Abstract

Aim of this research is developing learning module for writing text-based news on tourism works and teach their feasibility in learning write news texts based on tourism work for junior high school students. This research uses development through the Borg and Gall model. The procedures in this research are (1) preliminary research, (2) module development material, and (3) product or module results. Data sources in the field trials were carried out in three schools, SMP Ngaras 1, SMP Negeri 2 Ngaras, and SMP Negeri 3 Bengkunat Belimbing. Data analysis techniques was carried out in a qualitative way. The results of this research can conclude "Writing Text News Module Based on the Process Based on Tourism Work Approaches" was declared appropriate for use by SMP students. The feasibility of the results of the trials average of 90.4% with the following: the answers by the teacher 95% and students (85.8%).Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan modul pembelajaran menulis teks berita berbasis karya wisata dan menguji kelayakannya dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita berbasis karya wisata untuk siswa SMP/MTs. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengembangan melalui model Borg dan Gall. Prosedur yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) penelitian pendahuluan, (2) pengembangan materi modul, dan (3) produk atau hasil modul. Sumber data pada uji coba lapangan dilakukan di tiga sekolah, yakni di SMP Negeri 1 Ngaras, SMP Negeri 2 Ngaras, dan SMP Negeri 3 Bengkunat Belimbing. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menyimpulkan “Modul Menulis Teks Berita Berdasarkan Pendekatan Proses Berbasis Karya Wisata” dinyatakan layak digunakan oleh siswa SMP. Kelayakan hasil uji coba, baik uji coba terbatas maupun uji coba luas didapat rerata 90,4% dengan rincian: penilaian oleh guru sebesar 95% dan siswa sebesar (85,8%). Kata kunci: pengembangan, modul, karya wisata.DOI Artikel: https://doi.org/10.23960/J-Simbol/v8i1.2020.05

Abstract

Kawasan distrik Merauke memiliki total jumlah penduduk sebanyak ±101.022 jiwa. Mayoritas penduduk kota Merauke masih menggunakan minyak tanah sebagai bahan untuk berbagai kegiatan antara lain seperti memasak dan untuk membakar sampah. Jumlah agen Minyak tanah pada distrik Merauke berjumlah 40 agen Minyak tanah. Adapun Jumlah Pendistribusian Minyak tanah dari Distributor ke agen berkisar 1000 liter perminggu dan jumlah ini harus habis sebelum pendistribusian berikutnya, menurut beberapa agen minyak tanah stok biasanya habis paling lambat 3-4 hari. Sebagian agen di kota Merauke masih menggunakan alat pompa manual dan literan yang membuat liter yang dimasukan ke dalam jerigen menjadi tidak sesuai, hal ini membuat proses pendistribusian minyak jadi lama dan membutuhkan banyak waktu.Perancangan sistem otomatisasi pengisian minyak ini dilakukan menggunakan metode prototyping yakni membangun sebuah rancangan alat pompa otomatis beserta aplikasi website sebagai media penyajian data dan informasi kepada pengguna dalam hal ini adalah agen. Data yang di hasilkan yakni berupa data penjulan minyak tanah yang terjual dan dapat direkap perbulanya. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini yakni sebuah inovasi baru dalam proses pelayanan minyak tanah oleh agen kepada pembeli. Dan juga membantu agen dalam memonitoring pendapatan perbulanya. Karena rancangan yang dibangun berupa prototype maka masih terjadi eror yang bisa diatas dengan memainkan dari kalibrasi yang dapat di setel pada sistem ini

Abstract

Islamic Business Ethics is an important foundation in carrying out economic activities in accordance with Islamic teachings. In a business context, ethics not only includes compliance with sharia law, but also moral values that uphold justice, social responsibility and honesty. Principles such as the prohibition of usury, gharar and fraud are the main guidelines for running an ethical business. In addition, Islamic business ethics emphasizes the importance of integrity and openness in every transaction. In the era of globalization and increasingly fierce competition, the application of Islamic business ethics is becoming increasingly relevant, because it not only contributes to economic development, but also builds reputation and trust in the eyes of consumers and the wider community. Thus, understanding and implementing Islamic business ethics not only benefits individuals and companies, but also society as a whole, creating a more sustainable and fair business environment.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of insurance as a financial risk protection tool and evaluates the gap between the promise of protection offered and the reality experienced by customers. The study is based on key theories in insurance, including risk theory, premiums, claims, and time value of money, to explain how insurance works as a risk management mechanism. Data from books, journals, academic articles, and insurance industry reports are critically analyzed through a qualitative approach with a library research method. The results of the analysis show that there is a gap between the promise of insurance protection and the reality faced by customers, especially related to the low insurance literacy in the community and also provide a holistic view of the role and challenges of insurance as a risk mitigation instrument in the modern socio-economic context. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of insurance protection in managing unexpected financial risks, focusing on the theory of risk, premiums, claims, and time value of money. The study also considers people's insurance literacy, the potential of digitalization, and the need for stronger regulations to address issues of limited access and transparency of insurance in Indonesia. In conclusion, while insurance is important for risk mitigation, stronger regulations and better literacy are needed to ensure fairer and more effective protection.
