Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills for prospective entrepreneurs affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic in qualified hydroponic cultivation techniques. The method of implementing the activity is in the form of indoor training on the concepts and techniques of hydroponic cultivation. In addition, outdoor technical guidance is also carried out regarding the construction of hydroponic installations and cultivation practices, starting from making nutrition, sowing seeds, planting to harvesting. The method of field visits to successful hydroponic entrepreneurs is also carried out. Participants can properly follow the training materials and technical guidance on assembling installations and practicing hydroponic cultivation. The benefits and level of satisfaction of participants in participating in this activity reached a score of 8.75. This activity increases the interest of the training participants for hydroponic entrepreneurship. The condition of the harvested plants has not yielded the expected results, with yields still around 50% of the achievable potential. To ensure the sustainability of the activity and have a wider impact, the Konda Village Party should facilitate so that the participants of this activity can become tutors for other people who want to do hydroponic entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pupuk hayati Biofresh dan bahan organik Bokashi dalam meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman jagung terhadap penyakit karat daun Puccinia (Puccinia polysora). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Konda I, Kecamatan Konda, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Metode Percobaan menggunakan Rancakan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Pola Faktorial yang terdiri dari 8 kombinasi perlakuan dan ulangan 3 kali sehingga terdapat 24 unit percobaan. Parameter yang diamati adalah Intensitas Penyakit (IP) karat daun Puccinia, LDBKPP, IPP, dan Analisis Aktivitas Enzim Peroksidase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pupuk hayati Biofresh dan bahan organik Bokashi mampu meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman terhadap pengakit karat daun Puccinia pada tanaman jagung. Nilai LDBKPP terendah pada perlakuan A1B1 sebesar 220,37%.hari, IPP tertinggi pada perlakuan A1B1 sebesar 51,74% dan aktivitas enzim peroksidase tertinggi pada perlakuan A1B1 sebesar 0,13 unit.mg–1.

Abstract

Mitra dalam kegiatan Program Kemitraaan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah kelompok dasawisma Rambutan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada kelompok dasawisma dalam hal teknik budidaya hidroponik dan pemahaman pemasaran produk hidroponik, membuka wawasan anggota kelompok dasawisma dalam dalam hal pemanfaatan pekarangan secara produktif melalui wirausaha hidroponik untuk meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan menyeleggarakan pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis di dalam ruangan dan di luar ruangan. Pelatihan tersebut menyangkut konsep berwirausaha, teknik budidaya hidroponik yang dimulai dari transfer pengetahuan di dalam kelas. Selain itu dilakukan juga bimbingan teknis pembuatan perangkat dan perakitan instalasi hidroponik yang dilaksanakan di luar ruangan sehingga lebih memudahkan peserta pelatihan dalam memahami materi yang diberikan di dalam ruangan. Setelah instalasi dibuat maka dilakukan uji coba penanaman. Kondisi tanaman yang dipanen menunjukkan hasil pada kisaran 75% dari potensi yang dapat dicapai. Peserta dapat mengikuti dengan baik materi pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis perakitan instalasi serta praktek budidaya hidroponik. Peserta pelatihan telah memahami pentingnya pemanfaatan pekarangan yang ditunjukkan dengan kesediaan untuk menanam kembali tanaman hidroponik setelah panen perdana. Abstract

Masih kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap banyaknya potensi hasil pertanian dan pekarangan rumah yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal salah satunya adalah tanaman bayam. Kegiatan PKM pengolahan dan pengemasan keripik bayam bertujuan agar kelompok ibu-ibu dasa wisma Kelurahan Mokoau, Kota Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara. Target yang ingin dicapai adalah terjadinya perubahan paradigma dan prilaku dalam memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan sebagai tambahan pendapatan. Selain itu akan terciptanya peluang usaha baru karena mampu menghasilkan produk pertanian yang bergizi tinggi dan ramah lingkungan. Pelaksanaan PKM pengolahan dan pengemasan keripik bayam dilakukan dalam 3 tahap: (1) sosialisasi; (2) pemberian materi tentang motivasi berwirausaha, proses pengolahan dan pengemasan keripik bayam; dan (3) pelatihan melalui praktek langsung. Menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi interaktif untuk melakukan kegiatan PKM, sedangkan pelatihan pengolahan dan pengemasan keripik bayam dilaksanakan dengan metode demostrasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengolahan dan pengemasan keripik bayam yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan: (1) pemahaman dan minat ibu-ibu dasa wisma tentang kewirausahaan meningkat sebesar 86,5 persen; (2) pemahaman dan pengetahuan ibu-ibu dasa wisma tentang pengolahan dan pengemasan keripik bayam meningkat 83,5 persen, dan (3) pemahaman dan pengetahuan ibu-ibu dasa wisma tentang pengolahan dan pengemasan keripik bayam meningkat sebesar 81,5 persen. Pelatihan produk keripik bayam ini memberikan pengetahuan baru bagi ibu-ibu dasa wisma serta dapat mereka jadikan cemilan sehat dan dengan mudah dapat dibuat dirumah dengan bahan yang sangat sederhana.

Abstract

The training on processing and packaging of pineapple jam aims to make the group of women from the homestead Mokoau Village – Kendari City able to take advantage of the underutilized yard. The target is a change in paradigm and behaviour in utilizing yard land as additional income. In addition, new business opportunities will be created because they can produce agricultural products that provide added value and are environmentally friendly. The implementation of training on the processing and packaging of pineapple jam was carried out in 3 stages: (a) Socialization; (b) Providing material on entrepreneurial motivation, processing and packaging of pineapple jam; and (c) Training through hands-on practice. The training activities used the lecture method and interactive discussion, while the pineapple jam processing and packaging training was carried out using the demonstration method. Based on the results of the pineapple jam processing and packaging training activities that have been carried out in the show: (a) The understanding and interest of the women of the homestead women about entrepreneurship increased by 88.5 per cent; (b) The homestead women's understanding and knowledge of processing and packaging of pineapple jam increased by 86.5 per cent; and (c) The understanding and knowledge of the women of the homestead on the processing and packaging of pineapple jam increased by 89.5 per cent. Abstract

Karang taruna Woila yang menjadi mitra PKM tidak memiliki aktifitas produktif, padahal terdapat potensi anggrek serat endemik Sulawesi Tenggara yang hanya ditemukan di daerah ini. Tujuan kegiatan adalah melakukan (1) edukasi tentang organisasi karang taruna dan peluang usaha, (2) sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang anggrek serat dan tehnik kultur jaringan, serta (3) pelatihan dan praktik kultur jaringan. Kegiatan PKM yang bermitra dengan Karang Taruna Woila diawali dengan sosialisasi untuk mengenalkan kegiatan yang akan dilakukan di Kelurahan Woitombo, Kecamatan Mowewe, Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. Selain Tim PKM dan peserta dari anggota Karang Taruna Woila sejumlah 16 orang, juga hadir Sekretaris Camat dan Camat Mowewe, serta Kepala SMA Negeri 1 Mowewe. Pemaparan materi dilakukan oleh Tim PKM UHO dengan dua materi pokok, yaitu tentang (1) organisasi karang taruna dan peluang usaha; serta (2) anggrek serat, dan tehnik kultur jaringan. Untuk menguji pengetahuan dan persepsi peserta , dilakukan pre-test sebelum penyampaian materi, dan post-test setelah penyampaian materi. Kegiatan selanjutnya adalah pelatihan dan praktek tehnik kultur jaringan yang diikuti oleh empat orang anggota karang taruna terpilih di Laboratorium Invitro Fakultas Pertanian UHO di Kota Kendari dan di Laboratorium Balai Benih Induk Hortikultura (BBIH) Sulawesi Tenggara.di Konawe Selatan. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah kegiatan PKM ini (1) didukung oleh pemeritah setempat, dan SMA Negeri 1 Mowewe, (2) setelah mengikuti sosialisasi dan edukasi, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan, dan minat untuk melakukan budidaya anggrek serat, khususnya mengikuti pelatihan kultur jaringan, dan (3) pelatihan dan praktek kultur jaringan anggrek serat endemik Sulawesi Tenggara berhasil dilakukan oleh anggota Karang Taruna Woila.

Abstract

The problem sometimes encountered in partnership relations is the implementation of non-mutually beneficial partnerships between the core company and the plasma breeder. This occurs because the company has a stronger bargaining position than the breeder regarding capital, technology, markets, and management. So it is the company that determines the price at the breeder level, and the company also determines the price in the market. This has caused the company to control the price of broiler chickens in markets in Kendari City, thus enabling the development of a cartel to manage broiler chickens from upstream to downstream. In the long run, this research aims to improve the quality of the partnership relationship between companies and breeders in Kendari City. Especially the aims of this study are: 1) to describe the implementation of the partnership that the company is carrying out as the core with the breeder as the plasma, and 2) to analyze the income of the plasma breeder. This research was carried out in August–October 2022, and the research location was in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The sampling technique was a purposive method. The implementation of the partnership between the plasma breeder and the core company was analyzed using descriptive analysis. In contrast, the breeder's income level was analyzed using income analysis and R/C ratio analysis. The results showed that implementing the plasma breeder partnership and the core company was going well per the contract agreement. The income earned by the breeder in 1 production period is IDR 3,637,394, and the R/C ratio is 1,043, which means that the R/C ratio is greater than 1, so that partnership between the plasma breeder and the core company provides benefits for the breeder.

Abstract

Indonesia faces stiff competition in the era of global economy and free trade of horticultural products, especially fruits, where high quality and continuous availability are key. As the third largest pineapple producing country in the world, a supply chain approach is essential to understand the marketing aspects and ensure the efficiency of pineapple distribution, especially in Sabulakoa District, South Konawe, which has great local economic potential but is faced with the challenge of an inefficient supply chain, affecting prices and farmers' profits. This study aims to (1) determine the marketing channel, and (2) determine the magnitude of marketing efficiency in pineapple commodities in Sabulakoa District. This research is a qualitative and quantitative research with a population of 50 pineapple farmers and a sample of 33 people taken using simple random sampling technique through the Slovin formula. Research procedures were carried out by observation, interviews, and literature study, and data analysis using marketing margin analysis techniques and marketing efficiency. Based on the results of the study, pineapple marketing channels in Sabulakoa Subdistrict consist of channel I: pineapple farmers - retailers - consumers, channel II: pineapple farmers - intermediary traders - consumers, and channel III: pineapple farmers - intermediary traders - retailers - consumers. The efficiency value of marketing channel I is 71.43%, marketing channel II is 55.56%, and marketing channel III is 50%

Abstract

This study aims to find out 1) how much margin and profit rice traders in Amohalo Village, Baruga District, Kendari City and 2) whether rice marketing in Amohalo Village, Baruga District, Kendari City runs efficiently. This research has been carried out from January to March 2024. The population in this study is rice farmers in Baruga Village, Baruga District, Kendari City. Sampling was carried out using the Simple Random Sampling method. The research sample was 30 paddy rice farmers, while the determination of the trader sample used the Snowball method. The snowball sampling technique is a technique for taking data sources that at first the number is small and then becomes larger. This study uses marketing efficiency analysis (Farmer's Share). The results of the study are: 1) The margin at the mill is Rp2,000/Kg with a profit of Rp1,336/Kg, the wholesaler in channel I with a margin of Rp2,000/Kg and the profit is Rp1,693/Kg, the wholesaler in channel II with a margin of Rp2,000/Kg and the profit is Rp1,673/Kg and the small trader in channel II with a margin of Rp1,333/Kg and the profit is Rp625/Kg and 2) The marketing channel I has a marketing efficiency of 71.42% and the marketing channel II has a marketing efficiency of 65.21% so it can be concluded that both channels have been efficient
