Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem based instruction learning model with ethnicscience approach to students' learning achievement on stoichiometric material. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with the times series design. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by measuring question instruments, observations, and open interviews, as well as student response questionnaires. The pretest and posttest implementation in this study was conducted four times. The results of the study obtained the value of N-Gain at each pretest and posttest which was carried out four times. The first N-gain is 0.788, the second N-Gain is 0.785, the third N-Gain is 0.774, and the fourth NGainis 0.753. The fourth value of N-Gain is in the high category. To test thehypothesis, non-parametric t-test is used because the data obtained is not normal. Based on the t test that has been done, it is obtained data of sig 2 tailed value of 0.00. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the use of problem based instruction learning models with ethnains approach to student achievement on stoichiometric material. This model is also effective in improving students' learning achievement on stoichiometric material as seen from the high number of effect sizes, namely 98%, 98%, 96%, and 95%. Individual and classical completeness tests obtain results of 79.55 and 85.64% respectively and can be categorized completely. Abstract

The condition in a learning process characterized the certain barriers to reach study results called by a learning difficulty. A learning disability students wouldhave an impact on student learning achievements. The research is a follow-upto previous studies said that intelligence quotient (IQ) have an significantagainst difficulties study results students in subjects chemical. This studyfocused on the relationship between intelligence quotient and student’sdifficulty in chemistry class at SMA N 9 Semarang. It was a descriptivequalitative research which used observation, interview, documentation, andquestionnaire as the method to collect the data. From the result it can beconcluded that there was relationship between student’s learning difficulty andthe intelligence quotient, especially on student’s reasoning ability during thechemistry class. The ability to think students include computation capabilitiesand memorization.This proved that hypothesis right, namely intelligencequotient have an significant against difficulties study results students inparticular to the matter memorization in matter a periodic system element on the subjects of chemical in SMA N 9 Semarang. Keywords:Intelligence quotient (IQ), Learning difficulty, Chemistry

Abstract

n pop-up book as a medium the introduction of local knowledge related knowledge native process of making salt jono to village of primary school age children primary school in order that he might the natural resources in the region. It also can foster the sense of love of country and proud of the local culture owned jono village. This study aims to know needs analysis students and teachers on the development of a pop-up book as a medium learning primary school student based indigenous science local wisdom farmers salt jono village, and developed. The development of this pop-up book research methods have research and development with the procedures used the development of which is a modification of 4d model that was triggered by thiagarajan (1974). The stage that have been conducted by namely define and design. During the preparatory phase of define the results showedthat knowledge of the production process salt in the village jono not yet used as the theme of primary school in their experiences in the. The procurement of media that are contextual and fun is really needed by the educator in the process of learning to support students understanding of the subject matter. A literature review and field work was carried out by means of interview, observation, and documentation. Based in pop-up book indigenous science local wisdom farmers salt jono village is hoped can be alternative media learning that can be used educator in creating an atmosphere of learning which interactive and fun and easy to understand students .Keywords: pop-up book, local wisdom, farmers salt Jono village, the learning.

Abstract

"RATU PIRAKAS" The Paralon Pipe Shoe Shelf is the latest innovation that utilizes used paralon pipes as thebasic material for making shoe racks. Shoe shelving can reduce waste or be environmentally friendly and canincrease income for students. "RATU PIRAKAS" The Paralon Pipe Shoe Shelf was developed as a brilliantstudent idea, to reduce waste from households that are widely available in Semarang. So with the productcreativity of students in the form of "RATU PIRAKAS" this can recycle paralon pipe waste into goods that areready to use, high selling value and environmentally friendly. The method used to make used parallel pipes is tomake a shoe rack design, collect used paralon pipes, cut paralon pipes, wash and sandpipe paralon pipes, rack updesigns, paint shelves, and pack. So far the resulting product has been good, but no one has been sold due to themarketing process that has not been widespread, especially among the general public. Some problems encountered in the process of making "RATU PIRAKAS" this is the lack of manpower for the work, lack of coordination between members and the timing of unscheduled work. Our hope, student creativity products in the form: "RATU PIRAKAS" Pallet Shoe Shelf Paralon Used, acceptable to the community, and can increase student income. In addition creativity made from paralon pipes used to contribute to save the world from environmental pollution by using household waste that now generates a lot of waste in the form of used paralon pipes.Keywords: Ratu Pirakas, Trash, Pipe Paralon Used
