Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Giving Question and Getting Answer terhadap hasil belajar biologi konsep sistem sirkulasi darah pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar; (2) Mengetahui hasil belajar biologi konsep sirkulasi darah pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian “Pretest Posttest Control Group Design”. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar dan sampel penelitian yaitu XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara sampling jenuh. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu model Giving Question and Getting Answer sedangkan variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan dari hasil tes belajar siswa melalui pretest dan posttest, yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah Normalitas Gain dan Independent Sample t-Test. Hasil menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pada kelompok eksperimen yaitu 77,04 sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol yaitu 65,45. Hasil uji analisis Independent Samples T-Test, diperoleh nilai signifikan p = 0,002 < α = 0,05. Hal ini berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, dengan demikian model Giving Question and Getting Answer berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar.

Abstract

This research is a class action research (Classroom Action Research) which aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the guided discovery method with a cooperative setting. The subjects of this study were students of class IX at MTSSMuhammadiyah Enrekang. This research was conducted in two cycles, each of which had three learning process meetings and one meeting where the learning outcomes test was conducted. The data collection technique used in this research is data on learning outcomes taken by giving tests at the end of each cycle, while data on teacher activities and student activities are taken using observation sheets during the learning process in the classroom. Based on the results of research and discussion for two cycles, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes have increased from cycle I to cycle II. These conclusions were obtained from: (1) The average increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes from cycle I was 68.11 to cycle II of 83.11. (2) The students' mathematics learning mastery increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely from 22 students increased to 35 students, and classically achieved 100% completeness. (3) Increased student activity in participating in learning from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

The Inside-Outside-Circle learning model or translated as the Small Circle-Large Circle learning model is a cooperative learning model in which two students in pairs from small and large circles share information. This information exchange can be done by all partners at the same time. Based on the results of the post test, it was found that the results of the mathematical problem solving abilities of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Kota Enrekang on the subject of statistics for the experimental class that applied the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model obtained an average value of 70.13, with a standard deviation of 9, 13 and the control class that applied the direct learning model obtained an average value of 62.42 with a standard deviation of 10.41. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that it can be concluded that the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who apply the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model are higher than the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who apply the direct learning model. this means that there is an influence of the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.
