Abstract

This research aims to produce learning tools on the RESIK learning model and scientific approach that is valid, practical, and effective. The learning tool used for home studying during the Covid-19 pandemic. Learning tools developed include 1) lesson plans used for, 2) Student Books, and 3) Worksheets. The research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah Enrekang with the research subjects being Class VII students in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The development of the learning tool refers to four D Models (4-D models) consisting of four stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The process of research and dissemination of instruments is done online by using the Zoom, Whatsapp, and Google Form. At the design stage, the draft RPP produced 4 meetings, Student Books, and Student Workbooks. The development stage through the expert validation stage and field trials is obtained: 1) The results of the expert validation showed that the lesson plan, Student Book, and Worksheet are good and can be used with minor revisions; 2) The results of the field trials showed that lesson plans, student books, and worksheets did not need to be revised. Whereas for positive student responses and learning outcomes tests seen from classical completeness obtained was quite feasible to use. The products from this research are valid, practical, and effective learning tools for set material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran mahasiswa yang ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian Hippocrates. Penelitian yang melibatkan mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika termasuk dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian diawali dengan pemberian tes kepribadian untuk memilih subjek penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil tes kepribadian tersebut siswa terbagi menjadi empat kelompok kepribadian, yaitu: sanguinis (S), koleris (K), melankholis (M), dan plegmatis (P). Selanjutnya, tes tertulis masalah matematika diberikan untuk memperoleh kemampuan penalaran dari subjek penelitian. Hasil tes tertulis dianalisis berdasarkan langkah-langkah pemecahan masalah yang dikemukakan oleh Polya dengan indikator-indikator kemampuan penalaran. Untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang kemampuan penalaran mahasiswa, dilakukan wawancara secara mendalam dengan mengacu pada hasil tes tertulis masalah matematika. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan kemampuan penalaran mahasiswa berdasarkan tipe kepribadianya. Tipe S cenderung menggunakan simbol matematika dalam menyelesaikan masalah, dan mempunyai lebih dari satu cara pada setiap masalah yang diberikan. Tipe K menyelesaikan masalah langsung pada inti pertanyaan dan mempunyai lebih dari satu cara penyelesaian. Tipe M cenderung memerinci masalah dalam bentuk tulisan dan hanya mempunyai satu cara penyelesaian. Tipe P mampu menyampaikan langkah penyelesaian masalah dengan lengkap dan jelas, serta mempunyai lebih dari satu cara penyelesaian. Hasil penelitian ini menjadi referensi bagi dosen dalam menyusun dan mengembangkan program perkuliahan yang mengakomodasi tipe kepribadian dan meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran mahasiswa melalui strategi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Google Classroom is a platform in the form of an LMS (learning management system) which is provided free or unpaid by Google. Google classroom is integrated with email, so it's easy to use (user friendly). Google classroom makes it easy for teachers and lecturers to do distance learning, so that learning becomes efficient, effective and interactive. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method (Maolani & Cahyana, 2016). The quantitative approach used is in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The purpose of this study is to describe student learning using the Google Classroom Application in Discrete Mathematics courses during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research carried out from the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year to 10 students in the fifth semester of the Discrete Mathematics course, the Mathematics Education Study Program. useful for helping plan events, send surveys, give students or others quizzes, or gather simple information in an efficient way. Interviews were conducted at the end of online teaching and learning activities. Data analysis was performed using excel to calculate the percentage and average value. Based on the indicators of the application of the Google Classroom Application, it shows that the average student answer is 75.5% agree and 25.5% disagree. These results show that the application of Google Classroom gets good responses from students, so that it can be used for learning in Discrete Mathematics courses.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of micro teaching learning in the Mathematics Education study program at the University of Muhammadiyah Enrekang (UNIMEN) in improving the character or personality of students who have taken micro teaching courses. This type of research is ex-post facto with a qualitative approach. Respondents in this study were students of the UNIMEN Mathematics Education study program who had taken micro teaching courses and whose status was still active. Data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and presentation of documentation. Qualitative data analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that micro eaching plays a positive role in improving the character or personality of students who have taken micro teaching courses. Through micro teaching activities, students not only gain knowledge and experience regarding teaching, but also gain character or personality improvement in it, namely having an attitude of discipline, responsibility, creativity, and independence.

Abstract

This research is a class action research (Classroom Action Research) which aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the guided discovery method with a cooperative setting. The subjects of this study were students of class IX at MTSSMuhammadiyah Enrekang. This research was conducted in two cycles, each of which had three learning process meetings and one meeting where the learning outcomes test was conducted. The data collection technique used in this research is data on learning outcomes taken by giving tests at the end of each cycle, while data on teacher activities and student activities are taken using observation sheets during the learning process in the classroom. Based on the results of research and discussion for two cycles, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes have increased from cycle I to cycle II. These conclusions were obtained from: (1) The average increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes from cycle I was 68.11 to cycle II of 83.11. (2) The students' mathematics learning mastery increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely from 22 students increased to 35 students, and classically achieved 100% completeness. (3) Increased student activity in participating in learning from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

The Inside-Outside-Circle learning model or translated as the Small Circle-Large Circle learning model is a cooperative learning model in which two students in pairs from small and large circles share information. This information exchange can be done by all partners at the same time. Based on the results of the post test, it was found that the results of the mathematical problem solving abilities of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Kota Enrekang on the subject of statistics for the experimental class that applied the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model obtained an average value of 70.13, with a standard deviation of 9, 13 and the control class that applied the direct learning model obtained an average value of 62.42 with a standard deviation of 10.41. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that it can be concluded that the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who apply the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model are higher than the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who apply the direct learning model. this means that there is an influence of the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan bahan ajar matematika khususnya materi kesebangunan pada siswa kelas IX2 SMP Negeri 2 Enrekang melalui alat peraga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 Siklus dan setiap Siklusnya dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 pertemuan termasuk tes setiap akhir siklus. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan tes penguasaan materi kesebangunan pada setiap akhir siklus, observasi dilakukan setiap proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan tanggapan siswa diberikan pada akhir Siklus II. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif. Adapunhasil penelitian yaitu: a). Meningkatkan penguasaan materi kesebangunan oleh siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatkan skor rata-rata hasil tes yaitu pada tes Siklus I sebesar 65,64 berada pada kategori tinggi dengan standar deviasi 7,239 meningkat menjadi 73,28 berada pada kategori tinggi dengan standar deviasi 8,379 pada Siklus II. b). Terjadi peningkatan keaktifan  dan aktifitas siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar sesuai dengan lembar observasi yang dilakukan selama penelitian. c). Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat paraga dapat mewujudkan situasi pembelajaran yang menarik, menyenangkan dan bermakna bagi siswa, hal ini sesuai dengan hasil refleksi berdasarkan tanggapan siswa. Dari hasil analisis, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi kesebangunan pada siswa.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan untuk menganalisis fakta dengan obyektif untuk membuat penelitian yang masuk akal dan logis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan temuan penelitian terkait dengan penggunaan metode pengajaran berbasis proyek dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur (literature review). Dengan metode ini, peneliti mengidentifikasi artikel relevan dengan fokus penelitian, yakni 31 artikel yang sesuai yaitu sebanyak 10 artikel yang termasuk Jurnal Internasional yang diakui Scopus dan 21 artikel yang termasuk Jurnal Nasional yang diakui Sinta yang diperoleh dari Google Scholar yang terbit pada tahun 2019-2024. Dari penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Pertama, penggunaan kegiatan proyek dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Kedua, materi ajar yang menggunakan proyek terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Ketiga, terdapat hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan pembelajaran matematika. Keempat, pembelajaran berbasis proyek memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar dan kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kritis. Kelima, penggunaan kegiatan proyek dalam pembelajaran matematika membawa manfaat untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
