Abstract

CV. Laksana as a large company engaged in autobody manufacture still have an employees with a low work motivation such as production target that aren’t finished on time, the quality of production isn’t in accordance with company standards, etc. This can be caused by a lack of ability of employees because they lack of training or compensation given by the company isn’t good enough. The purpose of this research are to acknowledge the impact of training and compensation towards the work motivation of CV. Laksana employees. This research are using explanatory research and collecting data methods using interview and questionnaires as data collection tools with a sample of 72 respondents of CV. Laksana employees which is accussed by probability sampling methods and random sampling methods. The analyzing methods used in this research validity test, reliability test, coefficient correlation, regression test, determination coefficient, t and F signification test using SPSS 25.0 application. The result of this research shows that training variables had an impact 61.7% towards work motivation, at the other hand compensation varieble had an impact 70.8% towards work motivation, and simultaneously training and compensation have influenced on work motivation 71.6%. This means the better training and compensation given by the company the better work motivation of the employees to finish their job. This research shows that compensation variable have more impact towards work motivation rather than training variable. It is suggested to the company management to keep maintain or even improve the quality of training and keep evaluating about the compensation given to keep maintain the work motivation of the employees.

Abstract

The model of this research is testing the influence of product quality and advertising to purchase decisions Wardah brand cosmetics through brand image as an interveving variable. The population on this study were consumers of Wardah cosmetics on students collage faculty political and social science of Diponegoro University. The research sample of 98 respondens and the sampling technique used was propotional sampling.Measurement scala using a Likert scale. Data analysis used regression test, correlation test, determination test, significance test, path analysis, sobel test and mediation test with SPSS version 16 aplication. The results of this study note that the quality of the product significantly influences the brand image with the value of t arithmetic (6.905)> t table (1.985), it is proven that there is a significant influence of advertising with brand image with the value of t arithmetic (6.346)> t table (1.985), proved the influence Significant product quality with a purchase decision (5,967)> t table (1,985), evidenced by the significant influence of advertising with a purchasing decision with a value of t arithmetic (3.685)> t table (1,985), evidenced the influence of brand image with a purchase decision t arithmetic (5,951) )> t table (1,985), it is proven that there is a significant influence between product quality on purchasing decisions through brand image with a value of t arithmetic (2,930)> t table (1,985) and evidenced the influence of advertising on purchasing decisions through a brand image with a value of t arithmetic (3,663)> t table (1,985).

Abstract

Along with the growth in the culinary business in Semarang, leading to higher levelcompetition faced by Stove Syndicate Cafe Semarang. The decline in sales and number of visitors inStove Syndicate Cafe Semarang indicate less than optimal customer satisfaction. This study aimed todetermine the effect of service quality, product diversity, and location take effect customer satisfactionStove Syndicate Cafe Semarang.This type of research is explanatory research design to data collection tool is questionnaire.This study used 100 respondents, consumer Stove Syndicate Cafe Semarang which has been apurchase more than second times . The sampling technique of this research is non probabilitysampling with accidental sampling approach. Test equipment instruments used are validity andreliability testing. Analysis of the data used is the correlation coefficient, determination coefficient,simple linear regression, t test, multiple linear regression, and F test.Based on the results of analysis show that in partial quality of service contributed influenceon customer satisfaction by 57,2%, the variable product diversity contributed influence on customersatisfaction by .52,5% and location variables contributing influence on customer satisfaction by51.1%. Simultaneously, quality of service, product diversity and location of contributing influence oncustomer satisfaction by 71.1%.The conclusion of this study indicate quality of service, product diversity, and locationpartially and simultaneously influence customer satisfaction Trans Stove Syndicate Cafe Semarang.Based on these results, the manager Stove Syndicate Cafe Semarang should be able to improve andcontinue to develop the quality of service to match the benefits of consumers, the diversity of existingproducts as well as continue to consistently innovate and improve the facilities associated with thelocation to be able to improve customer satisfaction stove Syndicate Cafe Semarang.

Abstract

At PT. Sariwarna really needs female workers, especially women workers because spinning and weaving requires precision, diligence and patience, the Chairperson of the Trade Union said so. The head of the HRD also said that married women had better performance compared to unmarried female workers, this was because married female workers had worked for years and were already accustomed to the existing workload. The purpose of this study is to find out the influential role conflict on work performance and to find out the social support of the couple influences the role conflict in married women who have children at PT. Original Textile Sariwarna. To answer the problems and objectives of the study using structural functionalism theory popularized by Robert K. Merton, as a study in analyzing the existing problems, namely the dual role of wives in the family. The results of the study related to the purpose of the study which wanted to explain the influential role conflict on work performance from the results of this study were indeed role conflict influenced work performance but only a few informants experienced it. Furthermore, namely to explain the social support of the couple influencing the role conflict, the results of this study show that the social support of couples is very important when female workers experience role conflict. The latter, namely the social support of the couple influences the work performance of the results of the study shows that it greatly influences work performance and the social support of the couple plays an important role.

Abstract

The work force in indonesia along the development of the changes. One of the amendments that is an influx of women in the work force. PT Phapros Tbk is one of the companies in semarang have female employees who in 2013 until 2016 an up and down in attendance or absentee fluctuant. Both are permitted employee performance can be seen from the dual role, job stress and motivation work.The purpose of this research is to find influence the dual role, job stress and motivation work on performance female employees in pt phapros tbk semarang city. Type research is explanatory research, to technique data collection through the questionnaire and interview. The sample techniques used technique purposive sampling. Sample 100 respondents were is an employee women pt phapros tbk semarang. This research using a technique the quantitative analysis. The quantitative analysis use the validity, reliability test, a correlation coefficient, regression analysis simple and multiple, the coefficients determination, the significance ( test T and test F ).This research result indicates that there was a correlation in the category of strong between variables the dual role, job stress, and motivation work of the performance of employees where the value of r of 0,579. Variable free third was proven have a positive influence and significantly to employee performance. Evidenced by the results of the test positive regression of 0,146 to the dual role, 0,025 for stress work and motivation 0,307 to work. The f count of 16,168 greater than f table (2,703).Based on the results of the study, the researchers suggest PT Phapros tbk. to be able to create a pleasant working environment, manage stress well, pay attention to the quality and quantity of results of work of employees.

Abstract

Public interest to tourism activity is always increasing, seen from the many deals offered by Travel Agencies in internet. Tourism spots seem to be a promising business to by playing the tourism management role. Karimunjawa Island has massive potentials that need to be exposed to public. The paper seeks to provide insights into the application of marketing communication strategies, with social media and word of mouth communication in tourism industry from the perspectives of its tourism potentials, evaluating their effectiveness for place branding management at Karimunjawa National Park. The specific purpose is to uncover the important role marketing communication with practice of social media and word of mouth to build the place brands by engaging potential visitors. The social media and word of mouth proved to be a major communication vehicle that spread across the region like wildfire. Tourism industry is one of the sectors that have beneficiated the most from the marketing communication strategies. As a result social media word of mouth have become an integral part of Karimunjawa National Park place branding.Qualitative case-study method generates understanding of how social media and word of mouth communicate the Karimunjawa National Park’s tourism potentials. In-depth interview allows exploration of how the marketing communication strategies with practice of social media and word of mouth used in place branding processes. As a result, the relationship between travel agent and customers is closer than ever, with businesses continuing to turn to social media and word of mouth to promote their services and reach customers in a more intimate and personal way.

Abstract

The informal business sectors or small medium enterprises will surely depend on good and quality human resources to drive their business assets. This is because human resources are a basic element of every company. So every company, especially small medium enterprises will always try to improve employee productivity. One of the factors that can increase productivity drastically is work discipline. This research was conducted at UMKM Batik Semarang 16 producing batik in Semarang city, aiming to know the application of work discipline. The data were collected by participant observation technique, in-depth interview to business leader, and business worker in UMKM Batik Semarang 16. Data analysis was done gradually by describing the condition (description), interpreting with theory (interpretation) and explaining (explanation) from data source obtained. The results of the analysis are compared with supporting theories, among them Malayu Hasibuan (2000: 192) states that there are several factors that affect the level of discipline of employees of a company, such as penalties or written rules, role model of leadership, firmness of leadership, remuneration ,and supervision inherent / monitoring . This study concludes that the discipline of work in UMKM Batik Semarang 16 has been running well, especially in the role model of leadership, firmness of leadership, and supervision inherent / monitoring. But in terms of dimensions of punishment sanction and remuneration must be improved. Suggestions that can be given are 1) Required mechanism of interpretation and socialization of routine about work discipline 2) The need to hold and apply compensation or remuneration and promotion of position to improve discipline worker of workers consistent in discipline. In addition, it is necessary to increase the training or deepening of batik science to the workers.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of gaining an understanding of compensation and motivation for employee performance. This research was conducted at PT. Fumira Semarang. The research sample borrowed 72 respondents in the production department. This study consists of 17 indicators, 3 variables and 3 hypotheses. The analytical tool used is SPSS 19.0 for Windows with validity test, reliability test, test coefficient test, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, and significance test (t test and F test). The results of this study show a partial comparison (X1) positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y), based on the results of a simple linear regression test Y = 3.509 + 0.436 X1 with a t count of 15.602 greater than t table of 1.666 which shows Ho rejected and Ha accepted . Comparison coefficient of compensation to employee performance of 0.881 which means it has a strong and direct relationship between compensation and employee performance. The coefficient of compensation determination is 77.3%. The results of respondents' answers to compensation for compensation of employees of PT. Fumira is in the good category of 38.9%. While motivation (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) with results Y = 2.929 + 0.551 X2, t arithmetic motivation of 14.895 is higher than t table of 1.666 which shows Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Motivation coefficient of 0.872 indicates a strong and direct relationship to employee performance with the coefficient of determination of motivation on employee performance of 75.7%. The results of respondents' answers to the motivation of PT. Fumira is in the good category of 55.6%. Variable compensation (X1) and motivation (X2) with positive and significant simultaneous effect on employee performance (Y) with the results Y = 2.226 + 0.250X1 + 0.282X2 with an F count of 147.777 is greater than the F table of 3.13 selected Ha accepted and Ho refused. The coefficient value of 0.914 shows a strong relationship between compensation and motivation on employee performance. Based on the results of the study, PT. Fumira Semarang is expected to provide appropriate and timely compensation to employees and increase the level of payments and bonuses as a form of company appreciation for its employees. Companies are expected to provide training and coaching more often for employees to create expertise and improve the skills of employees.

Abstract

Labor productivity is an important thing that must be considered and often used to measure the extent to which workers can reach the target set company. Labor productivity can be influenced by several factors among them are dual role conflicts and skills. PT Royal Korindah Purbalingga is an industrial company that develops with the production and export of false eyelashes. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the dual role conflict and skills against labor productivity on PT Royal Korindah Purbalingga. This research using a  quantitative approach. Sample  90  laborers several women who are married and have a  child using a probability sampling technique. Data collection use instruments in the questionnaire. Analysis research on the SPSS20.0 version. The result showed that the dual role conflict influences productivity with count -5,906 > t table 1,9873. Skills influences productivity  with  t  count  8,727 > t  table  1,9873. Simultaneously the dual role conflicts and skills influence productivity with an f count 53,998  & gt; f table 3,101 with the significance 0,000 >0,05. The suggestions for this research is to support the dual role of workers women and increase their skills by providing training. These two variables have some indicators that are not optimal to be able to increase productivity can be done by reducing dual role conflicts and increasing skills

Abstract

This research is motivated by the changes of Goa Kreo as a Vacational Destination that located in Kandri Village Gunungpati Semarang. The changes it self including Vacational Branding about the contruction of Jatibarang Dam.The purpose of this study is to determine any possible factors which happened On vacational cluster of Goa Kreo itself, Society and also The People of Small-Mid Enterprises. The Brand movement was about Economic and socio cultural of the Society.The results of this study indicate that the Changes of Branding Campaign on Goa Kreo was also effected the Society especially for Small Middle Enterprises.Suggestions can be delivered is preferably about the vacational management that involved multi effort of the People.
