Arabic learning material developed. The research was begun through survey research to obtain an empirical sequence of Arabic learning as a basis to support rational empirical strategies in the development design of Arabic learning materials in high school. This research produced Arabic learning textbooks of class X to class XII at the High School level which are equipped with media.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a clear description of the form and function of illocutionary speech acts in the dialogue of the film "Qiyamatu Ertugrul" episode 1. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The research instrument is the researcher herself is assisted by a classification table which contains the types of illocutionary speech acts and their fusions. Thus the researcher got the results that illocutionary speech acts in the dialogue of the film "Qiyamatu Ertugrul" episode 1, are as follows: 19 assertive speech acts with a percentage of 21% consisting of a statement function of 16 utterances and 3 explanations of 3 speeches. Commissive speech acts were 8 utterances with a percentage of 8% consisting of the promise function of 6 utterances and threats of 2 utterances. The directive speech acts were 47 speeches with a percentage of 53% consisting of the function of forcing 1 speech, giving advice as much as 1 speech, forcing 2 speeches, praying for 2 speeches, asking for 3 speeches, offering as many as 3 speeches, begging as much as 5 utterances, and ordered as many as 30 speeches. Expressive speech acts were 15 utterances with a percentage of 17% consisting of praising 6 utterances, thanking 5 utterances and congratulating 4 utterances. There are also declarative speech acts that are not found in the dialogue of this film.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a CEFR-based model of teaching materials for Kitâbah Muqayyadah and integrated 21st century skills. This research was conducted with a development research approach that started with situation analysis, needs analysis, and the development of learning model design concepts. Based on the results of the situation analysis and needs analysis, the development of a model of Kitâbah Muqayyadah teaching materials based on CEFR and integrated 21st century skills are very much needed. The concept of developing a teaching material model is based on a literature review that produces eight 21st century skills. Meanwhile, the ordering model of the Kitâbah Muqayyadah teaching material, which is a writing skill for beginners, is arranged in eight sequences of material starting from the level of compiling isolated sentences to composing image-assisted discourse. In combining or integrating eight 21st century skills in eight sequences of material, teachers can adapt the learning methods to be applied while considering the objectives of each meeting.

Abstract

The development of learning media, especially learning evaluation media, during the Covid-19 pandemic brought new directions in the learning process. Based on the results of the needs analysis, most teachers at the Attaqwa 08 Karang Tengah Foundation are proficient in using zoom and google forms to organize the learning process. However, problems arised when 73.3% of teachers still use printed books, 42% use PowerPoint, 10% take videos from YouTube, and only 10% make videos to explain learning materials. As many as 63% of teachers want application-based, smartphone-based, or online-based learning development training, especially learning evaluation applications. The Mentimeter platform is a solution that can be offered to these teachers. Mentimeter offers convenience in making learning evaluations with a variety of attractive displays with very diverse animations. The training program was carried out for 2 days with workshop and mentoring methods and was attended by 50 participants. The results of the activity showed that participants gained new insights that were useful in enhancing creative and innovative learning.
