Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of company characteristics on capital structure, as proxied by short-term leverage, long-term leverage, and total leverage. The independent variables used include company size, profitability as proxied by ROA, tangible assets (tangibility), company growth (growth), and company risk (risk). This study uses panel data with 150 company observations during the study period and is analyzed using a panel data regression method with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach as the best model. The results show that company size has a negative and significant effect on all capital structure proxies, namely short-term leverage, long-term leverage, and total leverage. Tangible assets have a significant negative effect on short-term leverage and total leverage, but have no significant effect on long-term leverage. Company risk has a significant positive effect on short-term leverage and total leverage, but has no significant effect on long-term leverage. Meanwhile, profitability and company growth do not show a significant effect on all capital structure proxies. The adjusted R-squared value indicates that the model has a fairly good ability to explain variations in company capital structure. These findings indicate that a company's capital structure decisions are more influenced by company size, risk, and asset characteristics than by profitability and company growth factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the amount of credit disbursed (Loan Disbursement) based on economic sectors, non-performing loans (NPL), current accounts - savings accounts (CASA) on the profitability of national banks and foreign banks operating in Indonesia. The approach used is descriptive quantitative research. The data sources used in this study come from financial reports and annual reports in the banking sector. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 statistical software by looking at descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study prove that only credit disbursement in the service and business sectors has a positive and significant effect on ROA, while credit disbursement in the construction, trade, and agriculture sectors has a positive but insignificant effect, and credit disbursement in the mining sector has a negative and insignificant effect. NPL has a negative but insignificant effect on ROA, while CASA has a positive and significant effect on ROA. This study confirms that bank profitability is not only determined by the volume of credit disbursement and asset quality, but is also greatly influenced by the efficiency of the funding structure as reflected in the large proportion of CASA funds. Therefore, a banking strategy focused on quality credit growth in productive sectors, consistent NPL control, and increasing the proportion of CASA funds are key factors in strengthening banking financial performance in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Flexible Working Arrangement, Work Life Balance, and Job Satisfaction on Gojek driver performance in Semarang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to active Gojek drivers. The results showed that Flexible Working Arrangement, Work Life Balance, and Job Satisfaction have a positive effect on improving driver performance, both partially and simultaneously. This finding indicates that optimal management of these three variables can encourage drivers to work more productively, loyally, and professionally. This study illustrates that the success of driver performance can be improved through support for work flexibility, work life balance, and satisfaction in their work. Gojek drivers are advised to manage their working hours flexibly but in a structured manner in order to maintain a good work-life balance. Further research is needed to examine other factors that may affect driver performance, such as burnout, work motivation, rewards, and employment insurance.
