Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan problem posing matematika berdasarkan gaya kognitif field dependent dan field independent di SMP Negeri 4 Enrekang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 4 Enrekang selama kurang lebih 1 bulan yakni mulai bulan Februari sampai Maret 2022. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII C SMPN 4 Enrekang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan intstrumen Group Embeded Figures Test (GEFT) dan instrument Pengajuan Masalah Matematika. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kemampuan pengajuan masalah matematika siswa ditinjau dari kaya kognitif field dependent dan field independent pada materi penyajian data kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Enrekang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kemampuan siswa GKFD dalam mengajukan masalah dengan 2 informasi yang telah diberikan pada tes pengajuan masalah hanya dapat memenuhi 2 kategori kemampuan pengajuan masalah, yaitu reformulasi masalah dan rekonstruksi masalah. 2) Kemampuan siswa GKFI dalam mengajukan masalah dengan 2 informasi yang telah diberikan pada tes pengajuan masalah sudah memenuhi semua kategori kemampuan pengajuan masalah secara lengkap, yaitu reformulasi masalah, rekonstruksi masalah, dan imitasi masalah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan bahan ajar matematika khususnya materi kesebangunan pada siswa kelas IX2 SMP Negeri 2 Enrekang melalui alat peraga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 Siklus dan setiap Siklusnya dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 pertemuan termasuk tes setiap akhir siklus. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan tes penguasaan materi kesebangunan pada setiap akhir siklus, observasi dilakukan setiap proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan tanggapan siswa diberikan pada akhir Siklus II. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif. Adapunhasil penelitian yaitu: a). Meningkatkan penguasaan materi kesebangunan oleh siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatkan skor rata-rata hasil tes yaitu pada tes Siklus I sebesar 65,64 berada pada kategori tinggi dengan standar deviasi 7,239 meningkat menjadi 73,28 berada pada kategori tinggi dengan standar deviasi 8,379 pada Siklus II. b). Terjadi peningkatan keaktifan  dan aktifitas siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar sesuai dengan lembar observasi yang dilakukan selama penelitian. c). Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat paraga dapat mewujudkan situasi pembelajaran yang menarik, menyenangkan dan bermakna bagi siswa, hal ini sesuai dengan hasil refleksi berdasarkan tanggapan siswa. Dari hasil analisis, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi kesebangunan pada siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of micro teaching learning in the Mathematics Education study program at the University of Muhammadiyah Enrekang (UNIMEN) in improving the character or personality of students who have taken micro teaching courses. This type of research is ex-post facto with a qualitative approach. Respondents in this study were students of the UNIMEN Mathematics Education study program who had taken micro teaching courses and whose status was still active. Data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and presentation of documentation. Qualitative data analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that micro eaching plays a positive role in improving the character or personality of students who have taken micro teaching courses. Through micro teaching activities, students not only gain knowledge and experience regarding teaching, but also gain character or personality improvement in it, namely having an attitude of discipline, responsibility, creativity, and independence.

Abstract

This research is a class action research (Classroom Action Research) which aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the guided discovery method with a cooperative setting. The subjects of this study were students of class IX at MTSSMuhammadiyah Enrekang. This research was conducted in two cycles, each of which had three learning process meetings and one meeting where the learning outcomes test was conducted. The data collection technique used in this research is data on learning outcomes taken by giving tests at the end of each cycle, while data on teacher activities and student activities are taken using observation sheets during the learning process in the classroom. Based on the results of research and discussion for two cycles, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes have increased from cycle I to cycle II. These conclusions were obtained from: (1) The average increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes from cycle I was 68.11 to cycle II of 83.11. (2) The students' mathematics learning mastery increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely from 22 students increased to 35 students, and classically achieved 100% completeness. (3) Increased student activity in participating in learning from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

The Inside-Outside-Circle learning model or translated as the Small Circle-Large Circle learning model is a cooperative learning model in which two students in pairs from small and large circles share information. This information exchange can be done by all partners at the same time. Based on the results of the post test, it was found that the results of the mathematical problem solving abilities of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Kota Enrekang on the subject of statistics for the experimental class that applied the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model obtained an average value of 70.13, with a standard deviation of 9, 13 and the control class that applied the direct learning model obtained an average value of 62.42 with a standard deviation of 10.41. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that it can be concluded that the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who apply the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model are higher than the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who apply the direct learning model. this means that there is an influence of the Inside-Outside-Circle learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.
