Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills for prospective entrepreneurs affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic in qualified hydroponic cultivation techniques. The method of implementing the activity is in the form of indoor training on the concepts and techniques of hydroponic cultivation. In addition, outdoor technical guidance is also carried out regarding the construction of hydroponic installations and cultivation practices, starting from making nutrition, sowing seeds, planting to harvesting. The method of field visits to successful hydroponic entrepreneurs is also carried out. Participants can properly follow the training materials and technical guidance on assembling installations and practicing hydroponic cultivation. The benefits and level of satisfaction of participants in participating in this activity reached a score of 8.75. This activity increases the interest of the training participants for hydroponic entrepreneurship. The condition of the harvested plants has not yielded the expected results, with yields still around 50% of the achievable potential. To ensure the sustainability of the activity and have a wider impact, the Konda Village Party should facilitate so that the participants of this activity can become tutors for other people who want to do hydroponic entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah melakukan evaluasi dampak kebijakan fiskal daerah terhadap kinerja perekonomian dan kinerja makro ekonomi pertanian. Model yang digunakan adalah model ekonometrika, yaitu dengan membangun dan mengestimasi sistem persamaan simultan yang terdiri atas 42 persamaan.  Selanjutnya dilakukan simulasi untuk memunculkan skenario kebijakan. Data yang digunakan adalah time series tahun 1990-2011. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa agar dapat meningkatkan penerimaan fiskal daerah dari pajak dan retribusi maka orientasi pembangunan diarahkan pada upaya peningkatan output, dan secara berantai maka peningkatan penerimaan tersebut dapat mendongkrak kucuran Dana Alokasi Umum (DAU) dari pemerintah pusat.  Jika upaya ini dapat dicapai maka juga akan mampu meningkatkan penerimaan fiskal dari bagi hasil bukan pajak.  Kebijakan berorientasi output pada satu sisi dan upaya pengendalian pertumbuhan penduduk pada sisi lain merupakan langkah yang perlu diambil agar pendapatan per kapita dapat meningkat.  Peningkatan pendapatan per kapita ini akan berpengaruh terhadap penurunan pengangguran dan kemiskinan. Peningkatan pendapatan per kapita akan lebih besar pengaruhnya di dalam menurunkan angka kemiskinan dibandingkan angka pengangguran

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia is gradually becoming normal, evidenced by the government's loosening policy to carry out offline activities. Educational, social, and economic activities have been going well. This study aims to determine the efficiency of broiler marketing in Kendari City. The approach used in this research is quantitative. The research was carried out in June 2022 in five Kendari City consumer centers (markets: Baruga, Anduonohu, Mandonga Central, Kendari Lama City Central, and Lawata). The data used are primary data from interviews with respondents and statistical data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency in secondary data and supported by literature studies. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the business scale of broiler breeders in Kendari City started from 3,000 - 10,500 heads in one livestock period. Marketing of broilers in Kendari City is through two marketing channels, marketing channel I from small traders in the market to final consumers and marketing channel II from producers to wholesalers in the market to final consumers. The analysis results show that the marketing of broiler products in Kendari City is running efficiently, each of which is indicated by the value of FS = 91% in marketing channel I and FS value = 74% in marketing channel II. The total profit earned by traders in the marketing channel I am Rp. 1,800,870.83/month, which is smaller than the profit earned by traders in marketing channel II, which is Rp. 37,422,631,80/month. Consumer responses to the price level (Rp24,666.30/kg – Rp32,188.00/kg) broilers in the Kendari City market are cheap and satisfied with the frequency of consumer shopping once and every day for the last month.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of farmers' knowledge about the mechanism for implementing Rice Farming Insurance; analyzing the motivation of lowland rice farmers in participating in Rice Farming Insurance; analyze the relationship between farmers' knowledge and motivation in participating in Rice Farming Insurance. The population in this study were 190 lowland rice farmers in Kendari City who participated in the Rice Farming Insurance program. Sampling was done by census. The research variables consisted of: farmers' knowledge and motivation to participate in Rice Farming Insurance. The level of farmers' knowledge was analyzed descriptively based on the revision of the Bloom Taxonomy in the cognitive domain, while to analyze the relationship between knowledge and motivation of farmers in participating in Rice Farming Insurance, the Spearman Rank correlation test was used. The results of the study show that lowland rice farmers in Kendari City have low knowledge of the mechanism for implementing Rice Farming Insurance; the motivation of farmers in participating in Rice Farming Insurance is in the high category. The result of the Spearman Rank correlation test shows that between knowledge and motivation of farmers in joining Rice Farming Insurance has a strong and significant level of relationship.Keywords: knowledge; motivation; Rice Farming Insurance

Abstract

This research was motivated by the advantages, margins and efficiency of robusta and arabica coffee marketing in Gandang Batu Sillanan District, Tana Toraja Regency. This research aims(1) knowing the marketing channels of robusta and arabica coffee in gandang batu sillanan district of tana toraja regency (2) knowing the benefits and marketing margins of robusta and arabica coffee in gandang batu sillanan district of tana toraja regency and (3) Knowing the level of marketing efficiency and total efficacy of robusta and arabica coffee in gandang batu sillanan district of tana toraja regency.The study was analyzed using descriptive, margin and farmer's share analysis. The population and samples in the study used the purposive sampling method, which is a deliberate sampling technique using the criteria that coffee farmers' main livelihoods as coffee farmers, the determination of merchant respondents was determined using the snowball sampling method. This research obtained the following results; (1)marketing channels from farmers to consumers, namely;(a)Farmers sell to wholesalers then sell to consumers(b)Farmers sell to collecting merchants then sold to wholesalers and then sell them to consumers (2)On channel I wholesalers get a profit of IDR 11,795/kgand a margin of IDR12,000/kg while channel II collecting merchants get a profit of IDR4,639/kg and a margin of IDR5,000/kg while wholesalers get IDR 11,795/kg and margins of IDR 12,000/kg. (3)Percentage of the price share received by the manufacturer on channel I is 59% and channel II is 64%. The total number of large traders on channel I is IDR 12,974,500, while in channel II the total profit of collecting traders amounted to IDR 4,764,840 and wholesalers of IDR 4,175,100.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the sale and purchase of broiler chickens by farmers with traders in the Kabawo District of Muna Regency. This study aims to (1) find out the marketing channels of broiler chickens in Kabawo District of Muna Regency and (2) know the level of efficiency of broiler chicken marketing in Kabawo District of Muna Regency. This research was analyzed using descriptive analysis, margin analysis, and marketing efficiency (Farmer's Share). Determination of breeder and trader samples is carried out by census sampling, namely collecting the entire population as a research sample if the population is less than 50 people. The population in this study consists of 10 breeders, 1 collecting merchant, and 1 retailer in the Kabawo District of Muna Regency. The results of research that has been carried out are obtained as follows: (1) marketing channels involved in the marketing process from farmers to consumers, namely (a) marketing channel I, where the farmer sells his chickens to the retailer merchant, then the retailer forwards the sale directly to the end consumer and (b) the marketing channel II where the farmer sells his chicken to the collecting merchant, and then the collecting merchant forwards the sale to the end consumer. (2) marketing margin and percentage share of prices received by farmers (farmer's share) broiler chickens in Kabawo District muna regency run efficiently, where each channel shows with a farmer value s share above 50%, namely marketing channel I of 86.49% and marketing channel II of 80%.

Abstract

 This research aims to determine the process of processing tuna fish into smoked fish, which can produce a distinctive taste and aroma in Malalanda Village, Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency, and to determine the income obtained from the smoked fish processing business in fishing households in Malalanda Village, Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency and to determine the feasibility of the smoked fish processing business in Malalanda Village, Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency. This research was conducted in Malalanda Village, Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency. The research was conducted from December 2020 to August 2021. The sample in this study consisted of 11 respondents who work as smoked fish processors. Determination of the sample in this study was carried out using the census method. Namely, the entire population was sampled. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis, income analysis, and business feasibility. The research results show that processing tuna into smoked fish can produce a distinctive taste and aroma in Malalanda Village, Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency. Namely, in preliminary treatment, the fish to be smoked is sorted according to type, size, and freshness quality. It must be cleaned from dirt that can contaminate the product by washing with clean water and irrigating (removing the entrails and gills), clamping, drying, structuring, and smoking to preserve the fish and provide its color and distinctive smoky taste. Marketing. Income from the smoked fish processing business is IDR 2,487,209 per month. The R/C ratio value of 1.65 indicates that the smoked fish processing business is worthy of continuing development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the marketing channel patterns, analyse the marketing margins, and assess the marketing efficiency of Siompu oranges. The Simple Random Sampling technique will be used to ascertain the sample for the investigation. The participants and marketing firms in this research were selected via Snowball Sampling. The sample consisted of 34 farmers, 5 collectors, and 7 shopkeepers. The findings indicated the existence of two marketing channels for Siompu oranges in Siompu District: marketing channel I, which involves producers, collectors, and merchants and ultimately reaches the end customers. Marketing channel II begins with farmers and merchants and then promotes directly to end customers. The cost per kilogram in Marketing Channel I is IDR 1,398.69, while in Marketing Channel II it is IDR 323.69. The total margin per kilogram in Marketing Channel I is IDR 10,000, while in Marketing Channel II, it is IDR 5,000. The proportion of the farmers' share in Marketing Channel I is 80%, while in Marketing Channel II, it is 90%
