Abstract

As one of the promising tools within the traffic management schemes, parking control still need further research especiallu for its implementation in the developing countries city such as Jakarta. Specific characteristic of its physical, social, and economical nature need careful consideration before implementing parking control policy such as Rancangan Peraturan Daerah (Raperda) Perparkiran which apply the tariff variation system. This approach seems to hard to be implemented for this approach suffer from 'the lack of good acceptance' by the whole economic range of Jakarta people. So that, this article discusses some possible alternatives for parking control in Jakarta from the point of view. By discussing the advantages and disadvantages of each of the alternatives, hopely readers can be introduced to some of the possible alternative solutions.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the shift of idea in the notion of Folk to Online Communities. The methodology used is a literature review to establish the conceptual framework.There are two shift ideas, the first is the idea of Geddes, while the online community committed human activity not only in real space but also the virtual space that paved the conception of the unity of geography. The second is that the activity system concept was initiated Manheim no longer just the activities carried out in real space but also the activity is conducted in a virtual space. Concept of trip generation no longer refers to the location of the gathering of traveling performers in a particular geographic area unit. Conception of trip attraction was also no longer always refers to the city center or the center of town services but depends on the deal online community members in conducting physical meetings.

Abstract

Public Service Obligation (PSO) is government's obligation to provide affordable price and to optimize service in typicaly economy class of urban railway commuting. It is therefore important to evaluate its technical and service effectiveness. This article aims to assess the effectiveness of PSO railway services in economy class of urban railway, in accordance with the initial goals of PSO implementation. Using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) tool, technical effectiveness analysis is carried out by comparing the input (operating expenses, number of facilities, and amount of PSO) and output (and revenue passenger kilometers). Services Effectiveness is aimed to determine the effectiveness of service of two inputs that are train kilometers and kilometer of seats by comparing the 2 output namely kilometers passengers and revenue. The results show that only 4 out of 12 DMU have maximum level of technical effectiveness, and   only 3 out of 12 DMUs are having effective service.

Abstract

Abstract- In Indonesia, The absence of an institution that has the authority to coordinate and strengthen national commitment to the implementation of logistics policy is a constraint in the institutional system of national logistics in Indonesia. This paper conducted a review of the methodology of institutional framework to support cheap, fast and safe multimodal transport logistics system in port of tanjung priok, in an effort to objectify the institutional coordination concept of multimodal transport that can properly support the attainment of the vision in the development of the national logistics system. The method used in the form of qualitative descriptive to explore aspects of transport such as patterns of institutional coordination, range of powers and the institutional level. Meanwhile, multi-methods is used to select the proper transport institutional patterns according to the stakeholders associated with multimodal logistics activities in Indonesia.
