Abstract

Character education in elementary school children needs strengthening. This study aims to conduct a literature review on strengthening character education in elementary school children. This research uses qualitative research with the literature review method. Selection of literature using techniques based on keywords strengthening character education in elementary school students. In this study, the literature comes from Google Scholar with a publication limit of the last 10 years. The literature review study technique in this study used a synthetic matrix based on reference sources, methods, interventions, and findings. The results showed that 10 national journals conducted literature reviews. Character education in elementary school children needs strengthening. Strengthening can be done in learning materials; school rules, science competitions between students, awards for outstanding students, commemoration of national day, worship practices and spiritual guidance, activities; there is a talent and music class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengembangkan media komik sebagai media pembelajaran dengan fokus materi mengenai sikap yang mencerminkan sila-sila Pancasila kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian R&D (Research and Development) yang dikemukakan oleh Borg and Gall yang diuji cobakan pada 36 siswa Kelas III SDN Wedoro Lamongan. Desain uji coba yaang digunakan adala one group pretest-posttest design. Data penelitian diperoleh dari lembar validasi komik oleh para ahli, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan aktivitas peserta didik serta hasil belajar dan angket respon siswa. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil belajar siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada hasil validasi memperoleh hasil presentase ahli materi 87% serta 88% ahli media dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 87,5% dengan kategori valid. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh hasil yang sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 86%. Serta hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan hasil rata-rata pertemuan pertama 60 menjadi 88 pada pertemuan kedua dengan kategori tinggi berdasarkan hasil analisis n-gain sebesar 0,71. Respon siswa yang telah diberikan terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan berkategori sangat baik dengan presentase 87%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian pengembangan komik sebagai media pembelajaran dalam materi sikap yang mencerminkan sila-sila Pancasila layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Application of Smart Citizen Spinner (SCS) Learning Media in the Last Hour of Pancasila History Material to Increase Students' Interest in Learning in Class VII H at SMP Negeri 12 Surabaya. This research aims to determine the increase in students' interest in learning through the Smart Citizen Spinner (SCS) learning media during the last lesson hour. Action Research (PTK) with a model design according to Kemmis and Mc which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection which was carried out in the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. The research subjects were 34 class VII H students. This research instrument uses observation sheets and questionnaires to collect quantitative data. Data analysis techniques use quantitative data. Based on the results of the questionnaire given to research subjects, it was found that cycle one data got a percentage of 38.23% and in cycle two it got a percentage of 94.11%. So it can be concluded from research that using the Smart Citizen Spinner (SCS) learning media can increase students' interest in learning in the History of Pancasila material at SMP Negeri 12 Surabaya.
