Abstract

This study aims to describe the dynamics of entrepreneurial decision making and the development of entrepreneurial spirit in students who are self-employed. The researcher used phenomenology to understand the psychological dynamics in students who are self-employed. The results of the study are starting from the subject decision making of entrepreneurship is related to several factors, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors related to the desire to be independent to meet needs, want to help, like challenges and seek freedom. External factors related to family and other people. This research found that an entrepreneur must have a strong commitment and consistency towards his business. An entrepreneur should also have good interpersonal skills, this is important for building relationships. Even so, the entrepreneurial spirit in students still needs to be improved, especially on commitment, consistency, and decision making.

Abstract

Shar’i product and service become trending as business model inIndonesia. However, enthusiasm of the Muslims to do entrepreneurial activity by implementing Islamic ethics is relatively low. Some Muslims are not enterprising based on Islamic intention which becomes an indication of Islamic values internalization. This research aimed to understand how Islamic values shape entrepreneurial intention on Muslim entrepreneurs. Using descriptive qualitative approach, this research involved five participants. Data were collected using semistructured interviews and analyzed using five stages of analysis: open coding, selective coding, axial coding, and theoretical coding. Entrepreneurial intention ofMuslim is based on four orientations: 1) to live based on sunnah, 2) to seek blessings, 3) to spread messages of Islam, and 4) to seek freedom. Islamic in tentions lead to Islamic business management practice which is prioritizing business ethics, excellent service, and solidarity in Muslim community. This research expands knowledge regarding religion contribution in psychology of entrepreneurship.Keywords: entrepreneurial, intention, Islamic, entrepreneurship, Muslim.Produk dan layanan yang syar’i tengah menjadi tren model bisnis diIndonesia. Namun, semangat Muslim untuk berwirausaha dengan menerapkan etika yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam relatif rendah. Tidak semua Muslim berwirausaha berdasarkan intensi yang Islami padahal itu adalah wujud internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami sejauh mana peran nilai-nilai keislaman membentuk intensi berwirausaha pada wirausahawan Muslim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan melibatkan lima orang partisipan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan empat tahap analisis yaitu: open coding, selective coding,axial coding, dan theoretical coding. Intensi wirausaha Muslim berdasar pada empatorientasi, yaitu: 1) menjalankan sunnah, 2) mencari keberkahan, 3) berdakwah dan membantu sesama Muslim, dan 4) mencari kebebasan. Intensi yang Islami mengarahkan pada praktik manajemen usaha yang Islami dengan memprioritaskan etika bisnis, pelayanan yang unggul, dan solidaritas dalam komunitas Muslim.Penelitian mengembangkan wawasan terkait peran agama dalam psikologikewirausahaanKata kunci: berwirausaha, Intensi, Islami, kewirausahaan, Muslim

Abstract

The increase use of internet during the Covid-19 pandemic has caused various problems such as internet addiction. Children and adolescents are less able to use the internet positively and are exposed to hoax news and other negative contents. Based on the results of the FGD with the PKK (Family Welfare and Empowerment) members in Magelang Regency, it is known that the problem above occurred also in Paremono Mungkid Village, Magelang Regency. For this reason, a digital literacy program was carried out. This community service program aims to overcome problematic internet use aimed at parents and children. This socialization program consists of a series of digital literacy counseling and training activities, namely: positive internet counseling and poster making training for children, positive parenting counseling in the digital era and the dark side of cyberspace for parents, counseling on how to prevent hoaxes and internet addiction, and counseling session about age-appropriate use of smartphones and internet. As a result, based on a survey of community satisfaction with program recipients, parents and children were able to understand the material provided. Children are satisfied with the activities of using the internet and smartphones for creative and productive activities. This program produced a number of outcomes, namely counseling material modules and children's creative works.

Abstract

The considerations for this research are (1) growing interest in reading is the duty of parents, but what forms of parental involvement are not widely understood. (2) the dynamics of the problem of parenting skills are very interesting, progressive and urgent to continue to be studied because the acceleration of the digital era requires parents to be more responsive and literate (3) there are still few studies that discuss the development of parental involvement instruments in fostering reading interest both quantitatively and qualitatively. So that developing an instrument that can provide information on the extent of parental involvement in fostering reading interest is the aim of this study. The research stages are carried out by (1) affirming the measuring area; (2) writing items; (3) testing; and (4) psychometric analysis using quantitative methods. Therefore, this research instrument uses a questionnaire prepared based on the literature review process that supports the research variables. Furthermore, the questionnaire is tested for content validity by an expert (Expert Judgment) to conduct a study and selection of items for each indicator. In this process, 40 items from 82 items were selected, as a result of this study. The trial was carried out on the research subjects, namely parents who have children aged from early childhood to elementary school with a total of 521 respondents. While the reliability test of this questionnaire shows the Cronbach Alpha coefficient = 0.941, which means that in psychomoteric analysis this instrument has perfect internal consistency. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the instrument developed can measure the extent to which parents are involved in fostering children's reading interest.

Abstract

Motivation is an encouragement or enthusiasm to move forward. Entrepreneurial motivation in students is the encouragement or effort of students to make creative, innovative, and useful efforts by developing ideas and resources to find opportunities and improve life, and engage in business competition. At this time technological developments cause changes in culture and people's daily lives, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic where all activities are carried out indoors. Many entrepreneurs who are heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic are none other than students who are also entrepreneurs. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the entrepreneurial motivation of students during the pandemic and the things that cause them to persist and not give up. By method. The research design used is a qualitative case study. With the subject of 3 students who are entrepreneurs. The data collection technique was carried out by direct interviews in the Campus 1 environment of the Muhammadiyah University of Magelang. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The results of this study show that the impact of the pandemic on entrepreneurship is very large. Starting from the lack of customers to declining income, but there are several factors that arise in students to remain entrepreneurship, including economic factors that must be fulfilled as well as hobbies and good business prospects for the future.

Abstract

The government made policies, namely learning from home, working from home, and worshiping at home, and implementing social distancing to reduce the spread of Covid-19. This was done because the cases experienced in Indonesia, especially continued to increase, even though for a while in several places there was a lockdown and PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions), for example in DKI Jakarta and the Regional Government of Central Java had made a policy on February 6-7 to stay in home alone. The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on almost all aspects of life. The stress experienced by workers will affect their emotions, thought processes, and their physical condition. The factors that trigger stress at work are the uncertainty of the situation when the pandemic ends, economic problems, salary cuts, or layoffs. The purpose of this study is to gather information through literature studies related to stress management in social entrepreneurs during the pandemic. This research method uses a systematic literature review by summarizing the results of previous studies. The results of the literature review conducted show that social entrepreneurship adheres more to social values and social welfare, where this arises because of a greater desire to help the community's economy, so that volunteerism to achieve goals can be used as coping stress to manage stress.

Abstract

Social entrepreneurship is an activity to identify social problems and use entrepreneurial principles to create efforts to achieve change in social interests. In running a business, motivation is needed to keep doing what has been established. This study aims to gather information through literature studies regarding how social entrepreneurs are able to survive running their economies during a pandemic. This research method uses a systematic literature review by summarizing the results of previous studies. Based on this study, it was found that there are five aspects that influence the motivation of social entrepreneurship, including: personal fulfillment, helping society, non-monetary focus, achieving orientation, and closeness to social problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument for the closeness of children with their parents. Proximity describes the form of a reciprocal relationship, namely mutual influence between parents and children. Aspects of closeness are emotional bonding, openness, the role of parents, respect, support, and figure. The scale development stage begins with collecting theories regarding the general closeness and closeness of children to parents. This sample uses a snowball random sampling technique. The development of instrument items is based on expert judgment using a Likert scale. The item design of the instrument consists of 75 statement items. Then after analyzing the assessment by the expert by determining the scale value and quality of the statement items, 20 selected statement items were produced. In the development, the researchers used respondents in the form of adolescents aged 16-19 years with the number of successfully collected n = 80. Researchers used validity and reliability tests to determine whether the items made were valid and reliable. The results of this study found Cronbach's alpha with a total of 20 items of 0.917. In conclusion, from the results of these calculations it can be seen that the closeness of children with parents is very good.

Abstract

Pandangan tradisional memahami kewirausahaan sebagai aktivitasbisnis dan ekonomi semata. Dalam konsep terbaru, kewirausahaanbersifat multidimensional dan dapat didekati dari berbagai perspektifbidang ilmu. Psikologi pada khususnya berusaha memahami prosesmental dan perilaku wirausaha, menekankan adanya dimensi sosialpsikologisdari aktivitas wirausaha. Psikologi mendekatikewirausahaan salah satunya dengan pendekatan sifat untukmengungkap karakter kepribadian individu wirausahawan yangberperan dalam keberhasilan ataupun kegagalan bisnis. Penelitian inibertujuan membangun konsep karakter wirausaha berdasarkan kajianterhadap literatur-literatur psikologi kewirausahaan terkini. Penelitianini merupakan tahap pertama dari studi pengembangan SkalaKarakter Wirausaha di UM Magelang. Berdasarkan studi literaturpsikologi, ditemukan empat ciri kepribadian yang menonjol pada diriseorang wirausahawan, yaitu: motivasi berprestasi, keinovatifan,kecenderungan mengambil risiko, kemandirian, dan efikasi diri.Penelitian ini membangun konsep kelima karakter tersebutberdasarkan teori dan riset-riset sebelumnya dan alat ukur yang sudahada. Konseptualisasi karakter wirausaha ini merupakan dasarmerancang Skala Karakter Wirausaha yang dapat digunakan untukpengumpulan data dalam penelitian-penelitian psikologikewirausahaan dan pengembangan pendidikan wirausaha diIndonesia.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar adalah segala usaha didalam diri manusia yang menimbulkan, menjamin, kelangsungan, serta memberi arah pada kegiatan-kegiatan belajar sehingga tujuan yang di kehendaki dapat tercapai. Dalam proses pembelajaran motivasi merupakan salah satu aspek dinamis yang sangat penting. Hal ini selaras dengan maraknya dijumpai siswa/i yang kurang berprestasi dikarenakan rendahnya motivasi belajar yang dimiliki. Demikian, faktor instrinsik dan ekstrensik dapat merubah kondisi motivasi belajar yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun skala motivasi belajar pada remaja. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 4 tahap: persiapan, penulisan aitem, try out dan uji psikometrik. Uji validitas dilakukan dengan mengacu pada rumus V Aiken’s (v ≥0,70) dan uji reabilitas menggunakan metode internal konsistensi alpha cronbach (r ≥ 0,3). Berdasarkan uji try out dengan N = 105(23 siswa dan 82 siswi) diperoleh nilai α = 0,886 dengan aitem akhir sebanyak 24, yang terdiri dari 10 aitem favorable dan 14 aitem unfavorabel. Skala ini dapat digunakan untuk mengukur motivasi belajar.
