Abstract

Rizobakteri merupakan kelompok bakteri yang aktif mengkolonisasi akar tanaman, meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan mengendalikan patogen tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh isolat rizobakteri indigenous  terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan kelapa sawit dan mengendalikan penyakit busuk pangkal batang di pre-nursery kelapa sawit secara in planta serta karakterisasi kemampuan antagonisnya secara in vitro. Penelitian bersifat eksperimental terdiri atas 3 tahap dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL): (1) Isolasi dan karakterisasi isolat rizobakteri indigenous  di Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, (2) Pengujian isolat rizobakteri indigenous  (RBI) sebagai plant growth promoting rihzobacteria (PGPR), dan untuk pengendalian G.boninense di pre-nursery kelapa sawit terdiri dari 29 perlakuan (27 isolat RBI, tanpa inokulasi G. boninense sebagai kontrol positif, dan inokulasi G. boninense sebagai kontrol negatif) dengan masing-masing 5 ulangan, serta (3) Pengujian aktivitas antagonisme isolat RBI terhadap G. boninense. Data dianalisis dengan sidik ragam, apabila berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji Least Significance Different (LSD) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan diperoleh tiga isolat terbaik (R10 2.2, R9 2.1, dan R10 2.3) yang mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan kelapa sawit dan menekan perkembangan penyakit busuk pangkal batang G.boninense secara in planta dan in vitro.ABSTRACTRhizobacteria is a group of bacteria that actively colonize plant roots, increase growth and control plant pathogen. The objective of the research was to obtain indigenous rhizobacteria isolate (RBI) to increase growth and control basal stem rot on oil palm seedlings in in planta and characterize of antagonistic ability in in vitro. Experimental research consisted of 3 stages by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD): (1) Isolation of indigenous rhizobacteria in West Pasaman region, (2) Indigenous rhizobacteria isolate testing as a plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and to control of G. boninense on pre nursery of oil palm consisted of 29 treatments (27 RBI isolates, without G. boninense inoculation as positive control, and G. boninense inoculation as negative control) with 5 replications each. (3) Testing of RBI isolate antagonism activity towards G. boninense. Data were analyzed by variance, if the result significantly different, it was continued by using Least Significance Different (LSD) at 5% level. The results showed that best three isolates (R10 2.2, R9 2.1 and R10 2.3) were able to increase growth of palm oil and to suppress the development of G.boninense basal stem rot in in planta and in in vitro.

Abstract

Effectiveness of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling approach combined with behavioral theory in addressing behavioral and spiritual problems among adolescents at MTs Muhammadiyah Curup. Behavioral theory emphasizes that behavior can be shaped through stimulus and response using reinforcement and punishment principles. Within the Islamic framework, this approach is enriched by spiritual values derived from the Qur'an and Hadith, thus addressing not only behavioral aspects but also the spiritual dimension of faith. This research employed a library research method alongside documentation, observation, and interviews in the field. The findings indicate that the combination of behavioral theory and Islamic counseling significantly aids students in improving discipline, responsibility, and emotional control, while also enhancing spiritual values and religious motivation. This approach is considered effective as it reaches the students' internal awareness and fosters consistent personal transformation. The study recommends that the Islamic Guidance and Counseling approach be continuously implemented in Islamic educational settings to support adolescents in overcoming behavioral and spiritual challenges.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia yang berperan penting dalam menjamin keberlangsungan hidup secara bermartabat. Salah satu tahapan penting dalam pendidikan formal adalah proses pemilihan sekolah lanjutan setelah lulus dari Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Namun, kenyataannya banyak siswa yang mengalami kebingungan dan masalah dalam menentukan pilihan sekolah lanjutan karena keterbatasan informasi, pengaruh lingkungan, dan kurangnya bimbingan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap permasalahan siswa SMP 8 Sarolangun dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan dengan menerapkan instrumentasi non tes, seperti angket dan wawancara, sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan angket kepada siswa kelas VII dan VIII. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan siswa dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan serta peran layanan bimbingan konseling di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap sekolah lanjutan umumnya positif dan penuh harapan, namun diwarnai oleh kekhawatiran dan kebingungan akibat keterbatasan informasi dan tekanan dari lingkungan keluarga maupun teman sebaya. Faktor internal yang memengaruhi pemilihan sekolah lanjutan meliputi kualitas sekolah, cita-cita individu, pertimbangan biaya pendidikan, serta dorongan dan pertimbangan orang tua. Sementara itu, faktor eksternal meliputi pengaruh teman sebaya, akses informasi, dan peran guru bimbingan konseling. Penggunaan instrumentasi non tes terbukti efektif dalam mengidentifikasi kebutuhan, harapan, dan permasalahan siswa secara objektif. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya layanan bimbingan konseling yang komprehensif dan penggunaan instrumen non tes untuk mendukung siswa dalam mengambil keputusan pendidikan yang tepat sesuai potensi dan kondisi mereka.

Abstract

Guidance counselors play a vital role in the implementation of guidance and counseling programs in schools and are responsible for shaping students' personalities. They help develop students' personalities through counseling sessions and by utilizing opportunities outside of formal counseling hours. This study is a library research aimed at investigating, analyzing, and synthesizing previous research conducted within this field of study. It involves the collection and evaluation of various journal articles, books, research reports, and other relevant sources related to the topic. Students' personalities vary; some are extroverted while others are introverted. More specifically, students exhibit diverse personality types such as sanguine, melancholic, phlegmatic, and choleric. The study also explores guidance counselors’ understanding of these personality types. Sanguine students are enthusiastic and cheerful in learning, yet may act impulsively based on emotions. Phlegmatic students are self-controlled, observant, and critical, but may also be self-centered. Melancholic students tend to be sensitive and emotionally deep. Choleric students are disciplined and responsible but may lack emotional expression. Assertive students are characterized by being firm, opinionated, and critical thinkers.

Abstract

In an effort to address the problem of drug addiction, individual counseling services play a very important role. This service enables counselors to provide direct, face-to-face, and personalized assistance to clients, thereby creating a deep and trusting relationship (rapport). Individual counseling aims to help clients understand themselves, identify their problems, and develop self-regulation and self-control skills in order to overcome addiction and prevent relapse. This journal employs a literature study approach. The findings indicate that individual counseling plays a crucial role in the recovery process of drug addiction. Through a personal and structured approach, this counseling helps build a trusting relationship between the counselor and the client, allowing the client to feel comfortable opening up and addressing their addiction-related problems. The counseling process includes stages of assessment, problem identification, therapy, evaluation, and commitment reinforcement, all of which are designed to support changes in negative behaviors and thought patterns. The factors causing narcotics addiction are highly complex, involving internal aspects such as personality, psychological conditions, and family environment, as well as external factors such as social influences and the easy accessibility of drugs. Therefore, effective individual counseling must be able to accommodate these various factors in a holistic manner. Individual counseling services have been proven effective in the rehabilitation process of clients with drug addiction. Through a personal approach, emotional support, identification of underlying problems, development of coping skills, and periodic monitoring, individual counseling provides a strong foundation for clients to achieve sustainable recovery.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic-based group and individual counseling in strengthening students’ character and morals at MTs Muhammadiyah Curup. Islamic counseling integrates psychological principles with Islamic spiritual values to shape students' behavior and personality in accordance with Islamic ethics. The findings indicate that while Islamic counseling approaches have been included in the school’s guidance programs, their implementation remains suboptimal. Contributing factors include low frequency of counseling sessions, a lack of participatory methods, and limited competencies among counselors in systematically applying Islamic counseling techniques. Furthermore, parental and community involvement in the counseling process is minimal. The study recommends specialized training for school counselors, increased frequency of counseling services, and stronger collaboration between schools, parents, and communities to support character development through Islamic counseling. By enhancing the spiritual and emotional dimensions of counseling, the formation of students’ moral character can be achieved more effectively and sustainably.
