Abstract

Undergravel airlift pump is a simple filter system that uses air. The purpose of this study was to analyze the efficiency of using Undergravel Airlift Pump in Aquaculture Oreochromis sp. The approach used is an experimental approach with 2 treatments and 1 control. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the application of undergravel airlift pump had an impact on water quality. The treatment of middle airlift  position is more effective compared to the bottom airlift  and control. The temperature and pH parameters were not significantly different; dissolved oxygen and total dissolved solid were significantly different.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of input factors on the grade point average (GPA). The approach used is quantitative approach with explanatory research method. The population is Poliwangi Students class of 2016 and 2017 who enter through the PMDK. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling by determining the number of samples using the Slovin equation. Data analysis used is multiple linear regressions. The results showed that the national exams and School Examinations had a significant effect on the grade point average (GPA) for students State Polytechnic of Banyuwangi class of 2016 and 2017. Department and previous Schools had no significant effect on the grade point average (GPA) students State Polytechnic of Banyuwangi class of 2016 and 2017. Abstract

Thermal testing of unfixed flatbed dryers was carried out on natural convection heat transfer. Its specifications are 4 number of bed level, using 1/4 Hp and 1400 rpm electric motor power and rotation, 1:60 gearbox ratio, A type of V belt with a length of 686 mm, pulleys diameter of 95 mm, and the shaft diameter of 12 mm in made sB = 70.2 kg / mm2 of the materials. Tests were carried out to determine the thermal performance of the dryer such as the amount of input energy, the energy used to evaporate the water contained in the grain, and its distribution for each level of the bed. The test results revealed that with the input energy of 6.396 kW, it took 125 minutes to evaporate the water in the rice, and the highest thermal efficiency on the 2nd level from the bottom.

Abstract

The staple food of the Indonesian population is rice. Farmers in the process of planting rice have several obstacles, including: weather factors, availability of fertilizers, pests and diseases. One of the main pests of rice plants is the brown planthopper. Brown planthoppers attack almost all rice varieties with damage levels ranging from mild to severe and can even cause crop failure. Planthoppers have the ability to reproduce in large numbers in a short time. The planthopper sucks the liquid from the rice plant, causing the plant to grow stunted and yellow, then the leaves turn yellow and dry, like burning. Farmers eradicate planthoppers by spraying insecticides. The planthopper habitat is at the base of rice planting, making planthoppers difficult to eradicate using spraying techniques. Characteristics of planthoppers attracted by lights at night, can be used to eradicate planthoppers. The brown planthopper pest control device is designed to use automatic spray and LED lights. The LED light serves to attract the planthoppers closer to the automatic sprayer. In the automatic spray there is an ultrasonic sensor that detects the presence of planthoppers or other insects. When insects are detected, planthoppers are sprayed using direct contact insecticides. This technique is expected to kill planthoppers and reduce planthopper populations quickly and precisely. The application of pest control tools was carried out in Sumbersari village, Srono sub-district, Banyuwangi district.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi hasil penjualan Bubuk Kopi Robusta Original Rumah Kopi Lerek Gombengsari Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Mengetahui strategi prioritas dalam meningkatkan hasil penjualan Bubuk Kopi Robusta Original Rumah Kopi Lerek Gombengsari Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, kuesioner serta dokumentasi. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Kopi Lerek Gombengsari Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Pemilihan narasumber menggunakan teknik purposive sampling meliputi, Akademisi dari institusi dengan program studi pertanian terdekat, Ketua Asosiani Petani Gombengsari dan Pemilik usaha sebagai Informan Kunci. Teknik analisis data berfokus pada analisis Matriks IFAS dan EFAS, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Matriks IE, Matriks SWOT dan Matriks QSPM. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil penjualan Bubuk Kopi Robusta Rumah Kopi Lerek Gombengsari berdasarkan faktor internal adalah kondisi geografis yang mendukung, persediaan bahan baku kopi robusta yang melimpah, menjadi objek kunjungan wisata, telah terjalinnya kerjasama dengan petani kopi robusta, dukungan pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuwangi dan adanya peran dari pihak akademisi. Faktor eksternal adalah diversifikasi produk dalam menghadapi pesaing, tren sistem pengolahan basah dan jaringan atau relasi pasar. 2. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada Matriks QSPM bahwa prioritas strategi dalam meningkatkan hasil penjualan Rumah Kopi Lerek Gombengsari adalah memanfaatkan objek kunjungan wisata untuk menambah jaringan atau relasi pasar.

Abstract

Undergravel filter dengan penggerak airlift pump adalah sistem filter menggunakan udara sebagai mendorong air. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perubahan pola selama pemeliharaan dari parameter kualitas air meliputi suhu, pH, DO, dan TDS. Parameter ikan meliputi panjang dan berat ikan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan eksperimental dengan 3 perlakuan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis grafis dan analisis varians (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pH, panjang dan berat ikan mengalami kenaikan. Parameter suhu mengalami penurunan. Parameter DO dan TDS cenderung datar. Tidak terdapat perbedaan pada parameter suhu dan pH. Terdapat perbedaan pada parameter, DO, TDS, Panjang dan berat ikan.
