Abstract

Paduan Fe-Cr-Mn adalah salah satu jenis baja tahan karat seri austenitik yang dikandidatkan sebagai pengganti baja tahan karat konvensional (paduan Fe-Cr-Ni). Unsur mangan (Mn) berfungsi sebagai penstabil austenit, dapat meningkatkan kekerasan dan kekuatan. Secara ekonomis, unsur Mn relatif lebih murah sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pengganti Ni yang mahal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kadar mangan (Mn) terhadap struktur mikro dan sifat mekanik coran baja paduan Fe-Cr-Mn dengan variasi kadar Mn 12%, 16%, dan 20%. Pengujian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji komposisi kimia, uji struktur mikro, uji kekerasan dengan metode Vickers, uji tarik, dan uji impak dengan metode Charpy. Hasil uji komposisi kimia menunjukkan bahwa paduan Fe-Cr-Mn dalam penelitian ini berturut-turut mengandung Mn sebesar 12,72%, 18,05%, dan 20,69% kadar Cr sebesar 18,5% dan C 0,7%. Hasil uji struktur mikro menunjukkan bahwa coran baja paduan Fe-Cr-Mn memiliki struktur austenit dan ferit. Nilai kekerasan tertinggi terdapat pada spesimen dengan kadar Mn 20% yaitu sebesar 358,3 kg/mm2 VHN. Hasil uji kekuatan tarik menunjukkan tegangan tertinggi terdapat pada spesimen dengan kadar Mn 16% yaitu sebesar 34,72 MPa dan regangan sebesar 8%. Kemudian nilai regangan terkecil adalah 6% terdapat pada spesimen dengan kadar Mn 20%, dimana semakin tinggi kadar Mn nilai regangan semakin menurun. Harga impak tertinggi terdapat pada spesimen dengan kadar Mn 16% yaitu sebesar 0,169 J/mm2.

Abstract

Variable speed wind turbines are suitable for isolated populations, island communities or usages in which the charge of electric lines beats the connection and upkeep charge of wind turbine. This research builds wind turbine which working over variable velocity of wind. The proposed construct incorporates three-bladed aerofoil rotor, gear box with ratio 1:8, three-phase doubly-fed induction generator, automatic voltage regulator and tower. Results verify efficacy of this installed structure at wind speed of 7.0-8.2 m/s. The proposed design generates power output at 3 kW, voltage per phase between 220 V, and frequency of 50 Hz; and exhibits noise just around 60-70 dB which is below the permissible noise threshold of 85 dB.

Abstract

The Mukti Jaya Waste Management Group faced irregularities in eco enzyme production, resulting in low product quality and inefficiency. This community engagement aimed to enhance the group's technical and managerial capacity through the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The methods included initial observation, participatory SOP development, hands-on technical training, and implementation mentoring. Results showed an increase in production volume from 12 to 20 liters per batch, a 40% improvement in time efficiency, and a rise in active member participation from 44.4% to 84.4%. Understanding of standardized procedures also improved from a score of 2.7 to 4.4. Evaluations using questionnaires and field observations confirmed enhanced technical and organizational capabilities. Additional impacts included the adoption of production and financial recording systems, the development of a collective work culture, and increased environmental awareness. SOPs proved to be not only a technical guide but also a community empowerment tool promoting efficiency, self-reliance, and sustainability in organic waste management.
