Abstract

This study aims to analyze conceptual and procedural errors in solving mathematical problems. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to explore mathematical misconceptions in students and their views on the misconceptions they experience. The misconceptions in this study were obtained from the results of tests and interviews. Misconceptions are most common in geometric materials, but they are not significantly different from other materials. Students still have difficulty due to lack of conceptual understanding of the problem or difficulty connecting mathematical concepts. The type of misconception that is most often experienced by students is confusion because they do not master the supporting concepts. The misconception that is most rarely experienced by students is the wrong classification of concept examples

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pemahaman guru tentang simbol matematika dan kosa kata. Subyek penelitian ini adalah lima orang guru SMP di Kecamatan Lambitu Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggali penguasaan simbol dan kosa kata matematika pada guru. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah lima orang guru matematika di Kecamatan Lambitu Kabupaten Bima. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara. Secara keseluruhan, kelima guru yang diteliti memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang berbagai simbol matematika dan kosa kata yang mereka gunakan dalam pembelajaran. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa kesalahan dalam memahami simbol dan kosa kata matematika. Secara keseluruhan penguasaan simbol dan kosa kata matematika pada guru cukup baik. Kesalahan atau kelalaian ini disebabkan oleh kesalahpahaman dan ketidakakuratan

Abstract

ICT learning is learning that is being a great concern in the world of education today. This service aims to provide ICT-based learning training through Ispring Suite media for teachers at MIS, MTsS, and MAS Salman Al-Farisi Liang. The media created is media for learning evaluation. This service is carried out using training methods and workshops. This service consists of 3 stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. After this service activity was carried out, the teacher was able to make evaluation media using the Ispring Suite media. The teacher gave a positive response and stated that they really needed training like this in the future.Keywords: ICT based Learning, Ispring Suite, Learning Media

Abstract

This study aims to describe how students 'problem-solving abilities in terms of students' mathematical dispositions on the application of the group investigation (GI) learning model. The approach used is qualitative and quantitative with descriptive types. The research subjects were 29 MAN 1 Malang class X. The data collection technique used a closed questionnaire type Likert scale, observation sheet and test questions. The results showed that learning using the group investigation learning model on mathematics learning could have a positive impact on the affective domain of students, namely mathematical disposition. The giving of the first and second disposition questionnaires increased by an average of 3.31 in the good category. Students' mathematical problem solving abilities based on mathematical dispositions are obtained by students with high dispositions who are able to solve problems properly and correctly. Students of moderate disposition can understand the problem well and provide solutions but are lacking in the solving process. Meanwhile, students with low mathematical disposition have less problem solving skills.
