Abstract

Cognitive dimensions development is one of the objective of education. This research aimed to identify the structure, evaluate the focus, analyze the conformity toward the referred adoption standard, and evaluate the emphasis of thinking skill order of cognitive processes in the e-textbook for 4th grade students. Evaluation was carried out for the curriculum 2013 e-textbooks published in 2014, including theme 2, 3 and 4. Identification of cognitive process dimensions was carried out using revised Bloom’s taxonomy, while the conformity was anayzed using Alzu’bi’s preference. Statistical analysis was carried out with chi-square test. The result showed that the structure of cognitive dimensions in three examined e-textbooks were not consistent one another. Theme 2 emphasized on the high order thinking skill focused on the creating dimension. Theme 3 emphasized on the low order thinking skill focused on the understanding dimension. While theme 3 facilitated both thinking skill orders with a little tendency to the evaluating dimension. There was no conformity of the cognitive dimensions structure of the three themes toward the referred adoption standard. Statistical analysis showed that there was significant difference on the structure of cognitive dimensions between themes, and between each themes and the referred adoption standard.

Abstract

Buku teks pelajaran merupakan pedoman utama dalam pendidikan dan pengembangan kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat kompleksitas pertanyaan dalam buku teks elektronik kurikulum 2013 kelas IV SD tema 2 dan menganalisis target luaran pengembangan kognitif siswa. Buku teks yang dikaji yaitu buku teks elektronik terbitan tahun 2017 yang dapat diakses pada halaman https://bukusekolahdigital.com. Penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif eksploratif. Penelitian dilakukan denga mengidentifikasi kata kerja dan mengelompokkannya sesuai dengan taksonomi Bloom. Tingkat kompleksitas dinilai berdasarkan jumlah level kognitif dalam setiap pertanyaan, sedangkan luaran pengembangan kognitif dinilai berdasarkan kata kerja yang paling sering muncul dari seluruh item pertanyaan. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan chi-square dan korelasi Pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kompleksitas soal yang terdapat pada buku teks elektronik kurikulum 2013 untuk kelas IV SD tema 2 termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan dominasi kognitif level C3 dan C4. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa proporsi soal untuk setiap level kognitif dan proporsi tingkat kompleksitas soal tidak menyebar secara merata. Analisis tabulasi silang menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara proporsi jumlah soal berdasarkan target kognitif dan tingkat kompleksitas. Analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa jumlah kata kerja yang teridentifikasi berkaitan erat dengan jumlah pertanyaan dalam setiap level kognitif. Analisis terhadap target luaran pembelajaran pada buku teks kelas IV tema 2 lebih terfokus pada level kognitif C5 dengan proses kognitif berupa “menyimpulkan”. Peningkatan kualitas buku teks diperlukan untuk mendorong pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine influence of NHT learning model using box puzzle media toward student learning outcomes on IPA subjects class IV SD Muhammadiyah Jetis Salaman Magelang.The research design was quasy experimental design with one group pretest posttest model. The research variable was IPA learning outcomes. Data analysis used was parametric statistical techniques paired sampel t-test. The research subject were 15 students class IV SD Muhammadiyah Jetis Salaman Magelang. The data collection methods used test questions. The results of this study indicated that NHT learning model using box puzzle media effective to increased student learning outcomes on IPA subjects class IV SD Muhammadiyah Jetis Salaman Magelang. The increase student learning outcomes was evidenced by the result of test analysis paired sampel t-test with the probability of the sign value (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,005, that mean was significant difference between before and after being given treatment with HT learning model using box puzzle media. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the application of NHT learning model using box puzzle media influenced to student learning outcomes on IPA subjects Keyword: NHT learning model using box puzzle media, learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pragmatis kritis yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana representasi kekuasaan pada bentuk gramatikal tindak tutur guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 4 Pandak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa tuturan guru selama pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, sedangkan data penelitian ini berupa representasi kekuasaan yang terdapat pada tindak tutur guru saat proses kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa representasi kekuasaan guru ditunjukkan melalui penggunaan (1) kalimat positif-negatif, (2) modus kalimat, (3) modalitas, dan (4) pronomina persona.Kata kunci: representasi, kekuasaan, bentuk gramatikal, tindak tuturABSTRACTThis research includes critical pragmatic research, which aims to describe how the representation of power in the grammatical form of teacher speech acts in learning Indonesian in Pandak 4 Public Middle School. This type of research is qualitative research with content analysis methods. The source of this research data is in the form of teacher speech during Indonesian language learning, while the research data is in the form of representation of power contained in teacher speech acts during the process of learning Indonesian. The results of the study show that the representation of teacher power is shown through the use of (1) positive-negative sentences, (2) mode of sentences, (3) modalities, and (4) personal pronouns.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problematika pembelajaran bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia melalui studi pustaka. Metodologi penelitian dengan melakukan literature review dari beberapa artikel baik internasional maupun nasional yang dicari dengan mempergunakan google scholar dan sciencedirect. Terdapat 25 artikel dengan kata kunci pembelajaran online, pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, dan pandemic Covid-19. Dari 25 artikel, hanya 18 yang diteliti. Hasil review pada 9 artikel internasional dan 9 nasional menyebutkan kendala yang ditemukan dengan cara online adalah kesulitan jaringan, keterbatasan kuota internet, materi yang tidak tersampaikan dengan jelas dan lengkap, dan pemberian tugas yang terlalu banyak. Adapun aplikasi yang digunakan oleh guru selama pandemi yaitu WhatsApps, WhatsApp Web, Google Kelas, Grup Google, TeamLink, Microsoft Teams, Kaizala Microsoft, Zoom Meeting & Webinar, Youtube, Google Hangouts, dan lainnya. Selain itu, guru bisa melakukan strategi pemecahan masalah guru meliputi melaksanakan blended learning, membuat kelompok belajar, kunjungan rutin kepada siswa, menggandeng orang tua, adaptasi rencana pengajaran, optimalisasi media elektronik, dan pemanfaatan media kreatif.

Abstract

The considerations for this research are (1) growing interest in reading is the duty of parents, but what forms of parental involvement are not widely understood. (2) the dynamics of the problem of parenting skills are very interesting, progressive and urgent to continue to be studied because the acceleration of the digital era requires parents to be more responsive and literate (3) there are still few studies that discuss the development of parental involvement instruments in fostering reading interest both quantitatively and qualitatively. So that developing an instrument that can provide information on the extent of parental involvement in fostering reading interest is the aim of this study. The research stages are carried out by (1) affirming the measuring area; (2) writing items; (3) testing; and (4) psychometric analysis using quantitative methods. Therefore, this research instrument uses a questionnaire prepared based on the literature review process that supports the research variables. Furthermore, the questionnaire is tested for content validity by an expert (Expert Judgment) to conduct a study and selection of items for each indicator. In this process, 40 items from 82 items were selected, as a result of this study. The trial was carried out on the research subjects, namely parents who have children aged from early childhood to elementary school with a total of 521 respondents. While the reliability test of this questionnaire shows the Cronbach Alpha coefficient = 0.941, which means that in psychomoteric analysis this instrument has perfect internal consistency. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the instrument developed can measure the extent to which parents are involved in fostering children's reading interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Course Review Horay learning with the help ofletter puzzle media on the vocabulary mastery of second grade students at SD NegeriSurodadi 3 Candimulyo.This study uses a pre-experimental design method type one group pretest-posttest design(single group initial test-posttest). The subjects in this study were saturated samples ortotal samples, namely by involving data collection carried out using the pretest posttestresult assessment technique. The validation test of the pretest posttest results assessmentinstrument was carried out using expert validation. The instrument research test uses avalidity test to test the results of the pretest posttest from the out-of-sample test results,while the instrument reliability test uses the Cronbach Alpha formula. Hypothesis testusing wilcoxon test. Data analysis used non-parametric statistical techniques, namely thez-test or z-test with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 program.The results of the research data using the z-test or the Wilcoxon signed test, whichobtained a Z value of -3.559 and an asymp sig value. (2-tailed) 0.001 is less than 5% (0.05).Based on the results of data analysis, the average pretest value was 52.5, while the posttestscore was 77.5. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of CourseReview Horay learning aided by letter puzzle media has an effect on students' vocabularymastery.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of learning SAS with the media Paflaca to theability to read the beginning of the 1st grade students of primary School in the Village of Tegalarum. This research is an experimental research on the design of the Pre-Experimental Design type of One-Group Pretest-posttest. This research was conducted in the Village of Tegalarum Kecamatan Borobudur, Magelang Regency. Before carrying outresearch in the village the researchers conducted observations of the pre-study onstudent Elementary school class I found the problem is reading the beginning of the stilllow. The subject of this research is the students of class I in the Village of Tegalarumwhich amounted to 16 students, which consisted of 10 female students and 6 malestudents. Data collection using the method of the test. This test is used before and after agiven treatment and the analysis used in this research is the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Testwith programSPSS version of 25.00. This research was conducted in the month of July2021. The results showed that the method of learning SAS-assisted media Paflaca affectthe ability to read the beginning. Evidence of improved student learning outcomes,namely the presence of a significant difference between the value of pretest and the valueof the posttest, namely the average value of pretest 58,1 while the average value ofposttest were 79.1 and the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained value (2-tailed)-3,551 with a significance value of 0.000.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop a product of Home Activity-Based Learning Worksheets with Utilization of Media Around Children. The research design uses the Borg and Gall R&D Model which consists of 10 implementation steps. The flow of research implementation is in the form of Research and information collection, Planning, Develop preliminary form of product, Preliminary field testing, Operational field testing, Operational product revision, Main field testing, Main Product Revision, Final Product Revision, Dissemination and implementation. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Implementation of research at SD Karangmojo, Trirenggo, Bantul. The result of the research is the creation of a product in the form of Home Activity-Based Learning Worksheets with Utilization of Media Around Children which has been tested for its validity and effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the PQRST method assisted by Sentence Puzzle Media on Reading Comprehension Skills for Grade 4 Students at SDN Banyakan, Mertoyudan District, Magelang District.The research design design uses a Pre-Experimental with the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Samples taken as many as 25 students through saturated sampling technique. The data collection method used in this research is the performance test. The validity test of intrumen by expert and using with SPSS 24.0 for windows like that reliability test. Prerequisite analysis test consist end from normality test, while data analysis used parametric statistical techniques, namely the Paired Sample T-test with the help of SPSS 24.0 for windows.The results showed the reading comprehension skills of the fourth grade students of SDN Banyakan before using the PQRST method assisted by sentence puzzle media (Pre test), the highest reading comprehension skills were 66, while the lowest was 13 with the average student being 41.20. The results of reading comprehension skills after using the PQRST method with sentence puzzle media (Post test) obtained the highest score of 87, the lowest score of 40 with the average reading comprehension skills of students was 62.76. Based on the results of the study showed that the PQRST method assisted by sentence puzzle media had a significant effect on reading comprehension skills of fourth grade students of SDN Banyakan. This is indicated by the tcount value of 16.800 with a sig = 0.00 (p <0.05).
