Abstract

Arrange situation which better in  company will improve activity  efficiency and effectiveness, so that not generate current of return inter department as well as minimization is expense of transfer of material. Problems of arising out in PT. Jamu Indonesia of Simona is how to arrange to arrange facility situation produce effectively so that material stream and minimization of[is expense of material of handling during production process take place. After seeing layout early, there are some process transfer of too material far effect of arrangement of less efficient production facility. Hence to lessen the expense of material of handling which too big used method of From Chart to constructively Facility Location Layout running and  comparison [among/between] result of change running 2 change and department 3 data-processing department. The value with FLL running three measurement of distance method, Rectilinear Distance, Squared Euclidean Distance and of Euclidean Distance got most minimum contribution value that is method of Euclidean Distance. Later; then pursuant to degree of contiguity between room use analysis of Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) made  proposal of layout new. After FLL layout running analyze ARC, obtained minimum total cost change 2 department. To get best proposal layout, hence minimum total cost from third used to be measurement of distance method to be recounted to use method of Euclidean Distance as comparison. Abstract

Scheduling of production basically resource allocation to finish a group of work to be fulfilling certain criterion. The criterion can in the form of minimum completion of task time, usage of maximal resource, generated total cost minimum and other criterions. There is three important aspect to determine accomplishment of criterion, that is determination of production lot, determination of work sequence and determination of production capacities which is needed. In a industry of manufacture, scheduling needed in operator energy allocation, machine, and equipment of production, process sequence, product type, purchasing of raw material and others. Abstract

PT. Rumpun Sari Medini early represent company which process green tea leaf sprout become dry tea which later then re-sold at company - company of other tea like: Sosro, 2 Forceps, and also PT. Rumpun Sari Medini with the existence of addition of new machine amount  production floor, causing to arrange floor situation produce green tea become less arranged better and cause material of handling required become more, eating expense and time, and also larger ones energy. Evaluated from arranging facility situation produce PT. Rumpun Sari Medini, trouble-shooting here  solving by using method of From Chart to with Facility Location Layout and software running (FLL), in this method determined travelled distance frequency between room, and also determined also degree of contiguity between room by using Activity Relationship Chart (ARC). ResultL of processing with FLL running three measurement of distance method, Rectilinear Distance, Squared Euclidean Distance and of Euclidean Distance seen from best contiguity to entire/all part of production and also possibility do the proposal layout can be applied with condition of which in fact field, got  most minimum contribution value that is Euclidean Distance with contribution value equal to 115.894,32. Here also determined degree of contiguity between room by using Activity Relationship Diagram (ARC). Later;Then from proposal of layout pursuant to result of analysis of ARC and of running FLL with same method, Euclidean Distance transfer 2 department yield smaller contribution value 95.459,72 so that decided layout result of analysis of ARC weared as proposal layout. Abstract

Performance is a thing that is individualized, as each employee has a different ability levels vary for doing his job. The management company can measure the performance of employees based on the performance of each employee. Performance is an action, not an event. Performance of the action itself consists of many components and is not a result that can be seen at the time as well. Strategy is an integrated, comprehensive and integrated corporate strategy excellence linking environmental challenges that are designed to ensure that corporate objectives can be achieved through proper execution by the company. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method of decision-making on the issue of prioritization of choice alternatives. Using AHP begins by making the hierarchical structure of the problem to study. Pairwise comparison matrices are used to establish relationships within the structure. In the pairwise comparison matrix will be sought from the weight of each criterion in the AHP strategies to improve employee performance with a range of alternatives can be seen that the highest priority to improving the quality of 0.3871. followed by improvement of infrastructure and welfare weighing 0.3610 and 0.2519.   Keywords: Performance, Strategy, AHP

Abstract

Warehouse layout is how to set up industrial facilities to support the smooth production process. Good warehouse layout is essential that the role of a activity inside the process to run smoothly. In order warehouse layout planning includes planning and organizing warehouse layout, equipment, material flow and the people who work at each work station. If prepared properly, then the work operations to be more effective and efficient. Conditions warehouse layout are unfounded a comprehensive layout design can lead to inefficiencies that led to the time period of the material in the material handling by the operator due to time constraints. Share storage method is the method used to set the storage to be more effective. The frequency shift of fast-moving material is stored in a warehouse that is closer to the process and the frequency shift slow-moving material is stored in a warehouse away from the process. Based on data obtained from the research at PT. Bitratex Industries Semarang for designing warehouse layout assembling parts with shared storage method and the results obtained within a more efficient switching time is 40.74 m. Abstract

This research was conducted in order to develop products Hammock Sleeping Bag manufactured by "Hang". Hang is a brand of manufacturers scale home industry located in the area Pusponjolo, Semarang. A wide variety of manufactured products such as hammock, cover bag, backpack, briefcase slempang, cell phone holster, T-shirt screen printing. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is used to bring what consumers want and what they can do manufacturers to meet consumer desires. This product design development research using questionnaires as a data collection tool. The data obtained from consumers and then processed. After knowing the results if the data from the data collected is then made quality house or House of Quality. After the analysis found that the necessary development of variations of the raw material in order to stimulate the development of product design Hammock, so that consumers have many choices determine the type of product to be purchased. Abstract

A company can not be separated from human resources (HR) that work in it. Humans have different levels of individual ability. The company can measure employee performance based on their performance. To be able to improve the performance of every employee the company continues to seek and determine the right strategy to improve the performance of each employee in the PT. BNI Branch of Semarang.Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method of decision making on the problem of determining the priority of choice from various strategic alternatives. The determination of alternative strategies is based on criteria such as business ability, management capability and work ability. Based on the above criteria, the determination of stratrgi alternatives is improving the quality of human resources, improving the welfare and improving the work facilities. With AHP method in determining employee performance improvement strategy, the highest priority is the improvement of work facility with priority value of 0.437633649, then the second alternative is the improvement of the quality of human resources with the priority value of 0.358082139, and the last alternative is the improvement of welfare with the priority value of 0.254133181.Keywords: Employee Performance, AHP

Abstract

Good product design is to pay attention to convenience side by referring to anthtropometry and ergonomics approach. Jap pressing tools in UKM AGAPE Pemalang still using simple tools require workers manually by pressing a well-cooked jenang with the help of wooden entong as a tool to flatten the jenang. Many weaknesses by using the previous pressing tools that cause the worker menjdi tired quickly. In this design using anthropometri and ergonomics approach in determining worker comfort level. Sample used from 31 employees. From this research it can be concluded that with the existence of worker pressing tools more comfortable to use the tool, besides more effective than the previous tool. As for suggestions that can be given is to pay more attention to creativity, creativity, innovation, and comfort levels of workers with the concept of ergonimis in order to produce the design results of a good product. Abstract

Warehouse layout is one very important issue to be considered, because the layout affect the operating efficiency in the long run.  The problems faced by PT Pantjatunggal Knitting Millin raw material storage. Raw materials that have a frequency shift that is often placed far from the I/O, the distance is too much movement of goods and the amount of material handling costs.Shared storage method is a method used to regulate the storage warehouse to be more effective. Switching frequency of fast-moving material is stored in a warehouse which is closer to the frequency shift and slow-moving material is stored in a warehouse furtherfrom the process. The result of the analysis and design of warehouse layout of raw materials is a new layout with shared storage methods, the distance the movement of good initially for 1.150 meters to 691,6 meters or having a saving of 39,8% from the previous layout. As for the original cost of Rp. 37.375,00 to Rp 21.519,00 or experiencing a saving of 42,5%. Thus the layout of the shared storage method is expected to be used as consideration for the company to reorganizethe layout of the raw materials warehouse PT Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill. Abstract

Small and medium enterprises are businesses that require small capital and small profits. One of the obstacles faced by small and medium enterprises is the lack of equipments. This happens in the traditional chicken slaughtering of Bandar village, Batang, which still uses manual labor in the process of removing chicken feathers. To overcome these problems then conducted research to design a tool in the form of thresher machine chicken feathers that can help the process of threshing fur chicken.Machine design using anthropometry and ergonomics approach and work posture analysis with REBA (rapid throughout body assessment) method. The anthropometric data used are hip height, shoulder width, hip to shoulder, and hand reach. The data has been obtained then test data uniformity, data adequacy test, and percentile determination. The REBA scores on manual removal are 5 with medium risk level which means action is needed to reduce the risk of work.The result of this research is in the form of design of work facility in the form of thresher machine of semi-automatic fur chicken adapted to body dimension. Analysis of work posture with REBA method re-done when using thresher feathers chicken, the result REBA score is 3 with low risk level. The machine is tested directly at the chicken-cutting business, and the result of the machine works quite well. Workers can throw chicken feathers easily and quickly. This machine is also considered very helpful in threshing chicken feathers compared with the previous manual process.Keywords: Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), Anthropometry, Product Design, Ergonomics
