Abstract

            Cooperative is an association established by persons or legal entities of cooperatives that have limited economic ability, with the aim to improve the welfare of its members. Revenues and expenses are an important component of financial statements because different treatment of income and expenses will result in changes in the resulting financial statements. Financial Accounting Standards intended for cooperative entities are SAK ETAP. This study aims to determine the accounting treatment of income and expenses on Cooperative Employees Karya Sampurna PT. Bank Mandiri in accordance with SAK ETAP. The research method used in this thesis research is descriptive method whose purpose each data collected in the analysis and then drawn a conclusion and the type of research used is qualitative descriptive. The results obtained that the accounting treatment of income and expenses on Cooperative Employees Karya Sampurna PT. Bank Mandiri is in compliance with SAK ETAP.Keywords: Accounting treatment, income, expenses.

Abstract

The quality of an audit report on a financial statement is very important for shareholders or other third parties in making decisions. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of client firm size and audit rotation of audit quality. Audit quality uses proxies public accounting firm size, which is measured by dummy variables using the Big Four public accounting firm and Non Big four public accounting firm, the size of the client firm was measured by calculating the natural logarithm of the firms total assets, audit rotation was measured by dummy variable. Population in this research is manufacturing firm listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012-2015, sampling method used in this research use purposive sampling method. This research is using the logistic regression analysis using SPSS 22 version. The result indicates that: (1) firm client size has significant effect towards audit quality, (2) audit rotation has no effect towards audit quality. Abstract

The quality of government financial reporting is a normative prerequisite for the preparation of financial statements so that the resulting accounting information can be beneficial to users of financial statements. This is the aim of recognizing the effect of human resources and organizational commitment toward the quality of regional financial reports in BPKAD in Manado. The data collected through questionnaire distributions to 64 respondents were financial managers at BPKAD in Manado City. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis method with SPSS 17 program. The results showed that SDM Capacity has no positive effect on LKPD Quality and Organization Commitment positively and significantly affect the quality of Local Government Financial Reporting at BPKAD in Manado City.Keywords: Human Resource Capacity, Organizational Commitment, Quality of Financial Statement.

Abstract

PT. Bank Tabungan Negara, Tbk Manado is one of the branch offices of BUMN’s, which must implement Good Corporate Governance in accordance with GCG principles set by the Minister of BUMN PER-01 / MBU / 2011. Internal audit is one of the elements in GCG and has a role in overseeing the implementation of corporate management and overseeing any practices undertaken by the company. The implementation of GCG in the bank must follow the rules of BI and follow GCG guidelines by KNKG. Therefore, this study aims to determine the implementation of GCG at the bank and to determine the role of internal audit in realizing the implementation of GCG. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The method of analysis used in this research is descriptive method with data collection technique such as interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study is Bank Tabungan Negara has implemented GCG according to applicable rules that is by implementing the principles of GCG. Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are productive economic enterprises owned by individuals or business entities. Business activities undertaken by small and medium enterprises require a financial statement that reflects the business activities undertaken during one period. The financial statements are a form of corporate management accountability by management to external and internal parties. Seeing the importance of usability, the financial statements should be structured according to the applicable standards in order to be interpreted with the same concept and understanding by its users. The generally accepted Financial Accounting Standards make it difficult for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) who only have minimal accounting knowledge in preparing financial statements. The Financial Accounting Standards Entity Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP) comes with the aim to accommodate the needs of entities that have no significant public accountability in the conduct of their business such as SMEs. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of Financial Accounting Standards Entity Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP) Against Manado Financial Report. This research uses descriptive-comparative research type. The results show that Manado Manado has not fully implemented the Financial Accounting Standards of Non-Accountable Public Entity (SAK ETAP) in its financial statements. This is because the financial manpower of Manado Manado does not have sufficient knowledge about the Financial Accounting Standards of Non-Public Accountable Entity (SAK ETAP) so that it becomes a factor that Manado Bahaga has not fully implemented SAK ETAP. Instead, the company employs a competent financial personnel in their field so that they can produce financial statements in accordance with SAK ETAP.Keywords: SAK ETAP, Financial Statements, SMEs

Abstract

External auditor is an independent and competent person who can examine financial statements and be responsible for the opinions given. This research aims to examine the effect of professional skepticism and auditor’s experience on fraud detection ability of external auditor. The sample in this research are all auditors who work in Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) Republik Indonesia (The Indonesia’s Supreme Audit Institution) Reprensentative of North Sulawesi Province. The data of this research is using primary data. The data was collected  by distributing  questionnaires directly to auditors of BPK RI Representative of North Sulawesi Province. This research is using the multiple linear regression analsys with SPSS 23.  The result indicate that: 1) Professional Skepticism has positive effect towards Fraud Detection Ability of External Auditor. 2) Auditor’s Experience has positive effect towards Fraud Detection Ability of External Auditor. 3) Professional Skepticism and Auditor’s Experience simultaneously have positive effect towards Fraud Detection Ability of External Auditor. Abstract

The ADD (Alokasi Dana Desa) program is one of the part from APBD (Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah) that allocated to fulfill the needs, role of the government, and to support the village development. ADD program is one of the sources of income that can be related to support the village development in order to improve the welfare of the villagers. This study aims to find out the implementation of the ADD program in efforts to increase the rural growth. This study is qualitative research. The result shows that the village government has been properly applying the standard of the ADD program based on North Minahasa regulation No. 22, 2016. Abstract

The area retribution is one of locally generated revenue. Retribution is compulsory payments of the people to the state due to the existence of certain services provided by the state for its individual population. Toraja cultural activities are still very actively conducted by the people, where every traditional ceremony involves slaughterhouses, which means the collection of retribution slaughterhouses. This research aims to find out the potential of Retribution of Slaughterhouses ini Toraja Utara District. The data used is the primary data sourced from the interview and the secondary data sourced from the realization of retribution of slaughterhouse in 2013-2016. The analysis taken is potency of slaughterhouse retribution analysis. The results of the analysis show that the livestock slaughterhouse abattoir outside the slaughterhouse is bigger than the slaughterhouse. The analysis show that at the ceremony Rambu Solo’ and Rambu Tuka’, Pudu buffalo and pigs have great potential in retribution collection. This is because in Toraja customs, animal slaughter is not done carelessly.Keywords: Potential, Retribution of Slaughterhouse.

Abstract

Information generated from financial statements will be useful if the information is understood and used by users in analyzing a report and management of local finances. For that we need to measure the financial performance of the government, how far the progress achieved by the government of Tomohon. The research was conducted in the financial management, revenue and assets of Tomohon. The data used is quantitative in the form of Budget Realization Report (LRA), the method used is quantitative to measure financial performance with Financial ratios. The results show that the financial performance of Tomohon is not good, where the financial performance in 2013-2016, for the effectiveness ratio is above 90% -100%. While the efficiency ratio and the independence ratio per year are not running well. Keywords: Influence of  financial performance measurement

Abstract

Village financial management planning is the first step in the village financial management process. This planning stage is very important because in relation to village financial management, this stage of planning is the process by which the draft APBDesa will be developed. The purpose of this research is to know the financial planning in Kauneran I village, Sonder sub-district of Minahasa regency. This research uses qualitative analysis method. The results showed that at the planning stage of village financial management in the village of Kauneran I still not in accordance with Permendagri 113/2014. This is seen in the government regulations on APBDesa that should be evaluated by the local Bupati / Walikota is not implemented at all. In addition, the lack of participation from the community also becomes another fator of constraints in the planning stages of village finance management. This indicates that the financial management of villages in Kauneran I village has not implemented a participatory principle in accordance with Permendagri 113/201.Keyword: Perencanaan Village’s Financial Management, Permendagri No. 113/2014
