Abstract

The performance is related to skill, competency behavior, knowledge and motivation. This study about surveying the relationship between professional competency, and motivation that teachers have to the work performances. Using path analysis, the survey results in there is a significant direct effect between professional competency to the work performed e as 28,2% and proved by tscore = 1.924 ttable = 1.686.  There is a significant direct effect between motivation and work performance as 39, 8% and proved by tscore = 2.179 ttable = 1.686. There is a significant direct effect between professional competency to the motivation as 38.7% and proved by tscore = 2.591 ttable = 1.686.  There is a significant indirect effect between professional competency to the work performed through the motivation with the value of path coefficient 0.154 or 15.4% and proved by tscore = 1.063 ttable = 1.687.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBM) merupakan proses pembelajaran yang titik awalnya berdasarkan masalah dalam kehidupan nyata, lalu dengan masalah ini mahasiswa dirangsang untuk mempelajari masalah berdasarkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang telah mereka miliki sebelumnya (prior knowledge) sehingga dari prior knowledge ini akan terbentuk pengetahuan dan pengalaman baru. Kemampuan literasi kimia merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang penting untuk dimiliki oleh mahasiswa sebagai calon pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi kimia dan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia melalui penerapan PBM pada materi Kimia Pemisahan Analitik.  Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan one group pretest-postest design.  Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester lima yang mengambil mata kuliah Kimia Pemisahan Analitik (dua kelas), tahun Akademik 2018-2019.   Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBM memiliki kepraktisan dan keefektivan yang sangat tinggi dalam meningkatkan literasi kimia dan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa.  Peningkatan literasi kimia dan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa ditunjukkan dari rerata n-Gain setelah PBM yang berkategori sedang. Hasil perhitungan ukuran pengaruh menunjukkan bahwa 90% peningkatan literasi kimia dan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa pada materi kimia pemisahan analitik dipengaruhi oleh PBM

Abstract

The importance of this research is to improve students' self-efficacy and mental models in distance learning. This research also has an achievement target in the form of interactive articulate storyline learning media. Objectives: the subjects were students of Chemistry Education University of Lampung 1st Semester. Students were divided into 2 classes, namely 1 (one) class with learning using articulate storylines and 1 (one) class with conventional online learning.  Methods: This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental design with a Pretest-posttest Static-Group Design. Several stages in this research are: the research preparation stage (literature review and device making), the classroom research stage, the data analysis stage and the final stage of drawing conclusions. The data obtained were analyzed through statistical methods. Findings: The results showed that distance learning using articulate storylines was able to increase students' self-efficacy and mental models. Abstract

Abstract: Analysis of Student’s Misconception and Intrinsic Motivation in the Online-Collaborative Learning. Collaborative learning in the pandemic situation has some problems to be solved, especially in learning processes. This is done to analyze students’ misconceptions and motivations during online learning. The aim of the study was to assess the collaboration process in online learning by using jumping tasks. This is a descriptive research method using the lesson study approach in SMPN 7 Bandarlampung, meanwhile the subject is the student of grade 7. The instruments of research were used observation sheet and questionnaire. Based on the results of observations of the level of confidence of students associated with misconceptions in the material provided, many students answered confidently but did not understand the concept. Misconceptions occurred not only in students who answered incorrectly and with high confidence, but also in students who answered correctly with the wrong reason.   This means that students only did (wild guess) or guess with origin. In a nutshell, the provision of jumping tasks in collaborative learning has not been able to minimized the occurrence of the misconception and show the intrinsic motivational in moderate and high level.Keywords: Misconception, Motivation, Collaborative Learning

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menjadi bagian tri dharma perguruan tinggi bagi seorang dosen. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di desa Tanjung Anom, Pringsewu. Pembentukan usaha mandiri melalui produksi hand sanitizer bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarkat di masa pandemic COVID19. Produksi hand sanitizer menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam kondisi pandemi COVID19 sebagai alternatif dari mencucui tangan. Selain membuat hand sanitizer, peserta pengabdian yang tergabung dalam Badan Usaha Milik Desa ( BUMDes) Tanjung Anom dibekali dengan informasi seputar hand sanitizer yang banyak beredar di pasaran dan mereka juga dimotivasi dalam membaca peluang usaha di setiap kondisi perekonomian bagaimanapun. Metode pembuatan hand sanitizer merujuk pada guided book WHO mengenai hand rub formulation dan juga surat edaran dari BPOM mengenai pembuatan hand sanitizer. Kegiatan ini tidak berhenti pada tahap produksi hand sanitizer tetapi juga hingga proses labeling, packing hingga online marketing menggunakan market places.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the inquiry lesson model on the buffer solution material to improve students' critical thinking skills. The research sample was grade XI students of a senior highschool in Bandarlampung which obtained by using purposive sampling technique. In the control class, direct instruction learning was applied and in the experimental class was the inquiry lesson. The research used a quasi-experimental design with The Matching-Only Pretest- Post-test Control Group. The research data were analyzed using the n-gain calculation and parametric statistics with the t-test. The results showed that the post-test average score of critical thinking skills in the experimental class and the control class had a significant difference and the average n-gain in the experimental class was 0.48 (moderate category). Thus, it can be concluded that the Inquiry Lesson model is effective for improving students' critical thinking skills.Keywords: Inquiry lesson, buffer solution, critical thinking skills Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model inquiry lesson pada materi larutan penyangga untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA sebuah SMA Negeri di Bandarlampung yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling.  Pada kelas kontrol diterapkan pembelajaran langsung dan pada kelas eksperimen diterapkan inquiry lesson.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain The Matching-Only Pre-test - Post-test Control Group. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan n-gain dan statistik parametrik dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata postes keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan serta n-gain rata-rata di kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,48 (berkategori sedang).  Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Inquiry Lesson efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.  Kata kunci: Inquiry Lesson, larutan penyangga, keterampilan berpikir kritis.
