Abstract

If material inventory too much than company need will additional interest, maintenance cost and inventory cost. Also depreciation and quality in company can not hold on. All about this will reduce company profit. If material inventory too little in company can make delay in production line so company will get lost. From survey result and distribute survey to responden that is manufactur industry in Semarang city and around all. Generally manufactur industry in Semarang city and around all PPIC to be a part from company all activity. Although all manufactur industry in Semarang city and around all have not PPIC department but they aware and concern capability dan company performance depend on planning and material controlling for reduce waste time and cost to increase productivity.

Abstract

CV. Cipta Manunggal Ungaran merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang menghasilkan produk sarung tangan untuk olahraga golf dengan  kapasitas produksi 35.000 pcs per bulan. Pada pembuatan produk belum terlepas dari proses produksi yang dapat menghasilkan produk cacat. Lean six sigma adalah suatu metode pendekatan sistemik dan sistematik untuk mengidentifikasi dan menghilangkan pemborosan atau aktivitas-aktivitas yang tidak bernilai tambah melalui peningkatan terus-menerus untuk mencapai tingkat kinerja enam sigma, dimana pada enam sigma tedapat 3,4 cacat dari satu juta peluang (DPMO - Defect Per Milion Opportunities). CV. Cipta Manunggal Ungaran baru mencapai nilai DPMO 3,9 maka masih harus berusaha mengurangi jumlah cacat. Hasil penelitian nilai DPMO 3,8 dan merekomendasikan kepada perusahaan perbaikan di bidang operator, metode kerja, bahan baku, mesin, lingkungan dan tata letak lantai produksi.

Abstract

Banyaknya permintaan usus ayam, menjadikan UKM ayam potong untuk memenuhi permintaan tersebut. Permasalahan yang timbul ketika proses pembersihan usus ayam masih menggunakan tangan/manual dan sering kali usus terpelintir pada saat pembersihan sehingga menyebabkan kecacatan usus. Akibat kejadian tersebut, proses pembersihan usus akan terganggu. Waktu yang digunakan untuk pembersihan usus ayam satu kilogram adalah enam puluh menit. Berdasarkan permasalahan pada UKM kecamatan Bandar Kabupaten Batang, diperlukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk merancang mesin pembersih usus ayam dengan memperhatikan aspek ergonomi agar dapat meningkatkan produktifitas pekerja. Dengan mesin semi otomastis ini diharapkan dapat membantu UKM pemotong ayam meningkatkan produktifitasnya Dengan adanya mesin semi otomatis ini proses pembersihan usus setiap satu kilogram yang memerlukan waktu enam puluh menit, dengan adanya mesin semi otomatis proses pembersihan usus setiap satu kilogram menjadi tiga puluh menit. Dalam perancangan ini memperhatikan aspek ahthropometri tenaga kerja serta persentil.

Abstract

Agricultural land in Juwiring Village in the Cepiring sub-district, Kendal Regency, depends on rainwater for irrigating its rice fields. Rice fields in Juwiring village are planted with corn. In one year, farmers in Juwiring village can harvest corn 3 times. By using a solar powered corn sheller machine, farmers can save Rp. 20,000 per sack because there is no need to pay any more for the corn sheller, besides that with this machine you can save fuel because the fuel uses abundant solar power and the solar corn sheller machine is an environmentally friendly machine because it doesn't emit air pollution. In the previous study (Ekoanindiyo, 2020), from the results of the previous design there were several inputs from users, namely the hole for inserting corn was not too high so that farmers had to squat to put corn in. The diameter of the hole is not big enough so if there is corn with a large diameter then the corn cannot enter the hole. For the corn shelling process, it is inserted one by one into the hole so that the shelling process will take a long time. For the disposal site on the previous sheller machine there were two drain holes, namely the disposal of corncobs and the disposal of corn. When the machine is running, the corn cob does not come out of the cob drain hole but comes out together with the corn. The cobs and corn should come out separately, the corncob coming out of the corncob hole while the corn will come out of the corn dispensing hole. In the hole in the sheller machine place the sack so that the corn and corncobs can enter the sack. Development of a corn sheller machine design to improve the previous machine design including farmers in shelling corn do not need to squat so as to reduce fatigue when shelling. The holes for the cobs and corns to come out can be separated. The diameter hole for inserting corn is rather wide so that all sizes of corn can enter and when inserting corn into the machine you don't need one but you can do it directly in large quantities so that the shelling process can be completed more quickly. The research approach is with interviews and observations using anthropometric data of users. Using measurements of the body dimensions of farmers in the Village Farmer Group in Cepiring District as many as 5 people with elbow height body dimensions. The conclusion related to the development of the corn sheller machine design is the development of the corn sheller machine design using anthropometric data on the body dimensions of farmers in the Village Farmer Group in Cepiring District as many as 5 people. The body dimensions used are elbow height body dimensions. In this measurement the data used is the average or 50th percentile data or the average population so that users of moderate to tall stature can reach or use the machine

Abstract

Bottle capping or installing milk bottle caps on CV. Memory Susu Nusantara in Semarang city is still done manually by turning the bottle cap by hand. There are many weaknesses in working manually that cause workers to get tired quickly and even blisters, especially on the fingers and wrists. This design or design is planned to use anthropometric data with a sample of 30 employees and the surrounding community as a measure. The measurements used are forward hand reach (JTD) and hand grip (GT). The optimal percentile that will be used is 50. The reach of the hand will be tested for the adequacy and uniformity of the data. Research in the form of this design will later be developed in the form of implementing tools from the designs that have been researched. It can be concluded that later with the Bottle capping tool, workers will be more comfortable at work, besides that it is more effective than the previous manual method. Product design in addition to paying attention to ergonomic size must also pay attention in terms of strength and safety when used.

Abstract

Seperti halnya negara-negara di Samudera Pasifik, Indonesia merupakan penghasil kelapa utama di dunia. Pemotongan kelapa muda hingga pada saat sekarang ini masih banyak yang menggunakan peralatan tradisional yang masih memiliki banyak kelemahan. Penerapan teknologi mekanis dalam bentuk mesin dan peralatan tepat guna di kalangan penjual kelapa muda sangat perlu untuk dikembangkan agar jumlah dan mutu produk dapat ditingkatkan.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian guna mendesain alat bantu berupa perancangan pisau cincin dan alat bantu pembelah kelapa muda manual guna mencegah pegal ataupun sakit pada tangan. Pengukuran dan penghitungan sudut menggunakan metode OWAS (Ovaco Work Postur Analysis System) dan pengukuran dimensi tubuh pekerja menggunakan anthropometri agar mendapatkan desain perancangan alat pisau cincin dan alat bantu pembelah kelapa muda manual.Setelah pengukuran data penjual kelapa muda data yang didapat sebagai ukuran alat adalah 155 mm ukuran panjang pisau cincin, 28 mm ukuran lebar lubang cincin, 370 mm ukuran panjang pisau pemotong kelapa muda, dan 87 mm lebar pisau pemotong kelapa muda.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa alat ini dapat membelah kelapa muda tanpa menimbulkan pegal ataupun rasa sakit pada tangan, di bandingkan menggunakan parang atau sabit. Dari hasil yang didapat, alat pembelah kelapa muda direkomendasikan untuk digunakan

Abstract

This study aims to design an ergonomic workstation and implement a rotating jig aid in the sprocket welding process at PT.IMC. The main focus is to reduce worker fatigue, improve work efficiency, and ensure welding quality. The methodology includes risk analysis using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), direct observation, worker interviews, biomechanical measurements, and ergonomic and productivity evaluations before and after the ergonomic aid implementation. The results indicate that the application of the rotating jig and procedural modifications significantly reduce fatigue risk by 45%, increase welding productivity by 66%, and decrease product defect rates by 100%. These findings highlight the importance of integrating ergonomic principles in manufacturing processes to enhance worker well-being and operational efficiency. Recommendations are provided for broader application in similar manufacturing industries to achieve sustainable improvements.

Abstract

In the context of increasing globalisation and the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Indonesian companies are under pressure to improve their collective productivity and efficiency. Although the integration of advanced technology is the main focus, human involvement still plays a crucial role in achieving optimal production. This research examines the factors contributing to worker fatigue during material handling activities, emphasising the importance of prioritising employee well-being, safety, and health. A proven effective approach is to take an ergonomic design approach to workstations to suit the physical characteristics of workers, thereby reducing fatigue levels and increasing productivity. Implementing the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method is proposed as a systematic way of identifying and addressing various operational challenges. A case study at PT Kubota Indonesia demonstrates that implementing this method can significantly enhance manufacturing productivity while maintaining stringent safety standards.
