Abstract

Teaching challenges today require that teachers be able to present interesting learning media innovations. Likewise, in history learning, it is necessary to use innovative media so that students have an interest and interest in historical material. The Indonesian National History course I am a course that allows the use of teaching materials in the form of sticker album media. Broadly speaking, media can be humans, materials, or events that cause students to be able to acquire knowledge, skills or attitudes. The media complements other media in the form of textbooks as well as a learning environment in the form of a campus environment and its infrastructure and facilities. After analyzing the results of interviews and observations, the presence of learning media in the form of sticker albums is quite effective in facilitating lecture activities in general and facilitating the assessment of student assignments in particular. More than that, its presence can make history learning activities not monotonous in the sense that learning activities are centred on lecturers who use the lecture method while students listen passively.Keywords: Learning Media, Sticker Album, History Subject

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai storasi dan retrivasi bahasa pada anak di bawah 2 tahun masih jarang ditemukan karena data yang dihasilkan dianggap sederhana. Kondisi ini menimbulkan dorongan adanya penelitian ini. Tujuan khusus penelitian (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk fona, kata, dan kalimat yang diretrivasi anak usia 1-2 tahun; (2) mendeskripsikan makna kalimat berdasarkan konteks. Metode penelitian yang digunakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Diambil 2 subjek penelitian berdasarkan pertimbangan subjek anak 1-2 tahun dengan perkembangan normal. Hasil penelitian: (1) Subjek 1, fona vokal /i/, /e/, /Ə/, /a/ pada semua posisi sedangkan fona /u/, /Ɛ/, /o/ belum dapat diretrivasi secara jelas. Subjek 2 mampu meretrivasi fona /i/, /e/, /Ə/, /Ɛ/, /a/ pada semua posisi sedangkan fona vokal /u/, /o/, /ᴐ/ belum dapat diujarkan secara jelas . (2) Subjek 1 belum mampu metrivasi fona konsonan /f/, /l/, /q/, /r/, /s/, /v/, /x/, /z/ sedangkan Subjek 2 belum mampu meretrivasi fona konsonan /f/, /g/, /q/, /s/, /v/, /x/. (3) Kedua subjek mampu meretrivasi kelas kata. (4) Kedua subjek belum mampu memaknai kalimat berdasarkan konteks karena belum mampu meretrivasi kalimat. Simpulan penelitian: kedua subjek penelitian mampu meretrivasi fona vokal dan konsonan; meretrivasi holofrastik; meretrivasi diftong dan klaster; belum mampu mengujarkan kalimat; tergolong anak dengan perkembangan normal.Kata kunci:  storasi bahasa, retrivasi bahasa, studi kasus

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan pengembangan seni berbicara di depan umum melalui kegiatan pidato di SDN Tasikmadu 2 Malang. Pelatihan ini adalah merupakan usaha untuk membuat siswa berani berbicara di depan umum tanpa rasa malu dan gugup. Keterampilan ini sangat penting untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan, khususnya dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang lain atau masyarakat. Materi yang diberikan selama pelatihan didesain sesuai dengan anak usia 10-11 tahun, atau setingkat dengan anak kelas 4 SD. Metode pelatihan melilibatkan teknik public speaking, seperti pengaturan intonasi dan volume suara, gerakan tubuh, pemilihan kata yang baik dan sopan, membangun kepercayaan diri, dan penyampaian kalimat dengan jelas. Bentuk evaluasi yang diberikan pada siswa dalam pelatihan ini adalah penyemangat dan saran yang membangun. Harapan dari pelatihan ini siswa memperoleh keterampilan berbicara, dan juga meningkatkan rasa percaya diri sekaligus mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang cara berkomunikasi yang baik dan benar. Siswa akan mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan, sehingga anak akan terbiasa berbicara di depan umum dengan penuh percaya diri.

Abstract

TOGA merupakan tanaman yang memiliki berbagai khasiat, salah satunya sebagai obat herbal yang ekonomis untuk mengatasi masalah kesehatan secara tradisional. Pemanfaatan TOGA tidak hanya oleh kalangan dewasa, tetapi juga bagi orang tua dan anak-anak. Dewasa ini, sebagian besar anak-anak generasi Z (dalam hal ini usia sekolah) seringkali tidak mengetahui jenis-jenis tanaman obat yang ada di sekitar. Oleh karena itu, pengenalan TOGA sangat diperlukan untuk menumbuhkan kecintaan dan minat siswa akan tanaman obat yang berkhasiat bagi kesehatan. Dari Program Sosilaisasi dan Pendampingan Penanaman TOGA Menggunakan TOGA Card sebagai Media ini menjadi salah satu wahana pembelajaran yang tepat untuk memperkenalkan berbagai macam mengenai TOGA kepada siswa. Dari program edukatif dan berbasis eksperimen ini diharapkan dapat mendorong sekolah-sekolah yang minim pekarangan agar tetap dapat memiliki banyak tanaman kaya khasiat, sehingga dapat dijadikan wahana pembelajaran bagi para siswa. Program sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan di SMKS Brawijaya Batu. Materi mengenai pengertian TOGA, jenis-jenis TOGA, mencocokkan TOGA Card dengan tanaman TOGA yang sesuai, menanam TOGA di pot sebagai salah satu solusi penanaman lahan terbatas, serta dilakukan pembinaan dan pengawasan setelah dilakukan sosialisasi. Dari 30 tanaman TOGA merupakan jenis tanaman TOGA hias, sayur, buah, dan obat. Adapun untuk perawatan disesuaikan dengan media tanam dan kebutuhan sinar matahari sehingga dapat tumbuh dan dimanfaatkan oleh warga sekolah.

Abstract

Penguatan literasi, kreativitas, dan karakter siswa menjadi kebutuhan mendesak dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat Berbasis Potensi (PMBP) yang dilaksanakan di SMP NU Gondanglegi dan bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya literasi, minimnya penguasaan teknologi digital, kurangnya keterampilan desain visual, serta maraknya praktik bullying di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif melalui empat program utama, yaitu FOTASI (Fokus Cipta Puisi), PORNAS (Poster Hardiknas), Canva-tivity (pelatihan aplikasi Canva), dan sosialisasi Tiga Dosa Pendidikan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan literasi ekspresif siswa melalui puisi, keterampilan desain grafis melalui Canva, serta kesadaran sosial terkait isu bullying dan intoleransi. Pendekatan berbasis potensi terbukti mampu memberdayakan siswa secara kognitif, afektif, dan sosial, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih kreatif, aman, dan inklusif. Kegiatan ini memperkuat sinergi antara sekolah dan perguruan tinggi dalam membentuk generasi pembelajar yang adaptif, berkarakter, dan siap menghadapi era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of sarcasm found in the comment section of the TikTok account @vadelbadjideh, the types of posts that receive the most sarcastic comments, and the illocutionary speech acts contained in those comments. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, employing documentation techniques by capturing screenshots of comments from the most viewed video posts. The data were analyzed using a pragmatic approach based on Charles Morris’s theory and classified according to Elizabeth Camp’s sarcasm types and Searle’s speech act categories. The results show that lexical sarcasm is the most commonly used form by netizens, followed by propositional sarcasm, sarcasm with the word "like," and illocutionary sarcasm. Viral and controversial posts—such as videos featuring unique movements or connections to public issues—attract the highest number of sarcastic responses. The most frequent illocutionary acts found are assertive and expressive types, indicating that social media users employ sarcasm to express opinions and emotions. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of digital communication and the role of sarcasm in shaping social interactions on social media platforms.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the representation of the emotions of the main character in the novel Dia Angkasa by Nurwina Sari and its adaptation in the form of a web series, using a psychoanalytic approach according to Sigmund Freud. This research focuses on the question of how the emotions of the character Angkasa Naufal Merapi are represented in both media, and identifies the psychological conflicts that are the basis for character formation through the structure of id, ego, and superego. The qualitative descriptive method was used in this study with content analysis techniques, data sources from the text of the novel Dia Angkasa and its broadcast. Data collection techniques are carried out through intensive reading, recording, and coding of the categories of emotions produced in the form of anger, fear, love, and hope. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using psychoanalytic theory to understand the psychological dynamics of the characters. The results show that the emotions of the main characters in the novel are shown in depth through narrative and internal dialogue, while in the web series emotions are expressed more through visual and audio elements. There are differences in the depth of representation, but they complement each other in forming a complete understanding of the character. Psychoanalytic analysis shows that there is a conflict between instinctive impulses (id), consideration of reality (ego), and moral values (superego) in the main character, which shapes the emotional journey and maturity of the character.

Abstract

The reading interest of elementary school students in Indonesia is still relatively low. Many students have not yet developed an independent reading habit due to the limited availability of engaging and age-appropriate media. To address this issue, the “Joyful Literacy Class” program was developed as an initiative to foster reading interest through the use of interactive storybooks equipped with appealing illustrations and simple activities designed to encourage active student participation. The implementation method of this program employed a participatory approach, consisting of observation, media development, literacy class implementation, and evaluation. The results indicate an increase in students’ reading interest, reflected in higher reading frequency, enthusiasm during activities, and improved comprehension of story content. This program has proven effective in cultivating early reading habits and can serve as a model for enjoyable and easily applicable literacy learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This article comes from the phenomenon of new habits of the community since COVID-19 has changed a number of activities, one of which is gardening activities. This new habit is an activity at home during the WFH season and continues to this day. The rise of the sale of ornamental plants, both online and offline, has made the world of trade more vibrant. Impromptu planters have sprung up, as well as terms related to ornamental plants, types, and care. This certainly makes new planters a little confused and not used to it. Local, national, and foreign terms also enrich the treasure of ornamental planting knowledge. This research is aims to bridge the confusion about the terms so that people able to easily understand and use them in their daily lives. Through a linguistic descriptive approach, popular terms regarding ornamental plants are grouped according to their meaning field. The search for meaning was carried out in stages, both through online dictionaries of ornamental plants and through interviews, and using the introspection method to dig up data. Interviews with ornamental plant traders and collectors were conducted for follow-up searches for meaning. This strategy is equivalent to a directed fishing technique and taking notes. Data was also collected from social media, YouTube, and Instagram plantsellers who focused on the ornamental plant business. The results of this study have a reference meaning contained in gardening ornamental plants, namely a reference meaning that refers to gardening tools, containers or planting places, plant watering conditions, gardening activities, plant location, plant character, plant growing process, planting media, plant pests, plant drugs/fertilizers, plant conditions, plant types, and planting techniques.
