Abstract

This research focused on one Indonesian Pesantren located in the region of Muaro Jambi, Jambi. We used qualitative study with a case study approach aiming to gain an in-depth understanding and interpretation of the meaning, a thorough fact about the leadership of the principal in managing the teacher in the perspective of the prophecy of Prophet Muhammad PbUH in one Indonesian Pesantren. The research was undertaken as a qualitative research, a case study approach. The participants of the research consisted of four participants as shown in the table below. The findings show that the planning of teacher competency development program in the perspective of four prophecies of the prophet Muhammad PbUH in Pesantren has been carried out by the four participants. Planning begins with the participants' knowledge of the four characteristics of the Prophet’s prophecies in the Pesantren, based on the needs of individuals’ competencies of participants. In general, the planning has been going well because every activity was scheduled in such a way that does not interfere the student learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate student interest in learning the electronic module ethnoconstructivism in several elementary schools. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results of the research carried out at Muara Bulian Elementary School No. 13 / I with the highest frequency 31 with a percentage of 54.4% included in the Good category. Whereas in SD Negeri No. 80 / I Muara Bulian with the most frequency 31 with a percentage of 49.2% included in the category of Very Good. Based on these results a T test was performed with a Sig. (2-Tailed) value of 0.683 0.05, so there were no significant comparisons or differences in the learning interests of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 13 / I Muara Bulian with students at SD Negeri No. 80 / I Muara Bulian.

Abstract

Cerita rakyat ialah salah satu contoh media yang dapat digunakan sebagai saranamembangun karakter yang positif pada anak sekolah dasar melalui nilai pembentuk karakter yang ada di dalam cerita. Penelitian  ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menganalisis nilai pembentuk karakter pada anak  dalam cerita rakyat Jambi berjudul Asal-usul Raja Negeri Jambi. Teknik Pengumpulan pada  penelitian ini  iaklah dilaksanakan dengan membaca teks cerita rakyat Jambi yaitu Asal-usul Negeri Jambi secara berulang-ulang dan menganalisa data berupa kata kunci yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai pembentuk karakter dalam cerita tersebut. Selanjutnya data yang telalh dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya nilai pembentuk karakter anak  dalam cerita rakyat Asal-usul Raja Negeri Jambi; yaitu sabar, berani adil dan hemat.
