Abstract

This article is about improving student learning outcomes in social studies learning in the material retelling experience through the method of giving assignments in class II of SDN 3 Limboto. The purpose of the study was to improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning on the material retelling experience through assignment methods in class II of SDN 3 Limboto. The research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was carried out in a cycle and each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation phase of the action, the monitoring and evaluation stage and the analysis and reflection stages. Based on the results of the research in the first cycle the percentage of results achieved by the KKM was 44% or 8 students who had fulfilled expectations and 56% or as many as 10 students who still needed to pay attention to their learning outcomes. While in the second cycle, the KKM achievement percentage increased to 94% or 17 students who had fulfilled expectations compared to the first cycle and only 6% or as many as 1 student who still needed to pay attention to the learning outcomes. Artikel penelitian ini mengenai meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS pada materi menceritakan kembali pengalaman melalui metode pemberian tugas di kelas II SDN 3 Limboto.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS pada materi menceritakan kembali pengalaman melalui metode pemberian tugas di kelas II SDN 3 Limboto penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara bersiklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahap pemantauan dan evaluasi dan tahap analisis dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada siklus I prosentase hasil capaian dari KKM sebesar 44% atau 8 orang siswa yang telah memenuhi harapan dan 56% atau sebanyak 10 orang siswa yang masih perlu diperhatikan hasil belajarnya. Sedangkan pada siklus II, prosentase capaian KKM meningkat menjadi 94% atau 17 orang siswa yang telah memenuhi harapan dibandingkan dengan siklus I dan tinggal 6% atau sebanyak 1 orang siswa yang masih perlu diperhatikan hasil belajarnya.

Abstract

The purpose of research was to increase the ability to calculate the volume of cubes and ballots for class V SDN 30 Paguyaman, Boalemo Regency using smart multiplication table media. The type of research used was class action research with the subject of research, namely grade V SDN 30 Paguyaman District, Boalemo regency. The research used the instrument of observing teacher activity, student activity, and student learning outcomes. The results of this research indicate an increase in the ability to calculate the volume of cubes and blocks. This is indicated by an increase in the computational ability in cycle I classically up to 33%, and in Cycle II to 83%. This shows that the results achieved by students have exceeded the work indicators that have been formulated, namely ≥80% of students classically subjected to actions to get ≥70 learning outcomes according to the KKM, it can be concluded that by using the intelligent multiplication table media the ability to calculate the volume of cubes and ballots for class V increases.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung volume kubus dan balok pada siswa kelas V SDN 30 Paguyaman Kabupaten Boalemo dengan menggunakan media tabel perkalian pintar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V SDN 30 Paguyaman Kabupaten Boalemo yang berjumlah 12 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen pengamatan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menghitung volume kubus dan balok. Hal ini ditunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil kemampuan menghitung siswa pada siklus I secara klasikal mencapai 33 %, dan pada siklus II menjadi 83 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil yang dicapai siswa telah melebihi indikator kerja yang telah dirumuskan yaitu ≥80 % siswa secara klasikal yang dikenai tindakan memperoleh hasil belajar ≥70 sesuai KKM, Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media tabel perkalian pintar kemampuan menghitung volume kubus dan balok pada siswa kelas V meningkat.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui metode pembelajaran inkuiri pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 5 Bone Kabupaten Bone Bolango dengan menggunakan jenisPenelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan masih dalam kategori rendah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari masih rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa pada saat observasi awal,dengan taraf persentase 20% dari 25 siswa. Oleh karena itu peneliti melakukan tindakan menggunakan metode pembelajaran inquiry materi keberagaman sosial budaya. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada hasil belajar siswa, terjadi peningkatan sebesar36% pada siklus I pertemuan pertama, 44% siklus I pertemuan kedua dan 60% pada siklus I pertemuan ketiga. Sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan pertama peningkatan hasil belajar mencapai 68% dan pada siklus II pertemuan kedua mengalami peningkatanhingga 88%, sehingga sudah mencapai indikator kinerja yang sudah ditetapkan yaitu 80% dengan KKM 75

Abstract

The objective of the independent curriculum is to find out the results of the implementation of the independent curriculum at SDN 1 Telaga Biru. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, the informants were one school principal, two educators and five students. This research is to find out about how the implementation of the independent curriculum at SDN 1 Telaga Biru. Several techniques were used in data collection, namely: a) Observation, b) Interview, c) Documentation. The results show that in the implementation of the independent curriculum there is more emphasis on substantive material and developing student competencies according to the stages. Therefore, learning with this independent curriculum is expected to be more in-depth, not rushed, more fun and meaningful. Thus, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum is more optimal even though it has only been implemented for one year. The Independent Curriculum, still needs to be developed and improved thus it can overcome current educational problems.

Abstract

The problem studied in this research is whether implementing the Snowball Throwing type of cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies class IV Mongkoinit, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research with research subjects of 25 class IV students at SDN 1 Mongkoinit. There was an increase in learning outcomes in the first cycle of observing teacher activities by 66.7%, in student activities by 55%, and in student learning outcomes by 56. %. Then in cycle II there was an increase in teacher activity of 91.6%, student activity of 95% and learning outcomes of 88%.

Abstract

The present research addressed the question of how ethnomathematics-led learning can promote the learning of plane geometry in elementary students by combining the local cultural heritage elements of the Gorontalo community, namely Payango traditional house, to mathematics education. Seeking to utilize a quasi-experimental pre-test post-test design, 30 students in three elementary schools were randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group was exposed to mathematics learning in the context of the geometry of the Payango house whereas the control group was taught normally. In the statistical analysis, the experimental group reported that much better results were attained in the Comprehension of mathematics, both in terms of post-test score and standard deviation than the control group (p = 0.002). In addition to enhanced cognition, the students who encountered ethnomathematics expressed increased motivation, engagement, and relevance in the learning of mathematics as well as its owning. These results denote that ethnomathematics has more to offer to enhance performance: this mathematics is introduced as meaningful, culturally related knowledge, which contributes to conceptualisation and positive mathematical attitude. The study highlights the potential of ethnomathematics to promote educational equity, cultural affirmation, and deeper learning. It calls for its systematic integration into curricula, supported by teacher development and inclusive instructional design, and identifies the need for future longitudinal and cross-context research to further explore its transformative possibilities.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness of the Anti-Bullying Task Force in reducing verbal violence at Private Ibtidaiyah Madrasah Imam Syafi'I, Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency. Utilizing a Descriptive Approach with a qualitative research type, the study employed stratified random sampling to select 9 respondents. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. The task force primarily focused on prevention through various strategies, such as providing advice during morning dhikr sessions and before learning activities, as well as educating students on the consequences of bullying. In handling incidents, the task force employed motivational counseling and imposed sanctions when necessary, ensuring student agreement and avoiding physical harm. Post-traumatic support emphasizes providing encouragement to victims of verbal violence, encouraging them to respond assertively without resorting to physical confrontation. The study revealed that gentle counseling had a positive impact, as evidenced by increased reporting of bullying incidents and a reduction in bullying behaviors within the madrasah. Overall, the findings underscored the importance of proactive intervention and supportive measures in mitigating verbal violence among students.

Abstract

Penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual dalam meningkatkan pemahaman matematika merupakan pendekatan penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi matematika siswa. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual di SDN 1 Batudaa, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep matematika melalui pengaitan materi ajar dengan situasi kehidupan nyata. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa mengaitkan konteks kehidupan nyata dalam pembelajaran matematika membantu siswa memahami konsep-konsep abstrak dan meningkatkan motivasi mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metodologi studi kasus untuk menggali pengaruh pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap pemahaman matematika siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kontekstual meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan pengalaman sehari-hari, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa. Namun, tantangan seperti kesiapan guru dan keterbatasan sumber daya menjadi hambatan dalam penerapan yang optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kontekstual, terutama yang mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dan teknologi, merupakan strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman matematika dan motivasi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan interaktif dan kolaboratif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya di kelas IV dan V SDN 1 Telaga kabupaten Gorontalo. Pendidikan matematika yang efektif perlu mengatasi tantangan rendahnya motivasi siswa yang sering merasa kesulitan dengan mata pelajaran ini. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan interaktif yang menggabungkan teknologi dan kolaborasi antar siswa diterapkan untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan dan relevan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua pendekatan ini dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penggunaan aplikasi Augmented Reality (AR) dan pembelajaran berbasis kelompok terbukti memperkuat pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep matematika yang sulit. Selain itu, kolaborasi antar siswa meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan komunikasi mereka, yang berkontribusi pada pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna. Namun, tantangan dalam implementasi pendekatan ini termasuk keterbatasan sumber daya dan perlunya pelatihan guru yang lebih intensif. Dengan dukungan yang tepat dari pihak sekolah dan pelatihan guru, pendekatan ini dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam mengembangkan metode pengajaran yang lebih interaktif dan kolaboratif di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in improving student discipline at SDN 18 Limboto. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Teachers have a strategic role in shaping student discipline through various learning strategies and school rules. (2) SDN 18 Limboto has implemented a discipline program based on school rules with a violation point system and rewards. (3) Teachers use habituation and role model methods in improving student discipline. (4) Obstacles faced in improving student discipline include low student awareness, environmental influences, and lack of consistent supervision. (5) To overcome these obstacles, teachers apply motivational strategies, provide examples, and routine evaluations of student behavior. (6) The implementation of good discipline contributes to improving the quality of classroom learning and a more conducive school environment. This study is expected to be a reference for schools in developing strategies to improve student discipline and provide insight for educators in building an orderly and effective learning environment.
